Lin's ears flattened against his skull and he laid flat against the ground, tail still tucked firmly in between his legs submissively. He didn't speak, but watched silently. He had never liked being the one to get in trouble. He felt as if he were a burden for others: his parents, Brittney, Kistu and Lust.... He then began to feel depression sink in as dark and self-loathing filled thoughts began to take over the pup's young mind as he was becoming reserved and angry towards mainly himself. At one point, half an hour later, he had asked himself the questions, "Am I going insane?","Should I just leave and quite being such a burden to everyone?".... He mentally scolded himself that he couldn't just leave his sister and the wolves he loved and feared like they were his own older siblings or parents. He opened his eyes, not having realized he closed them, to look over at Brittney who had awakened and was licking his cheek wound clean. He flinched slightly, but made no sound as he closed his eyes once more, not really caring about anything anymore. There were times that Brittney felt like she was with two different wolves that were COMPLETE OPPOSITES of each other. Lin was barely ever reserved and depressed, and when he was it worried her. She was so used to him being happy and hyperactive and actually acting like a living creature instead of an uncaring and suicidal brother. Lin couldn't sleep so he laid there, wishing that whatever was to come would just hurry up and come already- he wanted to at least know when he'd be yelled at or punished. The quiet was bothering him greatly.
He opened a half lidded eye when Brittney curled closer to him and slept. He knew he'd get scolded by her too. A bitter thought ran through his head. "...always likes you better....." He whispered in a low, inaudible growl as he glared tiredly at the elder sibling. Yes, he was jealous. He truly felt that deep down others preferred Brittney over him because she was older, even if by a mere few minutes, and "knew how to stay out of trouble". He knew they'd both get in trouble but he didn't care, he knew that she only went out there to protect him because he was being an idiot at the time and would probably get in LESS trouble then him. When Lin's thought process turned dark and cold, so did his heart. He never thought about his actions until it was to late and he felt guilty about them in this state of mind. He laid in his side and used his legs to push the other away, who was in to deep a sleep to notice. Lin then turned his back towards his sister and beganto drift off, dark, cold thoughts still plaguing his mind, soul, and heart.
