Unpleasant Arrangement

Kaden's eyes tended to widen as the visual appearance of Lillian came clearer with her closing in. The woman was stunning. There was no doubt about it but this left Kadence to remember the personality of the woman. This caused the thoughts about the beauty shrivel away then catch in the wind. Her body turned towards the way they'd be walking as her arm opened up a space that could be held if the other wished to look joined. "You look beautiful, Lillian." She played nice and spoke the truth, hopefully to help lighten the mood. The doors opened with no time for the woman to reply. The show was on.

Lillian smiles faintly taking her arm, wanting to reply but not having enough time before the door opened. she turns slightly looking at the door to see who would come in.

Lillian's face had shown a smile as though wanting to reply. This left the woman wanting to know what was going to be said. Looking around only a few from each family had showed up. Kaden's own mother with tears down her face, was the mixture of happy to see the day of the marriage of her child and then of the fact that it wasn't the typical marriage. The father on the other hand stood tall and proud no matter what mishap had occurred. This was all about peace between families anyways. The alter was the stopping point for the girls, where the elder bishop from earlier hid, with a giant smile spread across his face. Kadence turned towards the maiden that was soon to be... hers? Her hand twitched and often squeezed lightly at the woman's hand. The thought of being hitched sunk in again leaving Kaden only one choice, complement Lillian as much as possible even if it as only in her head and even if it had been the first time to actually admitting a desire for women. It helped a bit enough to survive the whole ceremony.

Lillian watches as the few people attending walk in. Only her father comes, standing solemnly near the back. Lillian surpressed a sad sigh. She wished her mother had been able to come. Looking ahead, she studies the alter slightly still holding Kaden's hand quietly. She hadn't expected to marry a woman but in truth, didn't really mind it much. Sure it was a surprise but...there wasn't really anything she could do.

The ceremony had seemed to go fast. Kadence watched how Lillian's hidden expression of sadness hadn't budged much through out the time. She wasn't sure what to do since honestly... Kaden hadn't even had her first kiss. It would have been embarrassing if others were to find out, more so her newly significant other. Her lips pressed firmly against Lillian's forehead, since she wasn't sure how appropriate anything else would be. Kadence looked upon Lillian with confusion. She seemed like a complete space case with no clue of anything at thaat moment. She hoped the woman before her would figure something out.

Lillian blinks a bit as the other girl presses her lips to her forehead. She didn't mind really. Perhaps the other hadn't had a first kiss or something...Surprisingly, Lillian hadn't either. She smiles faintly reassuringly at Kaden

Kaden sighed in relief as she saw a small smile from Lillian. Her eyes looked around at everyone. They just stared. Kadence felt like she wanted to crawl back into a shell. This was a strange feeling that wasn't like her. What were all the people waiting for?

Lillian glances back at them slightly before sighing inwardly and reaches slightly taking Kaden by the arms softly leaning forward kissing her for a minute before pulling back, looking at her quietly.

After the kiss broke, Kadence blushed lightly but pulled Lillian in by the waist into another kiss; breaking it only seconds later. Her eyes were fixated on the woman before her until interrupted by a hand on her shoulder. "Now for the reception." Her father behind her with a smile across his face. "It's in the next room. Please everyone enjoy themselves." His dark blue eyes looked over Lillian then at his own daughter. "Looks like you still manage to have an interest into this young lady."

Kaden quickly released the woman and retorted with a blush that contridicted anything she would say. "Old man, You're delusional! Why would I like this thing!?!" She stormed off still blush making its way of washing all over her.

The older man hysterically laughed then calmed with tears escaping. "That's my hot headed daughter for you... Don't take everything she says too seriously." He grasped her hand, kissing it lightly then walking away hollering at Lillian one last thing. "Take care of her, will you?"

Lillian blinks in surprise before smiling softly, "I'll keep it in mind." The second kiss was a surprise for Lillian, not expecting it. Being called a thing didn't really bug her. She knew the other girl didn't mean it.

Kadence paced back and forth in her room thinking about her own actions. What the hell was I thinking? A sigh escaped her letting out a bit of her built up stress. Her hands ripped off the dress as nicely as she could from utter embarrassment. Kaden wasn't one to be easily embarrassed either. The dress hit the floor then was hung it up the best she could do it. The woman stood there in nothing but her undergarments still trying to wrap her head around the stupidity that had happened, though everyone else seemed fine with it. The woman pulled on her other gown feeling instantly relaxed. Now her decision was to leave the room or not.

Lillian walks down the hall quietly holding her hands behind her. She was looking for Kaden, wondering if she would come to the reception. It was a wedding after all and the only ones they'd be the brides of. She hesitates outside her door before reaching up knocking softly.

She heard a knock at her door. Guess that was her answer. Kaden had to continue on and just try to move forward. Her body drifted as if floating to the door followed by opening it with one swift movement. "Yes? Can I help you?" Her eyes widened then quickly softened at the sight of her newlywed wife. "Lillian?" Her voice a bit shaky straightened as much as it could trying to speak again. "What can I do... for you?"

She smiles softly as Kaden appeared at the door. She folds her hands behind her slightly, standing straight and beautifully, long black hair silkily falling down her back against the white lacy folds of her dress. "I was hoping you'd come to the reception..." she tilts her head a bit.

The woman's reaction was smooth and pretty nice. Odd from earlier, more relaxed and not complex from before the ceremony. Maybe Lillian's real self? Kaden released a smile masking the blush that typically would have set place. Hearing the woman's voice with the invitation to their own reception, she remembered her fathers teasing from before, instantly making her head turn to the side with a 'hmph' sound. Her attitude wasn't going to budge from it's usual at home form. "Fine... Only since you asked me." The blush shown through a bit though Kadence continued to be complex towards the other individual.

She smiles a bit, "thank you." She had decided to keep their relationship as simple as possible, not wanting to cause any disharmony in their coming relationship and smiles a bit more as she notices the slight blush, holding her hand out toward Kaden slightly.

Kaden's eyes rolled as her stubborn personality continued to hold it self up. Her took the woman's hand as Lillian had wanted. This was just the beginning for them both and yet the woman was like a succubus, siren, or even a mermaid and drew Kadence's attention no matter how much she fought. Their relationship was important to both families no doubt but was easily reminded, her own father seemed to be intrigued by their marriage as two beautiful women and not a man and wife like the simple tradition. Kaden followed Lillian in silence trying to hide her best to hide everything that was floating around in her head.

Lillian walks down the hall with her and smiles slightly. She could tell the other was still a bit stubborn about the whole thing and decided not to press head on. She glances at her faintly before saying, trying to light a small conversation, "My family arranged a house with yours for us to live in. Did you hear about it?"
