"You are what you eat" and other weird sayings!

  • So many newbies lately! Here is a very important PSA about one of our most vital content policies! Read it even if you are an ancient member!
"Better than a sharp stick in the eye". Just about ANYTHING is.

"All toasters toast toast". CD-I nonsense, was that even a real phrase?

"Never say die". Cliche, too cliche.

"Cats have nine lives". Yeah this is the only one in particular I feel is weird. They can be good hunters but they're not survival experts.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me you can't get fooled again." By Mr.Dubya himself, I don't remember the phrase going EXACTLY that way.. :P Do people really say that in Tennessee and Texas? lol.
 
One I never quite get. "People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." Is it advice against gossip/slander?
