Derion shook his head slightly. "N-not...b-...but I...will...be...in 24...hours.." he coughed violently, almost collapsing. "Need...we need....inside..." he muttered, having a lot of difficulty speaking...or even standing, for that matter.

Aria nodded, taking him on one shoulder before hauling him inside. He was a lot heavier than he looked and it wasn't much different from the way the living room looked at the moment. She continued to drag him down the hall and into her room, a giant king size bed lying before them. She huffed a bit and heaved him onto the covers gently.

Derion stumbled along beside her, doing his best to hold most of his weight, but he failed. He groaned softly as he collapsed onto the bed, his wings folding behind him. He rested on his side, taking deep, pained breaths. Grey eyes flickered sadly up at Aria. "S-sorry..." he muttered softly, apologizing for the mess and for the state he was in.

Aria smiled and leaned down, kissing his forehead. "It's alright." she said softly, heading towards the door to sleep on the couch.

Derion reached out, barely taking her hand. "H-hug?" He asked weakly, almost like that of a young child.

Aria turned back and smiled at him, nodding as she sat down.

Derion wrapped a gentle arm around her waist, kissing her hand weakly.

Aria smiled and leaned into him, gradually falling asleep. Before she fell asleep, she mumbled. "I like you like this too."

Derion blushed a little, smiling faintly. He listened to her sleep for a little before closing his eyes. It took him longer to fall asleep simply because of the pain, but he quickly fell asleep, white hair falling into his eyes, making him look almost child-like. He stilled, falling into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Aria didn't wake up till the morning, a little dazed.

Derion was still sleeping soundly. Most of his bruises were gone, and the huge cuts and gashes were mostly little cuts, though, his wings still looked pretty bad and he hadn't woken up yet.

Aria smiled and kissed his cheek gently, avoiding scratches and bruises.

Derion's hand twitched, but he did not stir. He stayed in this peaceful, deep, but dreamless sleep, recovering from the fight.

Aria smiled. "I guess I will have to let you sleep, you big baby." She said to him before sliding out of his embrace and going to see if she could scrape up some bacon and eggs.

Derion continued to sleep peacefully, not stirred by Aria's movements or words.

Aria walked into the kitchen, grabbing a pan, eggs, and bacon. She fired up the stove top and started making scrambled eggs and bacon.

Derion rolled onto his stomach, his wings almost covering him. Some of the smaller scratches seemed to be disappearing, but the worse injuries looked the same for now.

Aria continued to make eggs and bacon, taking her sweet time with it.

It took a few minutes, but the smell stirred Derion slightly. He mumbled softly, gingerly feeling around the bed. "Aria.." he whispered, smiling faintly. She was already up.

Aria had just finished cooking everything, and was setting it on plates so that when Derion woke up he could eat something, and then she had her plate.
