ARE YOU AN ARTIST THAT DOES CHARACTER PORTRAITS?

Ok so brand new here and saw this poll & although I don't often ask to be paid a Lil pay is preferred but i don't mind free as long as I'm given a good description that i believe I could actually do :P
I've done designs of my own characters and creatures and love to hear what other ideas people have
I do traditional & digital and hope to keep improving :)

I'm an amateur illustrator.
Back in high school,
I drew up all the characters of a novel I was working on— and
never finished.
(Damn the fool who stole my flash drive)
So, technically, I do make character art for myself,
but I've never used them for roleplaying.
But now that I think about it,
drawing my roleplay characters could be fun.

Then again,
drawing my characters would take too long than necessary.
A bit of a perfectionist.

I do art as well. And the character art. However, I am more of a pencil girl (but I do graphic as well),and pretty busy to take orders. Maybe sometimes when I am able to :)

I do like to draw and i can draw character art. I would consider myself as an artist. A beginner artist. Unfortunately, im a very busy person since im a student. I would like to draw commissions for free when i have the time though.

I do character art but mostly only for myself and people that RP with me regularly, give me their phone number, and don't flake out. I'd say 'I do free and paid art' but I'm in school, have 2 jobs, and am in the middle of being homeless right now. I have no time to art, but once I'm stable and caught up on homework that should change.

all I ask is that those requesting artwork is patient and remains in contact with me though PM or skype
I also do digital work. photo manipulation and the like.

I perfer to keep my eork organic and done by hand with legit materials.

Im a perfectionist. If someone doesnt like the work I start over.

Art is my passion. My dream. all I want to do is share it.

I like to stick with ink for illustrations but soon I wil have a coloured pencil with ink posted up forall to see.

I am flexible and like a good challeng. not afraid to step beyond my comfirt zone and try newthings.

I do art, as well. Mostly just manga/anime though. I might, might, get into realism this year though. Maybe. I do free (that word always reminds me of Free!) and mainly only do art for me unless someone asks me to do something for them or if I do requests, which is not often. I am better at traditional art with a pencil but I am alright at digital art, I guess, slowly working on making them both better but yeah!! This seems like fun!! :D

I work purely with traditional media, so I feel people wouldn't want that for their character art. I am sooooo tempted to get a tablet soon though, and take my art to the next level.

Well as I'm sure that Diana at least knows that I'm an artist and would prefer to be paid for my work (I could probably be convinced to do some free stuff for an iwaku project)

I'm a concept artist specialising in characters. I also have an art shop on Iwaku already, though thus far it hasn't quite garnered the amount of interest i'd perhaps of liked (I think my prices are rather high :x)

And rarely now do I ever use pictures on google for portraying my roleplaying characters, I draw them myself via pencil and paper, colour with pencil crayons (go ahead, call me a child, I don't care :P I'm a child at heart anyways.) and put them on Deviant Art for all to sco- I mean see -shifty eyes shifty eyes-
Anywhom, I would LOVE to do commissions, but no one ever wants me to draw anything XD So it's kind of saddening for me e.e

I usually draw my characters too but usually just my Naruto oc's and then I uust make different versions of them (like a Naruto version, Kuroko no Basket version, SNK version, etc). Or I just typed up what they look like.

Same with me for the art as well. No one asks.
But then I don't really do request or anything either....

I wish I could draw. I really do. But my talents lie much more in writing and music than in drawing.

I did, however, get a VERY nice character portrait for a, uh.... Kind of high sum of money from a very nice lady who does these kinds of things.
