Every world has a parallel of itself, one that can be completely unpredictable and as similar or different as itself. Each planet has one, filled with different histories and timelines, species, and land formations. They run the parallel to each other, having completely different outcomes but given the same amount of resources. Earth is no exception.

Earth as you know, is moving along their lives, quickly advancing technology, living their daily, mundane routines, completely oblivious to life outside their little shell that they call Earth. Despite that, they move at an alarming rate, doing more with what they are given than most other lifeforms that seem to have died out almost instantly. Humans truly are an adaptable race, creating any landscape one that they can inhabit.

It was only a matter of time however that they would find the need to expand out of their own earth and explore what's beyond the horizon. Working as if they were possessed, they quickly managed to figure out space travel and even make their first attempt at exploring the idea of parallel dimensions. It came as a slow idea, but then it grew like a parasite. They began running small tests and experiments. It then bloomed into a full blown government project; top secret of course.

In a miraculous time span of 30 years, they managed to create a window to their world. For the first time they took a peek into a world that mirrored theirs. Surprisingly, they were centuries behind on technology, using weapons of steel and fantastical magic. A world that favored magic over Earth's science. They had named it "Magicae Campi", the magic plains.

The government began working on a way into this alternate reality. Meanwhile, they began to assemble a small first response team to make contact with the inhabitants. They took members of every walks of life to form a small team that would adapt to the conditions of the new world, and also the inhabitants that may or may not be hostile to such foreigners.

A decade later the project was finished, still managed to be hidden from the eyes of the public. The team was finally assembled, under the codename: Crimson Wing. The team was considered a black ops group that could be denied responsibility by any government. The portal itself was unstable at best and was completely unpredictable, but humanity's curiosity held them tight in their grips. The lust for knowledge drove them to enter the new world without further hesitation.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As the player, you are a member of this black ops group venturing into the Magicae Campi.
Everyone in the group has to have been chosen for being able to contribute to the team, a specialty. As a member of the Crimson Wing you are a human with extraordinary skills in a new and possibly dangerous environment. You know next to nothing about the new world and can just barely communicate with the inhabitants.
As an inhabitant of Magicae Campi, you can either help or hinder this new group of humans. What being an inhabitant means that you can be any fantastical creature, possessing the power of might and magic, relying on "ancient" weaponry imbued with magic.
Rules
1. No godmodding and such
2. No one liners. About a paragraph per post
3. You can either be a member of the team or be a member of the Magicae Campi
4. Respect the other players
Name: Lyrene " Rayne "
Age: 183 ( though looks like an average 19 year old girl )
Race:
'Gashadokuro' it's a kind of demon that summons the dead remaining around her and form a large skeleton, from the ground the head could be seen and its arms the rest would be underground already. While this is in process she would be lying down the ground her eyes being dark as ever, part of this her spirit would be in the skeleton controlling it. Around her was violet mist that avoids the people around from touching her unless that person would happen to be a demon too.
Crimson Wing or Inhabitant: Inhabitabitant
Weapon: She doesn't have one
Skills: Vector Arrow, her only ability when she doesn't turn to her demon form 'Gashadokuro', this ability starts when Raynes eyes would turn dark also her surroundings. It is an ability where dark arrows connected to her body moves around following the target, once she uses this it would cause large amount of energy from her own body.
Bio: Rayne was a demon that had somehow human features, whitish pink hair tied on both sides and bright pink eyes. Her usual outfit was a green long sleve shirt which was really loose for her to wear, white shorts that had a long rose with thorns as a belt. She always have a light pink blanket around her that made her look like a little kid. Her appearance made her look like a normal sweet human once you look at it, but shows a plain blank expression once someone talks to her and it wasn't that expected.
She may look as innocent as a human being but she's not even close to that, once she found out some 'foreigners' had enter the land she was quite against it and wanted to attack them as well. Every time she see's those humans she would use one of the arrows in her body to grab them and squish them like a bug, although somewhere inside her knew that maybe they came here with a good purpose that's when she accepted them little by little. There were some parts where she was tempted to hurt them, well let's say she tried her best to ignore it.
Before those humans came to the island, her usual routine was to roam around and make sure all were in safe protection. For a demon she had a soft heart when it comes to someone or something else, she makes sure everything's in tact and perfect like it always had been.
okay maybe I didn't clarify. I wrote this up when I was really tired. Bio is exactly what it sounds like. They're biography and life events. I also include the image or description of the character.
I do like your character though. Also, I'll get mine up sometime soon.
EDIT: I realized that my initial summary was all over the place, but I guarantee that I'll clear it up as the RP moves on.
Name: Ahri Tsukiyomi
Age: 14
Race: Loup-Garou(Werewolf basically...) Can take on a human form, a half half form, or full wolf form but it's a bit bigger than a normal wolf
(I'll list more later when I have an idea)
Bio: Ahri Tsukiyomi was once an innocent young human girl. Until one night, she traveled off away from the trainging grounds at night and was taken away by a fellow Loup-garou. They bit her to turn her to a loup-garou but only made her half half(making her able to turn into human as well). She was terrorized in fear but when they knocked her out, she forgot all memory of that and thought her whole life was spent as a loup-garou Her parents didn't attempt to look for her so they continued on thinking they never had a child..
Soon, the loupx-garou attacked a near by human village in search for food. While there, she aquired the bow and arrow and katanas. When she got them, she remembered the training from when she was a child so she easily caught on and started using her human form for fights.
HandyMan.png
Name: "Engy" (Real name has been changed so many times the government might even have lost track.)
Age: 34
Race: Human
Crimson Wing: Mechanic, and explosives expert
Weapon: Bazooka, small pistol, various explosives such as TNT, and hand grenades.
Skills:
Handyman, He was good from engineering, to mechanics, to robotics. If you had something broken, weather it be the foundation of your house or your car he could fix it.
Explosives expert, Being an engineer and an architect really helps when trying to blow something up. If you need a building knocked down you call on him.
Driving, Not only is he good with fixing cars, he is good with driving them too. Through out his life he had many experiences and part of it was racing anything he could make a quick buck doing.
Bio: He had always been a man that liked the ladies, though he wasn't exactly a ladies man. He always had an interest in impressing them which only lead to heart break and a couple of cans of bear. He was a bad alcoholic for a while. He started off his life by dropping out of school and learning carpentry which led him to building houses and doing carpet installation or whatever else needed to be done. After that he realized how much money electricians made and learned that as well as plumbing. After becoming successful with that he managed to quit drinking and went back to highschool. By the age of 27 he had become an architect and after a year he got into racing and bought himself a car. He won alot and managed to pick up a couple of hillbilly race chicks... which really were a different bread of girls all together. He still was as hopeless with 'normal' girls as he always was. After racing for a while in NASCAR he retired. In his short couple years racing he had won the daytona 500 and other large races multiple times as well as learned how to fix a car. He spent most of his free time figuring out how to make his car just a little bit better. Now that he was bored and retired he started to play with explosives in the sand dunes of the desert until the government found him. They had been tracking him for years but because of his constant habit of changing his name they found it difficult. They hired him as a demolitions man but soon found out he wasn't only good with blowing things up. He was shown pictures of strange buildings and was asked if he could both improve uppin them and blow them to bits. Just because he now had time after retiring from the military he built the house just to show them he could then blew it up with two small sticks of dynamite. That was enough to convince them into hiring him for a mission called Crimson Wing. At first he declined but then said yes when he was offered some cash and shown a picture of their assassin. It wasn't a scare tactic, he just thought she was hot.
Thank you guys, just a little more players :D
I'm sort of done with mine. I will fix gramer and spelling when I get the chance. How is it?
Yeah, I like it. Now if we could just get a little more players >.>
Would it possible in this to be a meta human on the team?
Metahuman meaning, humans with mutagens in his genetics, kind of like the first step towards the next evolution of human beings ya feel me?
*strokes non-existant beard* Perhaps...
Post a CS and I'll see if it checks out.
Codename: CHARLOTTE Designation 42, or "C42", or sometimes "Charlotte" (Charged Hardline And Riot Land Over Terrain Technical Escort, the name of her volunteer mech program)
Age: 26
Race: Mechanized Human
Crimson Wing or Inhabitant: Crimson Wing
Weapon: Mounted Gattling Gun and Explosive Gauss Cannon
Skills: CHARLOTTE volunteers are, aside from their obvious mech prowess, highly skilled in mech hacking and target recognition, as well as hand-to-hand combat.
Bio: Born Felicia Orson, C42 volunteered at age fourteen upon learning of a critical illness to take part in a volunteer mechanized experimentation program. It took the military some time to coax her parents into allowing them to take her away. Without the program, C42 would've died of her illness without the cyberphage injected into her to not only quickly kill damages to her equilibrium, but also allow her to quickly and easily form non-intrusive external links to mechanized equipment such as her CHARLOTTE Walker. The CHARLOTTE program was started to allow fatally sick teens and young adults to serve the military after a few years from the start of volunteering, and while some volunteers don't make it past the injection of the cyberphage, the government accepts no liabilities, as all participants are volunteers, and those eligible who do not volunteer remain exempt from selective service. Most CHARLOTTE volunteers are, big surprise, extremely light and/or unmuscular, and are trained from cyberphaging in certain skills to use this to their advantage. CHARLOTTE volunteers who survive and are then educated according to military standards are given a choice of equipment to use, including, but not limited to, C42's CHARLOTTE Walker-4, a Quadrupedal, all-terrain tank used to protect the user and either provide suppressing fire, or perform crowd control, and the CHARLOTTE Dasher-2, a 2WD, bi-pedal, all-terrain scouting vehicle used to get places quickly, fitted with a mechanized sniper rifle and anti-personnel caliber machine guns. The Dasher-2, being the lighter of the two, and the most mobility-minded, is capable of jumping to higher areas, while the Walker-4 would require a jumpjet upgrade, although being quadrupedal, it can easily climb ledges. C42 chose the Walker-4 for the Crimson Wing mission on Magicae Campi in case she came across certain large predators. She also asked a Dasher-2 be air-dropped in if they ever set up a permanent encampment, but she often feels the military can be unreliable on these services.
CHARLOTTE Walker-4 Mech, cab open
556649_476407422416083_1502485609_n.png
Anti-personnel and anti-armor/-aircraft mech weighing around 700 pounds unmanned. The pilot is required to lie down with their arms holding on to heartbeat sensors in order for the hull to seal, thus leaving most of its weight dedicated to armor and armament. Mechanics are complex, but minimalistic, the most complex parts being in the legs, so it can be considered an all-terrain vehicle. While the user receives a neural feed from the cyberphagic equipment, they are simply required to send brain signals through the cyberphagic helmet/HUD to move the mech. Inside a CHARLOTTE mech, the brain's conscious sensations are filtered into the mech, and in order to use their bodies again, they must unseal the mech.
CHARLOTTE Dasher-2 mech
still_a_mech_by_progv-d3d73tz.jpg
The wheel mechanism is placed inside the center of gravity in each "foot". The "feet" provide additional balance while the mech is rolling, and also stabilize it when the mech is slowed or stopped, but the wheelbrakes are not initiated. The sniper rifle is on the left, encased in an armored mechanism which keeps it fed, and the MGs are fitted to an external mechanism. The MG arm has limited mobility, a small price ot pay for security, to make sure the bullets didn't initiate sympathetic ignition when being fired upon. The mech's user is required to curl up into the hull in order to seal, allowing the mech's total weight without pilot to settle at around 300 lbs, depending on the size of the pilot.
C42 in her cyberphagic footsuit
Cyborg_woman_from_hell_by_flinden.jpg
Cyberphagic footsuits are meant to be used by CHARLOTTE volunteers when not in a mech. They accelerate the wearers senses, reactions, and cyberphagic propagation, allowing them to easily survive in any environment. Also, they can attach armor to their footsuits, allowing them to increase the natural pain threshold to the point where they require a few seconds of concentrated machine gun fire to kill, whereas an unarmored individual would take a single bullet. When in their footsuits, CHARLOTTE volunteers are encouraged to use their government-issued headgear to protect themselves from brain damage caused by being shot in the head and not dying. Said headgear often easily connects with the footsuit, allowing the volunteer to personalize their HUD, and even adding additional readings, including heartbeat, pain readings, and accurate "health bars" as they have been called. However, many volunteers are unskilled in infantry gunmanship, and are forced to rely on acrobatic martial arts they are trained in during their acceptance into the CHARLOTTE program to make up for their lack of weapons training. Due to the Cyberphage, and constantly needing to be hooked up to a machine of some sort, C42 is very cold and factual, almost a machine herself. However, she finds it very hard to deny her personnal sense of compassion and romanticism, although she still conveys the former in a cold fashion.
Name: Robert "Silent Bob" Fujimori
When caught hacking into a federal Bank after sneaking into New Los Angeles, he was given an ultimatum, Government Service until he'd paid back all of what he stole, or the Cubes. He chose government service, where it was quickly realized he wasn't normal, which had been no secret to those in his hometown. Meta-human was what he was dubbed, and they were popping up in places all over the globe, they were stronger, faster, more intelligent, and had more endurance than normal humans, and it was quickly learned that humanity was moving along the evolutionary path. He's a stubborn young man who prizes science and advancement of either himself or technology instead of subscribing to flights of fancy such magic or mythical creatures. He speaks only when he feels he needs to, otherwise communicating through hand gestures or nods, something that confuses most and earned him the nickname "Silent Bob". He spends his free time tinkering with his handheld computer, listening to his music player or drawing, something that he's gotten quite good at.
Blueish- Green eyes that are shaped like that of the Japanese, straight nose, narrow cheeks and a softly squared jaw as if it couldn't decide to be round or square. He's tall, reaching about 6'5 though even being what some would super human he isn't built like a brick house instead he is muscular but lanky, having a combination of the physique of a long distance runner, and Bruce Lee. He prefers not to shave, or at least, not shave all the way, he likes leaving his face covered in overgrown stubble and having mutated passed susceptibility to cancer, finds delight that cigarettes can't eventually kill him, and constantly has two or three packs stowed away on his person in case he is unable to procure more for a few days.
Okay, looking at these Character sheets, the CW severely outweight the Magic users... I need to develop a way to balance that out. But that mech, holy crap 0.0
But really those mechs seem... OP. Babydoll, your CS is approved though.
Verbal, some parts of your CS kind of conflict with some of my plot devices that I'm going to thrown in near the beggining, so you can't have the military airdrop that mech in. Also keep in mind that your jumping into a world of might and magic, something that would not normally have a reliable source of electricity to power your electro-do dads.
On a side note, if we don't get another magicae dweller I'll probably just make one.
I hope your not planning on making this a PVP. Those always die out quickly and make complications. I guess as long as everyone pays attention to their CS and don't add anything extra into it we should be fine... hopefully. Really I would rather them work together to stop some evil being or something that is trying to kill both their worlds. Like start out with a fight then change into them being jumped in the middle of it or something. But just a warning PVP has never gone well for me >.>
... then again you have an entire plot thought out so you most likely have this well thought out >.>
Really I would rather them work together to stop some evil being or something that is trying to kill both their worlds.
or something that threatens to forcefully merge the two worlds together perverting the fabric of reality, but i trust Execsmyr's brain
Don't worry, I won't TRY to pit you guys against each other. Behind the roughly thought out introduction is a better plot. I PROMISE!
Tensions will be thick between the two worlds but they're going to have to work together, and that's as much as I'm going to give out in terms of plot.
