Because badass gods fighting all super crazy is god damn awesome. This theme is just godly.

One of my favourite games of 2012, man this OST was fuckin god like.

Halo had an amazing OST.
Mass Effect had one too.
Elder Scrolls hasn't disappointed yet. (Not counting ESO.)
Starbound had a totally fitting soundtrack.
Rimworld is cool and definitely fits with the Firefly feeling the dev was going for.

And who can forget WindWaker's ditty of an opening?

Man, you basically mentioned everything I was going to say with Halo, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, and Starbound.

I do want to throw in Assassin's Creed, especially Black Flag. Black Flag is one of those games where I can listen to the soundtrack on my iPod regularly.


And there's a LOT of neat shanties and folk tunes, such as:

Dude. This song, this fucking song, sent chills down my spine as a kid and it still does to this very day. I abso-freakin'-lutely love it.

I'm looking forward to hearing it in the 3DS remake, whenever that comes out.

I've heard Drunken Sailor by about ten different bands and it doesn't get any less catchy.
