We're wrapping up the hospital raid right now. It worked as our opening to introduce the key players in the founding of The Hoods and Capes, so our work at Inova Fairfax is done.

Other:backstory will be developed, but like her brother worked alongside him. She was a hitwoman, however her life changed on a fateful mission. Losing her arm in a assassination gone wrong. Her brother using his many connections replaced her arm, and then he ripped the spine out of the man who cut off her arm.
She became her brother's personal bodyguard. When she fights her foe, she likes to take time killing then. Savor every moment, of it. Wanting to use everything she has on her, to hurt them. Before killing them.

Conduit

Abilities: Conduit is able to conjure and manipulate energy stored within the astral plane, utilizing it for the purpose of offense and defensive combat. Conduit herself isn't completely aware of what the astral plane entails, but she is aware she can exchange her own energy for a chance at harvesting aspects of the astral plane for herself. With this limitation, Conduit can only extract energy when she, herself is well fit and fully rested. The more depleted of her own energy that Conduit is, the less energy she can conduct and exchange into the mortal plane. The energy can change color depending on Conduit's preference (which typically consists of a gentle purple or orange), and is electrical in nature.

History: To say that Imogen Bryne would have ever anticipated being a villain is an understatement. Having been brought over to the states as an Irish immigrant when she was a baby, Imogen found herself content in what the country had to offer, and was overall a very happy child. Imogen had an older brother, Jack, and a younger brother, Bram, and the tallest order of concerns for her was passing her biochemistry final at the end of her senior year. However, this would change as the young woman was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer three weeks after she graduated. Noting the prognosis was grim, Imogen stretched out far and wide, only to come face to face with a research center focusing mainly on cellular and genetic development in regards to mutation and tumors. Relieved at the offer of care they granted, Imogen allowed them to do anything they pleased, and even found delight when she offered suggestions in how they could make their program better and safer for prospecting patients.

After a bizarre set of tests and surgeries, they claimed that Imogen had been cancer free, and surely enough, with enough effort, she found herself to be bright and healthy. They offered her an internship soon after, with promises of increased health care if she agreed to assist. She agreed, soon becoming acquainted with a test subject who had been comatose for several months prior to Imogen's prospect. Several years later, Imogen found herself in one of the higher positions of the research facility, still caring for the comatose "Patient 324". Imogen had been beginning to receive headaches soon after, and all she knew after was that she could blast colorful speckles of electricity.

That's pretty cool, right?

She...much to her better judgement, didn't consider much of it. All she knows now is there is a villain named Conduit who shares her powers. Thats...thats pretty weird.

Eh. Coincidences exist in nature. She's certain its alright.
