His dad works as a computer designer but his dad wants Hikaru to be perfect. Do everything right and be the very best at it Hikaru hated it he was only human not a robot but still his father wouldn't listen. He just thought if you practice you'll get better that was his logic with it. Hikaru could never convince him so he just does whatever he can to impress his father. He's silent in class and he does that on purpose he can't have a social life keeping up with the torment his dads putting him through but if you can come through to him hes a great person.
