With mobs of people crowding around the main doors, she was trying to deviate away from them towards the loading area where there was several crates stacked high waiting to be carted on board on of the ships. Everyone was being herded around like cattle to a slaughter at this rate. They couldn't be caught in a big group.
"Everything is locked down. Even if he knows another entrance, they aren't going to let us through." How did she know? The alarms. The way the doors were locked. This was like a quarantine. Trying to keep something locked up and prevent it from spreading, regardless of the lives that were screaming and begging to be set free...
Another rare show of emotion crossed her face. She looked angry for a moment while she searched her own clothes. There wasn't a single weapon left on her. It was convenient when a body dropped nearby. One of the other security personal, seemingly ripped in to pieces. His belt still strapped around what was left of his torso. Glancing out from behind the crates, she waited until those monsters seemed preoccupied. Then she darted out from her cover to skid to a stop at the body. With deft fingers she detached and belt and fastened it tight around her own waist. Any other weapons she could pilfer off the body went in to the belt or tucked away in to her clothes. Including his I.D. tags and clearances. No reason to let those go to waste.
A gurgled snarl had her looking up quick to find one of the beasts with someone's arm it's mouth. But more to her surprise some of the bodies farther across the room seem to be moving. Churning under their skin, despite the fact they surely had to be dead. Not wasting anymore time, she dove back behind the crates with the others. Breathing hard as she struggled to think!
"...There's not going to be an easy way. We'll have to crash through a wall. One of the smaller ships might work unless one of these things is armed and can blast through the metal. I... I don't think it's a good idea to get any physical contact with those things. Something is happening to some of the bodies..."
