Would you go to Mars?

I'd like to know other people haven't died doing this before I go. I'm not particularly fond of Earth, but I am particularly fond of not dying a slow and painful death.

That aside, I kind of have plans. I think I'll just wait for a magic blue box to appear on my doorstep.

Here, some humans in a cage. We know how much you suck at pulling them off of earth these days.
 
Why the fuck aren't we doing this on the Moon first?

I mean, seriously, it's an awesome idea and stuff. It's great that people are thinking big when it comes to space. But I really can't help but think that this project is just too ambitious for it's own good.
