I will reply sometime tonight or when I get home tomorrow. My parents don't know that I brought my laptop with me to Orlando and I'm staying with them tonight, so...I may have one up.

@Jerelin hey hun I'm going to need you to reply by tomorrow night or maximus is going to have to move on

Sorry, Guys! I'll be working on posts for Elric and Rolfe today in between housework and studying.

In other news, I interviewed for my university's Social Work program on Tuesday. Feeling pretty confident about that! If I get in, I'm officially a Social Work major and one step closer to graduating.

((So, I typed this out a few hours ago and was wondering why I hadn't had any notifications. Came back to the thread and just saw it sitting here. Apparently I never clicked 'Post Reply' like I though.))

Name: Marcella Petri

Title: Vatican Missionary

Age: 21

Gender: ♀

Sexuality: Confused. Not set in stone.

Relationship Status: Single.

Species: Human, Werewolf.

Appearance:
joanofarc_wide-f7b5816568909668a0561319842f348e5063ed14-s6-c30.jpg
Height: 5'8"

Weight: 135 lbs

Clothing: Her casual clothes consists of tunics and sandals. On the rare formal occasions she attends, Marcella dons any regular dress she can borrow. She always wears rosary beads around her neck, tucked out of sight.

Inventory: A copy of the Bible inscribed in Latin.

Armour: Marcella wears a thick surcoat over a simple chainmail shirt. She wears a frogmouth helm made out of steel when needed. She carries a parma shield with the Vatican emblem imprinted on it. It is made of wood covered with a bronze coating. She wears tough leather pants and boots without additional armour.

Weapons: Marcella carries a partizan spear and a schiavona.

Distinguishing Features: Marcella conceals a large burn scar which stretches from her left shoulder to the elbow of her left arm and finishes on her left ribs [reason for burns to be explored through RP]. Her hair is noticeably short for a woman's and she strives to keep the rest of her body hairless. A facing bite mark remains on her right shoulder, along with a couple claw marks which is all that remains of her original werewolf attack.

Holdings: As a guard of the Vatican, Marcella owns no fiefs in Vanqland. She currently rents a tavern room and visits the local churches frequently.

House Emblem:
2000px-Emblem_of_the_Papacy_SE.svg.png

Notable relations: None in Vanqland.

Military Might: Her spear work is fine and her swordsmanship is that of an average soldier's, though slightly better in duels. She has no experience in a war, and the greatest amount of opponents she's faced at a time is four.
Influentially, Marcella is no one the Vatican would spare much gold or soldiers for which means her status as a potential hostage isn't that high. There is no immediate danger of her heading an uprising either as the throne isn't in her sights.
The only danger she poses is if her status as a werewolf is revealed, which would make her an appealing weapon for shadier folk.

Loyalties: Her loyalties lie primarily with God, the Vatican, and the Church though they are wavering as of late.

Bio:
Marcella Petri was born outside the borders of Vanqland and in the enclosed walls of Vatican City. Her parents were simple and devout Catholics who raised her as they had been raised. In short, Marcella's childhood was no different from any other in the city. However, things changed when she turned fourteen. The Vatican, being as enclosed as they were, had no reliable way of growing their own crops or gathering other supplies. As a result, the city opened its gates to a wide variety of merchants who often brought with them tall tales along with their goods.

Though her parents disliked Marcella speaking with them, they soon found her teenager spirit hard to control – Catholic upbringing or not. Her favourite past-time became talking with the various traders that made their way in and out of the city and through her gossips, Marcella had begun to rebel against her strict uprising. Skinwalkers in the forests beyond the seas, giant sea serpents in the oceans – these fantastical tales fed her the curiosity needed to distance herself from her teachings. It was due to this new line of behaviour she got bit.

One day during a Mass session, a bedraggled man had burst into the church, crying out about his sin of lycanthropy. She remembered it vividly, the way his skeletal hands had gripped the robes of the priest leading the ceremony. The way his skin was stretched across his dirty and unshaven face, like the waxy countenance of a corpse. The way he had spoken, words spilling out as half growls in his guttural tone. His fingernails were sharp and withdrawn into his hands and there was a feral gaze in his eyes. He seemed more animal than man and his haunted expression had struck a chord in her even as the guards promptly dragged him out.

Marcella had become more and more daring. It had taken her weeks to finally get the gumption to sneak out of her house, out of her city and into the freedom of the woods but she had done it with the help of the stranger's visit earlier that day. Entranced with the story he had spun, Marcella reached the area where he had spoken of, where a vicious beast was supposed to lurk. She knew exactly what he was – a werewolf. Many traders had spoken of these supernatural beings, especially the merchants from France and Germany.

Words weren't enough for Marcella at that point. She wanted to see something with her own eyes, something to prove to her that these stories were real. It didn't take long for her to verify the man's tales. Warned only by the snapping of twigs as the beast burst through the underbrush, Marcella could only manage to let out a blood-curdling scream before she blacked out.

She awoke a few days later in an infirmary in the city where her worried parents had deposited her. They suspected nothing supernatural about the attack, believing she had been mauled by a wolf. Though Marcella knew exactly what had attacked her in the back of her mind, she too wanted to believe that it had only been a wolf, that it had only been another one of the merchant's stories. Unfortunately, there had been no mistake.

A trusted priest, Father Terenzio, confirmed Marcella's suspicions and her greatest fears – lycanthropy was viewed along the steepest of sins. Because of the nature of her disease, he recommended to both Marcella and her parent's secrecy along with separation both policies which they reluctantly accepted.

Marcella began her new life with Father Terenzio on shaky ground. On one hand, he upheld his end of secrecy and never gave out her secret to the Vatican who would have surely had her killed. On the other hand, he proved to be quite fascinated with her condition. He owned stacks of scrolls and books concerning lycantrophes and other supernatural creatures and Marcella was the perfect test specimen for him. His twisted experiments weren't restrained to just her lycantrophy either but any complaints she made were squashed under his threats of revealing her true nature.

Around five months after the incident Marcella was first exposed to the full moon, triggering a rapid transformation that changed the young girl into a monstrosity. It was the first of many transformations that Father Terenzio would force Marcella to undergo, all for the sake of research. He wanted to see if there were any way he could induce transformations in Marcella without the moon and on her nineteenth birthday he made a breakthrough discovery – when draped in wolfskin Marcella found she could voluntarily transform into her werewolf form.

When she wasn't locked up as Terenzio's own guinea pig, he had her train as his personal guard and even had Marcella shave her own head to better masquerade as a man. Terenzio sought to use her abilities to capture other supernatural beings. Witches, vampires, boggarts and more – if there was a rumour, they would go investigate it. When she hit twenty one, Marcella was sent to Vanqland to investigate rumours of a vampire in the King's court without Terenzio for once as the old man had fallen ill.

Personality: Despite what her curse embodies, Marcella is a quiet and scared girl at her core. Though certainly not timid by any means, Marcella is hesitant to break her own boundaries and she keeps her old curiosity locked up inside her. She dislikes fighting and always seeks to use her words first before her spear.

Details about her Werewolf form:
5ARosHW.jpg

There are two known ways to induce transformation in Marcella. One of them is to expose her to the full moon and the other is to drape her in wolf skin. The first form, being more "pure", lasts until sunrise whereas the second lasts around two hours or so.

Marcella gains strength, speed, and durability beyond that of a wolf or man despite her appearance. However her mind gets robbed of all human thought making her nothing more than a mindless killing machine.

Her weakness to silver is doubled in her wolf-like form making it a very effective weapon against her.

Religious Views: Catholicism

Combat abilities: Skirmishes or one-on-one duels are what Marcella is most experienced in. She strives to make every fight end quickly so while one may not receive any mercy from her, they will not be tortured either. She is not experienced in mounted combat and is subpar with ranged weapons.

Skills: Marcella can read and write fluently in her three languages. She is better with her spear than her sword and through her books she knows a little bit of medicine.

Other: Speaks Italian, Latin, and English.
Silver is her main weakness and wounds left behind by these weapons take much longer time to heal.

A WIP. Early feedback is good.
Accepted! I feel realllyyy bad for Illia if this badass creature is after her.

Woop! I don't think Illia has much to fear though, Marcella's trying to drag this mission out as long as possible to avoid going back. :>

I'm back from Orlando and half awake, but I shall work on a few posts now.

Posted :) Haven't added much to the situation I'm afraid as I think we're all counting on Tristan's input.

I have John's post typed, but I'm waiting for @Jerelin to reply in case I need to change anything. On the other hand, I'll start working Fancis's post in a few minutes.
