She stood up, following behind the paramedics as they took Charles away.
 
Charles was sent to the hospital, next thing you know he was in a bed, connected to wires and an iv.

"Charles, you have a visitor." The nurse said, peeking through the door.
 
emily waited outside his room quietly, holding onto some cheesy small bear and a get well soon balloon. her parents were just keaving by the time the nurse went to tell Charles.
 
Emily looks at the nurse as she motions for her to come in. She walks into his room and waves. "Uh, hi."
 
"Hey," he weakly smiled.
"You're the only person that came today."
 
She smiles a little. "I think I saw your mom earlier. She was kinda standing near your door." She sets the bear down and ties the balloon to his bed.
 
His eyes widened in surprise.
"Well,I'm glad you're here."
 
She nods a little and sits in the chair near his bed, glancing at him. "Uh, you're welcome."
 
"I don't know what to do...O just got disowned yesterday." He said as he looked at his arms.
 
"I'm beig sent to a fosterhome after this." He sighed, as if it was nothing.
 
"It's in the city...so yeah." He looked away,trying not to cry.
 
She looks away. "Do you really have to..?"
 
"Well,yeah. I'll have no other place to go." He said wiping his face.
 
"Uh.. well.. i, uh, have a guest house.. my parents.. there kinda rich.." she mumbled in a quiet voice.
 
"It's a long process...you have to go to the foster care center." He said.
"You can try."
