Night of a Thousand Stars
There is a legend, in old Memoian tales, of the flower maiden and her lover. They would meet in secret, high above the hills of the old Memoian lands, beneath the twilight sky and sparkling stars. She was only a young human girl and he was a creature from another world, but she fancied him for he fascinated her. It wasn't long before her father discovered her running off in the middle of the night. And one dark evening, he followed after her with his sword, prepared to kill the man who had stolen away his daughter for so many nights. And yet, when he came upon the two, in a clearing in the forest, lit by moonlight, he could not walk any closer.
For his daughter, watching him with her tearful eyes, her hair fluttering in the soft wind, was illuminated by moonlight in such a way that she looked almost angelic. And the man, her father could see, was a being of darkness itself, bearing fangs and a pair of enchanting black wings, spreading out and encompassing the view of everything else. She had seen her father coming, the girl told him quietly, tears spilling down her cheeks. She had seen her father coming, and for that reason, she wished to die. If she were to die, she told them, she could happy. She would not face anyone or anything any longer. And she could die with the memories of both her beloved and her dear father without the pain of betraying either.
The father, unable to speak or move, stood still and watched as his daughter fell to the ground, weeping. And the vampire, taken by surprise, kneeled beside her, holding her by the shoulders, begging her to compose herself. This would not end things, this would not make things easy for any of them, but the girl continued to cry as the evening darkened into night, and the night fell to a starlit dawn. As the tiniest specks of sunshine crawled upon the horizon, the girl began to fade away into tiny stars, sparkling and dancing as they shot up to the sky. The father and the vampire were surrounded by the bright lights of these little stars, blinded by the brightness of these tiny sparkles.
So much so, that when the sun rose into the sky, yellow sunshine spreading across the fields, none of them were ever to be found...

The legend claims that every few years, the stars will line up again and come down to earth. The beautiful flower maiden will return to take revenge on humans for what she had to give up. She will take away one's hearts, one's emotions, one's love for another. She will spend four nights in this world, wrecking havoc in the hearts of the young...
Just our luck, if the legend claims true, one of the nights of the Masquerade ball will be the Night of a Thousand Stars.
As if the havoc of the flower maiden isn't enough, the threat of the Three Pillars is yet to come.
