Final -V- IC

The VTOL, while capable of rising above the storm, remained below its black ceiling throughout their trip. Despite being the pilot, Limov seemed content with letting the on board navigation system do most of the work. An occasional beep or ping earned Limov's attention for a split second from time to time, and he would lean forward and press a button or flip a switch before returning to his laid back seating arrangement.

"Aye, Miss Courtlandt. Ship has very fancy dampener. I like to call it 'chicken neck system'. Outside panels take brunt of force more often than not, and systems underneath get what they couldn't. I would lift us above clouds but where is fun in that? Would be waste of technology," he chuckled. The airship eventually reached closer to Japan's coastline, just on the horizon, and the storm had long since disappeared behind them. Bright sun shone upon a vast ocean with clear blue skies above. Limov was roused from his temporary slumber by a computerized female voice notifying him of their approaching destination. He grumbled and sat forward, taking control over the airship and flying it for the glimmering cityscape in the distance.

Yokohama was a sprawling metropolis of steel and concrete, preceded by a peninsula and massive bay. Skyscrapers dominated the landscape, obscuring the streets at the base of it all. The VTOL approached directly before turning off to the side for the East, revealing their final destination.

The Heavyware Factory was like a city in and of itself, stretching over miles of flat terrain and dotted with countless buildings of varying size. The main factory floor was the largest, situated in the direct center of it all. Surrounded by layers of gates, warehouses, and offices, it gave the final Five a good, long look at what they were up against before setting down at a nearby helipad. A couple miles from the factory's outer gates, they were, for the moment, in the clear and far from suspicion. Limov opened up the drop stairs and stepped outside into the bright sunlight.

"From here on out, you all are on own. John will be in contact with these," Limov said, handing out small earbuds for each of them. "You can hail cab outside the port and get ride as close as comfortable. If you all need evacuation I will be there quick-like!"

However the Final Five arrived at their destination, the exterior of Heavyware was gated only by barbed-wire fences and the occasional concrete portal. Officers sat at tollbooths to enter and exit through vehicles, but the immediate location was otherwise unguarded. With miles of fenceline, there were plenty of places to choose from -that is, unless they simply decided to go through a front gate.

Though the land was almost overwhelmingly complex, there were still distinguishable layers to the factory property. Warehouses of incremental numbers led closer to the factory, parking lots for delivery vehicles with signs pointing to specific locations, and numbered gates of increasingly tougher design all served to guide the Final Five were they needed to go.

The factory itself was at the end of it all, looming as the tallest building in the area save for sparse multi-floor offices. Running above the numerous buildings was a skyrail running persistently, linking from a tall station nearby the exterior and running in every direction, including to the factory beyond.

The Final Five's choices of entry were numerous.

Iphigenia gazed out the windows of the posh jet as it made its final approach over Yokohama. Much like Shanhu, high-rise buildings were the prevailing structures in view, arranged closely together in an almost dystopian manner. As the VTOL banked, a not too unfamiliar complex came into view. To Iphie, 'factory', campus', or even 'complex', seemed to be an understatement for the sprawling size of the Heavyware property. She'd always disagreed with their centralized philosophy of putting all their eggs in one basket. But in turn, it might end up hurting themselves. With such a large area, there was certainly no way to secure it all, and that was the ticket in for the five of them.

En-route and before disembarking, Iphigenia gave out her own thoughts and a rough plan for the minutiae of the operation. Standard operating procedure of certain things between companies and organizations were all too often very much alike, especially in something as practiced as security. To accompany this, she brought along lab coats for everybody as an option for disguise. After all, she said, "If we're going to break in, why not do it in style?"

If they were to have a remote chance of getting in detected, she had reasoned, they'd have to fool the checkpoint guards before she could override any sort of system security. Engineers and scientists would be most sensible characters to pose as; privileged, but not too high-ranking to be immediately identified.

With that in mind though, they would have to improv unless they mugged some poor researchers for the ID cards in an alley somewhere. Iphie had her own ID she could try to flash herself and the others through with, but on close inspection, it would clearly say 'Courtlandt' and not 'Heavyware.' Once they were inside, though, that's where they truly would have to wing it. A good portion of the buildings inside were a mystery to anybody outside the company.

Iphie threw on the white lab coat as she disembarked. Her hair had been adjusted; her side-tail was undone and replaced by a regular ponytail, and as an almost cliché effect, was also donning a pair of rimless glasses. Glancing at the earpiece she'd received in her hand with a raised eyebrow, she fitted it into her left ear before pausing to look at the cityscape from the edge of the helipad.

"Shall we hire a cab or shall we walk? Five of us in a car is going to be cramped. On the other hand, if we walk, there's a chance we can pick up some useful cues on the way."

Wide-eyed, Runa squealed in pleasant surprise at the presentation of lab coats. "Holy crap, you can just buy these," she asked in complete surprise. "This is so frigging cool." She happily threw it on over her clothes and pranced around, her ahoge wagging happily.

They Five had a ways to go, and a few options for getting there, from the flyby and their drop-off a few miles away, further from any prying eyes at the Heavyware complex. "Hmm...I vote for walking. We've all got legs that work just fine, and i don't think time's a huge concern, is it?" She thought about the situation a bit more. "A taxi's not really any better for trying to sneak through the front gate anyway, so I say we get in some other way." And once they were actually through the fence, they'd just have to avoid more than passing scrutiny, never mind that they hardly looked like typical workers, most likely.

Taking the proffered lab coat with a nod, Jin-Sun took a moment to activate his Illusion Drive, generating the hologram of a relatively non-descript Japanese man over himself as his disguise before putting the lab coat on. It gave the hologram a degree of authenticity, since at least the lab coat was solid enough to touch.

"Let's walk. We're in luck, anyway." He said, pointing at the throng of workers exiting the compound. "It's lunch hour. Shouldn't be too hard to swipe a few ID cards while standing in line behind a worker in a fast food joint. Good thing those VR training modules they forced me through had one on sleight-of-hand. Give me ten minutes." He muttered, ducking into a nearby McDonald's, where a line had begun to form. He stepped in the back of one of the lines leading up to the three registers, noting that the man in front of him was clearly some kind of white collar worker, but wasn't wearing any ID tag on a lanyard. Probably in his wallet, then. Easy enough. A quick five-finger discount later and Jin-Sun slipped the man's leather wallet into his lab coat's pocket before heading out of line and out of the restaurant, faking a phone call as he did so. Jin-Sun only pulled the wallet back out a good distance away from the restaurant, checking inside until he confirmed that there was an ID card in the wallet. Perfect.

A ramen stall and a Chipotle later, and Jin-Sun had five ID cards to his name as he returned to the others, ducking into a nearby alley to change his hologram to someone with a different facial structure and eye shape, just in case someone had noticed him pickpocketing. He shucked the lab coat off as well. He wouldn't be needing it for the disguise he was taking.

"I got the ID cards." He said to the others as he returned, his voice still recognizable to them. "I'll take the maintenance guy's. They're usually let into everywhere just to fix things. Take your pick of the rest." Jin-Sun said, handing the stacked cards over.

Well, good thing Iphie had the foresight to bring an XL-size lab coat, if nothing else. Draping it over his body, Tian-Gui grinned at how much it felt like a badass cloak, sharing Runa's enthusiasm for this new costume change. It would have been nice if Iphie brought some phony black-rimmed glasses as well, to complete the nerd look, but, well, it'd do. Looked like their cyborg ninja had the ability to project holograms as well, which definitely helped to turn him from an edgy science-ninja into an unassuming 9-to-5 employee.

It even helped him steal wallets, something that would have impressed Tian-Gui more if it wasn't for the fact that such an act was such an unjust action. Though it was for the greater good, and it wasn't like Jin-Sun was tapping their cards for more carbs, the giant of the Final Five caught every deft movement, and it simply didn't sit well for him.

Ultimately, though, Tian-Gui took one of the IDs that their latest member snatched, nodding his head. They had a means of entrance now, and, thankfully enough, he could at least pass off as the person in the photo. Black, short hair and blue eyes. Hopefully they didn't have biometrics scanners as well.

"Well, if we're going to walk, might as well start walking now. Got a ways to go, after all. Hopefully those people don't report their IDs as missing and void them before we can use it, right? But then it might be a good idea to take a taxi after all."

After all, missing a wallet was a pretty noticeable thing, especially in a period of time where they'd be actively using it.

"T-Thank you." Kyouko was surprised at the sudden appearance of her kinda-idol. While 'I'm not hungry.' would have been the appropriate line, some classical sounds of her stomach - despite the earlier chips - denied her any room for arguing. "I-It's not really strength training." She said, shaking her head. "But you're right." Taking nearly the entire cup down in one go, just so she could use her ability once more to heal a certain degree of burn, she threw the can to the side before standing up. "Alright, let's get this p- mffhhh!" Just to be interrupted by a Lab Coat thrown into her face.

Despite a lab coat being awesome by default, and enough for Kyouko to not bitch at Iphie for interrupting her in her supposed-to-be moment, Kyouko was less enthusiastic than her new bestest friend. "..." After all, pretty much all lab-coats were the same anyways, so it wasn't too surprising it looked like what her father wore. Shaking her head she quickly put the coat on before posing in an overdramatic fashion. Putting her arm around Runa to pull her closer she pointed towards the sky, ready to drop more silly lines.

"..."
Despite the expected however, nothing was coming, and instead Kyouko gave the girl a hug. "Runa, stay the way you are and always fight for Justice, okay?" Patting her head she continued. "You're a good girl." With that done, Kyouko was now actively linking herself into their ongoing strategy. "I don't mind walking." Taking one of the IDs - fitting enough belonging to some sort of apprentice - she continued. "Well, I am sure Miss 'Laura Redenfeld' won't get anywhere much alone, so I'll tag along with one of my seniors!"

And so, they walked. In lab coats. Up to the front gates of the facility. Save for climbing over the fence, their only option inside was straight through the security checkpoint at the outside. The surrounding roads were devoid of sidewalks, made up of well-kept asphalt and unkempt dirt ditches at their sides. Only weeds survived in the desolate earth here. The trek was long, but they eventually made it to a security gate. A single guard booth stood in their way, along with a boom barrier. The guard inside was relaxed, reading something from a magazine and listening to electronic music on the radio. As they approached, he lifted up from his recline and looked at them with temporary confusion. Opening up the glass window he called out to them as they circled around to the boom barrier.

"Walking huh? You lucky bastards get such long lunch times. But why the walk- wait, don't tell me; playing Jogomon Go right?" He stood up fully and leaned on the windowsill, waiting for something. Looking inside, the scanner he used was obvious. Hooked up to a computer that was undoubtedly a part of the facility's network, it appeared only a barcode was necessary to get past the checkpoint. Fortunate that Jin-sun had the mind to take advantage of lunch hour. As they handed their badges, he took them all at once and swiftly scanned them one by one, placing them on the windowsill in turn for them to pick up. Without another word, he pressed a button to lift up the boom barrier, despite them not being in a car.

"Have a nice day," he said pleasantly. Beyond the checkpoint was a tremendous parking lot, seemingly half full during the lunch hour. Centered in the middle of a large number of slots was a raised station. Several monorails extended from the top and curved off further into the facility. There was at least two miles of walking between them and the factory at the center of it all.

Runa returned the hug, in part with her hair wrapping around Kyouko's waist momentarily. "Okaaay~" she answered the other girl's request. "I'm not gonna stop fighting for justice and stuff." Her ahoge wagged as smiled and giggled in a satisfied manner when Kyouko patted her head. "You're good, too." Sure, Kyouko didn't seem like some super-badass who could punch holes in walls or shoot mind lasers or whatever, but the girl had her heart firmly in the right place. And she helped so much with school. She was already Runa's hero, often enough.

Runa didn't pay much attention to her own pilfered ID, beyond that it matched something approaching her gender. She couldn't change her appearance to match more closely, so why bother worrying about who this person looked like, anyway. The walk toward the compound was uneventful, beyond some idle chatter on her part to the other members of the team. "So, like, what sort of crazy stuff do you think they do in there? It's gotta have something crazy if they're bringing monster bits there, right?" The weather, be it too hot or too cold, didn't bother her at all, to the point she'd hardly even break a sweat. Maybe only fringe benefits, but being an all-weather girl definitely had its perks.

Runa tried not to pay much attention to the guards, because gawking like a tourist would just ruin the illusion. Act like you fit in and stuff, she told herself. Play it cool... The mention of Jogomon Go demanded her attention, and broke her attempt at the cool act. "Oh, yeah, it's totally great~" she even dug out her phone to check the app, now that she was reminded of it. Never mind that she didn't actually have it running before. "Holy shit, there's a lot of 'em around here," she exclaimed. "Hm...some rare ones, too. Check it out." She leaned in toward Kyouko to show her the results of the game's usual recon.

It was certainly warm, and the trek was certainly long, but Tian-Gui certainly enjoyed the walk. The sunshine, the vast lands, the flat horizon, all of it was rather enjoyable. Though verdant expanses were nice, something could be said about the zen-like appeal of asphalt and dirt, as well as the hardiness of weeds. Honestly, it felt like it ended too soon, and before the gorilla in a lab coat noticed it, they were standing in front of the security checkpoint.

Smiling at the guard, Tian-Gui stylishly flicked over his (stolen) nadge, as Runa showed off her latest cellphone game addiction. Augmented reality applications that made a point of getting people to go outside in order to play, huh? What a novel idea…if it wasn't for the fact that you could also just do that without seeing the world through your phone. "Have a nice day as well," he replied airily, before herding in his juniors through the checkpoint, regardless of any protests about needing time to throw Jogoballs at rare Jogomons.

"Well then, Melinda," Tian-Gui turned towards Iphie, "Got an idea of which rail to aim for? Can't be late after all, and it looked like there isn't a physical map of their transit network."

Probably cause all these scientists wore Moogle Glass or something.

"Well, of course," shrugged Iphigenia. "They're not even very expensive, fifteen pounds give or take on Amazon, and those are retail prices."

The now scientific-looking girl was not against walking at all. She was against mulling around, though, following Jin-Sun all the way to the McDonald's, where she noticed a Bubble Tea House. Being the ultimate duty of an Asian tea drinker, Iphigenia found herself ducking into this branch instead of the McDonald's, ordering herself a regular bubble milk tea before returning to the group to meet up with their light-fingered cyborg.

His return under a different disguise was unexpected, but not unusual. Taking one of the proffered cards with a subtly raised eyebrow, she flipped the plastic pass over several times. "Neat." It seemed Jin-Sun had a good eye for picking targets; while she disagreed with the girl's name, she looked like a mixture of Caucasian and Asian, and with some hand-waving, she could pass it off as a bad picture day. The details of a Heavyware ID card were interesting for her though, and as the others examined their cards, she took photographs and an NFC reading of the card before slipping it into the breast pocket of her white coat.

"Right now, we should hurry. Before they all put in their lost ID reports."

--

The walk was uneventful. Actually making it to the security gate was something else, though, but Iphie was confident in the matter. The guard was unsuspecting; he even made small talk about a new game, Jogomon Go. She had it on her phone, but hadn't done much with it besides muck around with trying to catch some Jogomon with her lady's maid back at home, but it was enough to make small talk about it. Again, Jin-Sun gained further respect points from Iphigenia at his smooth move, shooting him a "nice" after they casually passed through the gate.

At Tian Gui's question, she sipped her bubble tea and tilted her head. "Right now, Dr. Deng. Since we actually came in through the front gate instead of the guest entrance, it should be the fairly obvious one right there," she continued, pointing at a ground-level monorail station entrance up ahead and to their right.

"With some luck, according to the map John provided, our destination is the terminus. I can't say much about the security at that building, though."

...People still played Jogomon Go? The app was a buggy, broken piece of crap with incompetent developers. Hell, it was a bigger stain on the Jogomon series than the recent console games. Honestly, Jin-Sun figured that the hype would have died down by now. Oh, well. He had more important things to worry about right now. Like making it to the Thremont sisters.

"Getting onto the monorail shouldn't be a problem." He murmured quietly. "The ID cards come with monorail passes on the back. But like John said, finding them once we get in will be the hard part. We'll be relying on you, Melinda." He nodded at Iphie. "I've got a backup plan, but let's hope it doesn't come to that." Jin-Sun said, voice barely above a whisper in case there was any electronic communication listening in. He paused for a moment.

"How many of you are chipped?" He broadcast over what he'd been informed was the Final Five's telecom chip frequency.

Wow, with the guard playing Jogomon Go too 'Charlotte', as Kyouko's name was now, felt nearly bad about this whole justice-heist. "Yeah, just yesterday I catched a Schiggy! And it wasn't even close to a lake or something!" The brunette responded as she also leaned closer towards Runa to take a look at her smart phone. "Wooah! If only we had the time to catch some of those." She proclaimed, maybe they would even find the legendary Jogomon Wauone.

As they continued their walk, out of the hearing range of the guard, Kyouko looked at the Tin-Can. "I'm not even twenty!" With that hopefully being clear enough of a no she now moved closer to Tian, linking her own arm with the giant while giving her bestest impression of some sort of awkward groupie. "Seeeennpppai, you're going to show me around the paramater just as you promised, won't yooouuu~~?" Complete with a stupid playful giggle that sounded rather scary - considering it came from her.

"Yeah, shame we've got stuff to do," Runa said sadly to Kyouko as she put her phone away. She kept pace with the others as they walked, and laid out the plan to hit the monorail and just wing it from there. Well, or they had a plan, which was hoping they could get in. The hard part would be finding anyone inside a big facility, particularly once security got wise.

"I don't have any plan, so I'll just follow your leads," she said, to add something to the conversation. Jin-Sun's telecomm question caused her to tilt her head as if curiously listening to something, then give him a look, shake her head, and tap one ear. It was hopefully enough to answer that she was only using one of their standard earpieces. Small to be sure, but not quite as convenient as a chip in your head. She'd have...complications in installing such a device anyway.

While Kyouko played up the whole idol-worship angle, Runa did her best to keep a straight face and just walk along with the others like she belonged there. She had the distinct feeling that no amount of bluster would be able to hide her youth, but it was better to just rely on not being studied too closely and be done with it. She always heard that's how this stuff worked. Act cool and all that. She was still better at not being seen.

The way up to the monorail was a simple escalator, and a number of employees found themselves in front of and behind the Final Five as they ascended. Busy looking at their phones or chattering on them with someone else, they didn't seem the least bit interested in them. At the top, there was a glass wall surrounding the terminal, and the track sat just outside a line of translucent sliding doors. In the distance, the tram could be seen returning to their station at a modest pace.

There were at least a dozen employees of varying walks waiting around them, on benches or standing about with suitcases or purses. As the monorail approached, they began to pack around the entrance until the sliding doors opened up and they filed in with relative civility. The Final Five entered in suit and found themselves a line of seats quietly. The custom in public transit, of course, was to keep silent or at least very quiet. After a few moments the doors closed and the tram was off.

'This tram is bound for Central Facility South Gate' an electronic, feminine voice said, before repeating in several other languages.

It took only a second for the group to notice someone staring quite intently on them, in particular Runa and Kyouko. Another girl, clearly of similarly young age, was sitting opposite their seating arrangement towards the other end of their car. She, too, sported a lab coat, and was clearly interested in their being there. The tram took several minutes to reach the factory floor, passing through heavy gated walls that stood as tall as the monorail track itself. Though it was "only two floors" the factory was still quite tall, seeming as if each floor (from the outside) was at least four stories in height.

The tram curved alongside the building, riding right up to its walls such that the exit from the tram led right into its interior. As they exited, the girl employee from inside the tram stopped them short.

"Wow wow wow. I didn't know we got two more like me!" she said ecstatically, practically jumping up and down. "What's your name? I'm Ling Ling! I work in the robotics department, what about you?" Just beyond the girl was a final security checkpoint to truly enter the building, though it presented itself as merely being a card-scanner with a small gate anyone could easily hop over. Beyond that was a series of three hallways leading to the other corners of the building.

Tian-Gui smiled (though it was a bit strained) when Kyouko latched herself around his arm, playing up the role of a frisky intern. Tapping the back of his head, where a surgical scar still remained, he broadcasted, "Chipped over here."

With that, Mr. Deng lead the way to the monorail, doing his best to ignore the hard sensation of Kyouko's ribs pressed against his arms. "Charlotte," he said, once other white-coats were nearby, "You're at work now. Stay professional, ok?" Before he could chide the hyperactive girl further, though, the monorail arrived, doors opening with a hiss. With two quick strides, he walked in and remained standing as it took off, watching the scenery as the tram silently glided over the tracks.

Well, also to ignore the Chinese girl who was staring at the Final Five from the opposite end. Was the situation comprised already? Was he going to have to karate chop the back of her neck?

Thankfully, it didn't come to that at all, as it looked as if Ling-Ling was simply happy that there were too other young girls working for the Thremonts. A child prodigy, eh? How amazing, especially considering how Tian-Gui never even got a degree for himself. And robotics department as well, huh? One of the more prominent departments within Heavyware Industries.

This could be good.

"Ah," he said, pushing up his fake glasses, "There's a bit of a misunderstanding here. Charlotte and Chloe are here as interns, all the way from Cornell University. Was planning on introducing them to the Big Three, but, well, it'd be unprofessional of me to call them just for that purpose. Would you happen to know where we'd be able to chance upon them, Ling-Ling?"

It was a good thing Tian stepped in, or Runa would have introduced herself with her actual name. Instead, she just followed his lead. "Um, yeah. I'm Chloe. Nice to meetcha." She leaned forward and extended a hand, offering a shake. Ling-Ling accepted, receiving a very firm, but gentle grip as Runa pulled her forward a bit, before letting go.

"I'm really new, so I don't know what I'll be doing yet. Robotics sounds really cool, though. What kinda stuff do you get to work on?" She was genuinely curious.

Iphigenia searched for the small, phone-charger port sized chip in her inner jacket pocket. Finding it, she released it once again into her pocket and glanced at Jin-Sun. Her set of abilities meant that such a chip only need to be in close proximity to work, as opposed to all the others that required surgery to integrate the function into their body. "I'm not, but this will do," she broadcasted in turn.

Making their way up to the station, Iphigenia remarked to herself and over the chip's channel that it looked like they'd done well with their disguises. It really did look like they worked there, and taking the monorail felt like any other public transport in London, Shanhu, or anywhere else. To complete the experience, Iphie settled into a seat to browse her phone, even checking her ever-increasing pile of emails in her various accounts.

Quickly, Iphigenia caught onto the intense stare and breach of etiquette of a young girl opposite the five of them. She considered passive-aggressively tutting at the black-haired girl, but was quickly smothered by her friendliness before she could do anything else. It seemed her focus was on the two younger members of their group. Iphie was on an edge; had one of the two done something to give them away? After listening to her some more, however, it seemed to be more of an inane fascination towards the two than suspicion, and some of her tenseness faded away.

She didn't like the unnecessary attention, but the purple-haired girl realized that they could take advantage of this, especially if Ling Ling was so quick to give her name.

"I'm Melinda," said Iphigenia finally, with a pleasant wave. She recalled the details of her recently acquired ID card. "I work in engineering. Are you new in Robotics, Ling Ling?"

Jin-Sun resisted the urge to curse out loud when some overly-friendly girl came over, trying to start a conversation. The longer any of them talked, the greater the risk of someone slipping up and revealing they were ignorant of whatever happened within the company. That would raise suspicion on them.

The disguised cyborg quickly changed his voice modulator to something deeper, opening his mouth.

"Excuse me, coming through. Gotta get back on shift." He muttered, brushing past the group as he started heading towards the monorail entrance.

"Don't worry, I'm scouting up ahead." Jin-Sun hooked his communications through the earbud communicators John had given them, broadcasting to the group. "Iphie, there'll be a terminal up ahead on the left, next to the water fountain."

"Huh?" For a second, Kyouko was confused at the sudden approach. Did they already bust? Alas, it quickly turned out that this girl, named 'Ling Ling', seemed rather happy about co-workers of the same age. Before Kyouko could make sure that Runa would say anything too stupid, her Senpai already took the initiative. Her face darkened as she thought about Miku for a second, Kyouko could only hope that this Ling Ling girl was truly only a researcher here - rather than being abused for her childish innocence.

Regardless, Kyouko never had problems talking with strangers, and what reasons did she have to behave too much different from her usual nature? Raising her hand as a greeting, the girl replied with a cheerful smile. "Yo! I am Charlotte Sharld, nice to meet'cha! Cute name you got there." Apparently, Tian already made up a plan about simply confronting the hag-sisters themselves - or at least get to know their positions. Hopefully, Ling Ling would play along, though Kyouko was clearly worried. Considering how big this company was, there was no way those bigshots would take their time for some supposed-to-be noname interns like themselves, and while it was true that Ling Ling was a child she was most likely smarter than all of them together.

For a brief second, Ling Ling appeared upset that the two younger girls were only interns, but roused up the selfsame cheer she just had. "That's awesome! You want to work here? We make so much cool stuff!" she said proudly. She listened further to Tian after interrupting, nodding with a neutral face.

"Eh? The Big Three? Are you fans of them or something? Hm... I can't say I like all of them, but..." she shrugged, turning back to the halls. "I know they're here for some meetings. There's been a rumor around this week, you haven't heard?" When none of them affirmed, she dropped her hands onto her hips and shook her head.

"Hm I guess it's only a thing in the robotics section. Anyways there's this rumor that a big announcement will happen today about whatever stuff they've got working in the basement sectors." Ling Ling thrust out her chest and prodded it with a thumb proudly. "I made some of the parts for the stuff down there myself! A really big joint, so they must be making a really big robot down there, I know it!" She pouted. "But they of course won't tell me what it really is. Top secret and all that. That's how it's been for most of us."

Ling Ling straightened up and shrugged again. "Maybe you'll catch them at the announcement, if it actually happens. Otherwise I think you're best bet is to just look for them in one of the office buildings outside. I gotta get back to work!" she said with a wave. "I hope you two like what you see here!" she shouted to 'Chloe and Charlotte'.
