As Isaac was growing up his family was mostly normal. Sure, his father spent too much time at work for his taste, but his mother tried her best to compensate for it. So even if Isaac's father usually missed things like a school play(where he played the very prestigious role of Singing Flower #3) or bring your parents to work day, he was fine. Because at the end of the day, his mom would cheer for him the loudest and came to every event(such as the time she described her job of working with computers to his class in a way that sounded freaking awesome). And when his father did come, it was just that much better.
Unfortunately, life can take a turn for the worst. In this case, the worst was a drunk speeding his truck into the driver's side of Leila's car. She was killed instantly. Things nearly spiraled out of control from there. Matthew became more reclusive and buried himself under his work. Isaac became depressed and attempted to isolate himself from the rest of the world. Fortunately, his sister never allowed him to succeed in doing so. If he tried to spend all day in his room, she barged right on in and made herself comfortable, prepared to comfort him with affection or take his mind off things by playing his favorite games or binging on anime. So despite the circumstances, he broke through the depression within a few months.

I can easily see Isaac being great friends with Marina, so yeah, best friends would work. Friends with both Noah and Aery would also work well, Isaac would probably also look up to them since they're both a year above him in theater. Especially Aery, I feel like their personalities mesh really well. I can see him being friends with Emma. And I could see him being friendly with any of the others except maybe Kyle. Isaac could probably easily annoy him, and if Kyle were to snap at Isaac or someone else he's friends with I could see him just being like "Wow...you may be attractive, but you're literally the worst" and just hold a grudge. XD

Shadow_Snow_Storm, my goal when I put my post up was to either have Isaac run into Aery in the hallway or head to mess hall and hangout with Mari, but if you want, he could run into either of your characters.

Looking at them, I think he would probably get along with Jasmine(though he would probably have no idea what she was talking about when it came to cars and whatnot XD) except for the fact that she dislikes cheerleaders, which Mari is, but that could be a neat friendship juggle thing. Unfortunately, he would probably view Isabella as being kinda creepy, although he would probably also hold some respect for her since she is a senior in the same trade as him. =)

Adonai, how do you think Isaac and August will get along? They're roomies, both take archery, and they're in the Game Time club together, so they're going to be around each other a ton. They are similar in some ways but also clash in others, personality wise. I actually have no idea how they'll respond to each other. XD I can see them being anything from not really getting along to good friends, or even Isaac developing a crush. It's interesting.
