Seventeen years ago, Earth was deemed uninhabitable for the human race. Now, another species, Groggs, live there. They kindly requested permission after the humans fled earth. Their request was approved without conflict. At least our old home could be of use to somebody. The Grogg were kind enough to send any remaining human artifacts to different colonies where humans were known to inhabit, though there was rarely anything useful found.
Despite the Grogg's kindness to humans, most other species despised us. They considered us filth, pollutants. We didn't deserve to live, given what happened to our planet. Of course, it did nothing to help that we were all running from one of the more technologically powerful alien species. Sorian. The Sorian are a race of humanoid aliens. They have a similar shape to humans, though they are mostly made of energy. They have no nose, and seemingly no ears, and their skin glows blue. They only have hair on their heads, the rest of their body is covered in scattered white furs.
They don't rule space, by any means. However, they are definitely feared. No race wishes to cross them. Even the remaining humans. Instead, we wish to hide away in colonies, intermixed with other aliens, or completely alone in abandoned shuttle-yards. Humans cannot be out in the open. Not with the Sorian looking to kill all humans. Apparently, they were afraid of our advances. We were becoming too powerful. Too intelligent. We were becoming an even bigger threat than before. Though we still don't know why.
Now, we are spread out. Living an unfulfilled life. Now, other species are beginning to betray us in fear of their own lives. Or for something in return. Seventeen years of survival, and now we are all in great threat again.

The large ship pulled toward the colony. The engines reversed to slow their decent before successfully docking. The captain walked down one of the corridors to the large door that opened to another long corridor. Once he stepped foot onto the colony, he was shocked to see there were all ready more humans here than had been estimated. They bustled around a circular marketplace. There were Siz'lhyuon eyes, Flygian eggs, and even Toko Yon noodles. This place was well-fed. At least that was something good.
The captain glanced around briefly, taking in the amazing site of so many humans in one place. Children played hopscotch near the center of the market, while others sat obediently behind various booths. There were several hallways off the large circular room. One stated Infirmary, another Wing 1, Wing 2, and so on. The one directly behind him stated Docking. He took another step forward, ready to begin his mission. Recruiting other humans to come with him and fight. Come with him and try to save these colonies. Save the human race.
RACES
• Groggs - Large brown creatures with small round ears on top of their head.
• Flygian - Insect
• Siz'lhyuon - Similar to human. They look like young humans (5-17), and can pass for humans, other than their pure yellow eyes. With contacts, nobody would know who they might be. They are short and petite.
• Toko Yon - Reptilian
• Awyx - Avian.
• Human - Human.
• Mahg - Bat-like race with a slight humanoid appearance
• Tarrin - Slime creatures.
• Revven - Species of intelligent quadrupedal mammals. There are several sub-species. Some resemble a cat or a dog, others resemble a reptilian creature, while some resemble nothing.
• Codeling (by Silver) - A Codeling is a manufactured race. Codelings came about when researchers tried to use codes and minimal technology to see how they could change a life form. There aren't many labs who produce Codelings. But there are a few around the universe. Test subjects are sold to the lab while they are just infants. Experiments begin the second the new subject arrives and finishes their medical exams. After that, scientists inject code through nanomachines into the temple of the subjects, close to the brain. The nanomachines than travel through he blood and begin to attach themselves to the brain of the subject. This process is continued over time. Not many subjects survive the experiments, But for those who do, the codes alter the base species development some, usually in the form of physical coloration, occasionally other physical attributes, and a diverse possibilities of abilities. Most of these abilities are technomancer ish in form. Codelings can be produced from several different species of life forms, researches have yet to isolate the common trait that allows some Codelings to live while others die. The only non organic thing done to the Codelings is the injection of the nanomachines that transfers the code to the subjects brain. No other alterations are down to the subjects.
• Aseiirin - (by Requiem): The Aseiirin, or as they're more commonly known, Ghosts, are a species of humanoids that developed in an incredibly odd way. Their molecular structure is transient and they are capable of becoming both incorporeal and invisible for short periods of time. They are born fully capable of surviving on their own, which is good as they can't be taken care of by their parents as they are born and spend most of their early years invisible and incorporeal, feeding off natural energies in the environment. It isn't until they've been alive for about seven years that they leave this state of protection. Overall, they appear to be human, with next to nothing to give them away except for the odd chance of being caught while incorporeal and still visible. They are very rare though as they rarely find others of their own kind, and crossbreeds are less likely to carry the Ghost Genes. When they do meet their own kind though, they can tell, as the Aseiirin have a unique appearance to eachother, giving off a slightly glow. This glows colour differs from Ghost to Ghost, but it is always there. When they reach the age of embracing (Becoming Physical), they typically make their way to the nearest settlement, regardless of it's inhabitants, and try to get themselves adopted by a family within. Those who don't are kept in orphanages, and stay there until they feel they can make an escape and try again in a different area.
• Larium (by ET4252): PM ET4252 to use! The Larium are a race found almost solely on a small heavily forested planet of Felraton. There are very sociable and have been seen living in packs numbering in the fifties. They seem to be relitively intelligent but, with very little outside interactions over the years it is sometimes hard to tell. Over the years they have evolved to navigate the massive trees that cover just under half the planet. Their most noticable trait is the fact that they have two sets of arms, one located in the same place as a humans the second set situated a bit further down. Their nails are very long and sharp, even their toe nails, giving them wonderful grip even when there are no branches present. Living so far up they had to find some way of hunting the small animals that lived on the forest floor. To this end they now have large conical ears like those of a cat and big eyes with excellent vision. They are known to be both active and ambush hunters, individuals usually the ones actively hunting while larger groups will split up with a couple herding prey to where the rest lie waiting in ambush, ready to kill with either their claws or large canines. In a life time an individual will only produce around three offspring, with their biggest threat being members of their own pack. In an pack changes in authority are very common with the offspring of the loosing side sometimes getting killed. To combat this the Larium have evolved an odd method of prefeventing this. In every generation there are born a couple individuals that are born bigger and tougher than the usual stock. These are the Nalna, which roughly translates to Shepard. Besides being generally bigger and stronger they have very strong parenting insincts. These Lariums either live on their own or in groups of up to five. After a cub is wheened it is handed over to the first Nalna that the parent can find. As a general rule the Nalna will not have any more than about six cubs to take care off at once, however that number goes up when Nalna's team up with a group of three once being seen with about 35 different children. And it is not just members of their own species, the nuturing instinct is so strong that one individual was observed with at least 5 different species under her care.
• Kadal (by ET4252): PM ET4252 to use! The Kadal are a very intelligent race from the planet Durnara. They are like humans in that they are known to fit a variety of roles from scholars to laborers. There are however very popular as workers as they are quite the heavily lifters. Their skin varies in shade from a nearly white purple to something just a few shades off from royal purple. They are known to have odd horizontal pupils that also vary widely in color. (For more details see Ben's appearence)

Codeling Abilities: Can control technology/machinery if she's touching it. She can 'absorb information from technology, again, if shes's touching it. The only offensive ability she has is the ability to absorb enough electricity in her hand to knock someone back and away from her.

Family: She is unaware of their existence if she has any.
Personality: Naïve, Accepting, Has a hard time interacting with others according to the social norm, insanely curious, She's usally always in a good mood "chipper".
History (Optional):
X came from a lab out of the Storn System. There are three test groups at a time and she was part of the X Group. She was also the only one to survive from her group. She's the only human from the whole lab to be a success. Because of this she was sort of treated as a favored pet. A common enough occurrence for a subject who'd survived as long as she had. As she gained awareness of herself as an individual instead of a subject, X began to dream of a world outside of the lab. One without tests and locked cell doors, where no one poked and prodded and measured every little detail about you. Not logn after, it dawned on her how real that fantasy could be. Before the week was out, she was gone.

At first, the universe scared her, it scared her so much she hid until she couldn't hide anymore. When she cracked down and made herself leave the hidey hole she'd placed herself in, one of the first individuals she crossed paths with was Zale. At the time, the two of them guessed, she was about 17. Zale helped her for a few days before he went his own way, only to keep bumping into the odd human. After the fifth incidant of this bumping, in which his ear got singed from an errant laser blaster, Zale just stuck around. He kept the girl out of trouble the best he could, he even bought her clothes, all in all, he took up a protecter/brother role for X. She in turn, adored him. A sort of two person pack was made. Life was good for a few months.

Zale saw the reward poster first. The lab was looking for X. that night, Zale got them off that planet. they've been sort of on the run ever since.

Reason for joining the ship: To see the universe and have an adventure along the way.
Qualifications: She's not entirely sure what this means.
Preferred title/position: "I don't like staying in one position for very long, my legs fall asleep"

Name: Zale
Age: Equivalent of 25 human years.
Species: Revvan - Luinger (L OO ING ER)
Abilities: He's poisonous, the end of his long tail there's a brush of highly course fur, it gives off massive amounts of venom if enough force is used. Other venomous locations includes his canines and his claws. He can control when the poison is or isn't being used. He can kind of float/flu like in the picture.
Appearance:
Show Spoiler
[IMG]

Family: He has a large pack styled family.
Personality: Sensible, independent, loyal, and caring to a point, he's good at following orders, but if he thinks they're stupid he will mutiny.
History: Look above

Reason for joining the ship: Babysitting X
Qualifications: He was enlisted in the "armed" forces of his home planet. He went through an academy, and came out one of the star students. He can keep X inline, or about as inline as you'll get her.
Preferred title/position: Wherever he's needed.

3. id like to reserve a spot

4. What makes Siz'lhyuons different from humans besides eye color?

5. A question: are Tarrins slimes in that they can shape shift? And if so, how long can they hold a shifted form? If not, what does one look like?

6. Sure! Post bio whenever you are able!

I'm leaving the pre-made races open a bit to interpretation. They can have some sort of 'power' that they are capable of (no Godmod power). And of course, there can be subspecies too. So one person might say they are just like humans, while another could say they can read thoughts, etc.

As above response, I'm kind of leaving it up to interpretation to give everyone some wiggle room for customization. I would say, if you did shape-shifting, they could only hold the form for a couple hours. If it is a real simple form (similar body shape and size), then maybe 5+ hours. Otherwise, just customize as you will!

Silver - Wonderful bios! Love it!

7. Name: Spriisyn
Age: About 470 human years
Species: Tarrin
Appearance: Base Form: [IMG]
(Can shape shift, so appearance can always be different, however, is always colored green)
Family: Killed by those young RPG heroes Family was split into molecules in an accident
Personality: Attention seeking, wanting to impress everyone by shape shifting into various things.
History: Born, Spriisyn's structure made it so his brain was less developed than his family's, making him incapable of speech, however, he was more resilient than the other slimes of his family. Over the course of 400 years, he(?) and his family were entertainers, moving from world to world. However, one day the small ship they were on violently erupted due to a miscalculation in the ships enter trajectory. His family was torn apart as he was the only survivor, due to having a more resilient composition. After falling onto the planet and having to reform himself from his then fractured body, he quickly fled into a nearby ship, thinking in his head his family was there and everything would be alright.

Reason for joining the ship: Confusing the ship for his ship
Qualifications: Shapeshifting to fit needs of the ship
Preferred title/position: Freeloader

Personality: The group seems to have a sense of hive mind, All are calm, Funny, Normal acting kids
History (Optional):N/A

Reason for joining the ship: They had snuck on board, and had been found out. They had only just wished to go on an adventure instead of being stuck bored on one planet.
Qualifications: They are great with building items, and they are good at stealth also, they can also rebuild items very well
Preferred title/position: Engineers, Weapon creators

9. CrystalScorpion96 - Wonderful! Looks like an interesting character to join the crew!

Akuma - Looks good. Just be sure to add in the original species, as Codelings are modified species. Since Silver created the race, she is the only human codeling to survive. Feel free to make your own origin race, or choose from one listed. So you could be a "Revven Codeling" or some such.

10. Name: Zaigou "Requiem" Taida
Age: 23
Species: Aseiirin AKA "Ghosts"
Appearance:
Family: The Aseiirin, or Ghosts as their more commonly called, abandon their children shortly after birth. Partly because they're dicks, and partly because they're born incorporeal and invisible and can't be handled anyway. They are born capable of hunting and surviving on their own. Regardless of this though, he has no known family.
Personality: He's pretty laid back, although he likes playing tricks on people for no apparent reason other than because it's fun.
History: Zaigou did as most Ghosts did, he found a Colony on the Planet he was born on, and blended in. He was picked up by a local tribe of gangsters who led him down a darker path. When he was fourteen he was caught stealing and spent two years in bars. He learned a few things being locked up, and when he was released he formed a small pirating group. During this time, Zaigou earned the nickname Requiem. Eventually though he got bored of Piracy, and went from settlement to settlement, gambling and overall killing time, until he heard about an Expedition. An Expedition that sounded quite interesting.

Reason for joining the ship: Adventure and Boredom
Qualifications: Tactician, Riddler, Lunatic, Swordsman, Gunner, and Gambler. (Secretly A Pirate)
Preferred title/position: Captain, Damnit.

11. Fixed it

12. Name: Alexia Senther
Age: 21
Species: Human
Family: human and dead
Personality: Independent, stubborn, opinionated, altruistic, sarcastic, and sometimes reckless
History: Alexia--who usually goes by Alex-- was sent to Colony 361 when she was 13 and her parents had been killed by Sorians right in front of her. Since then, she's despised them and any other aliens too cowardly to associate with her simply because of her species. She's trained herself to fight, even getting some help from certain teachers. She's always wanted to protect her race as well as the other species disliked by the Sorians. As a student in middle and high school, she was always the one beating up the boys who picked on her and other, more timid students. She's never been afraid to speak her mind and when she's not in the mood to speak to anyone, which is most of the time, she has her wireless earphones in, listening to her music too loud. People underestimate her because of her height (5'2) and gender, but she's always enjoyed that. It gives her an edge.

Reason for joining the ship: Kill as many Sorians as possible
Qualifications: Most useful with pretty much any kind of gun, but she can also figure out other weapons. Really good in hand to hand combat as well
Preferred title/position: warrior

17. Requiem - Awesome! Look forward to the battle between Trent and Req for Captain
Vanessa and Silver - That's ironic! Looking forward to the 'new' Alexia

Also, pick your rooms on the ship, HERE and HERE

If someone chooses one you would prefer, we can solve it in the RP between your charries. I will be posting up the link once I've made it, but wanted to get this figured out first. You may PM me, or post in here which room you want. Be specific.

From top left to right, they are ordered as Empty 1, Empty 2
From bottom left to right Empty 3-8

Those with multi charries can choose more than one room, or bunk in the same room.
