The Siren's Song

Scarlett took the phone hiding her surprise, she was then thankful she had a land line in her home as she punched in the her number she saw him rush off to save his friend who was in the mists of the mob. She sighed sadly loosing his attention but a slow smile had her walking towards the front and tucking the phone into the top off her dress. He would definately come back for his phone and they would meet again. As she stepped outside a male asked her if she wanted a ride home. She glanced at him his eyes held the familar lust as he eyed her; she smiled feeling the swell of hunger as she took his arm giggling as if she were slightly drunk and clung to him as they walked away. She knew if anyone from far away looked their way they could have seen the glow of her pale blue eyes.

Scarlett made her way into the elevador of her building stumbling happily and flying high on the soul of the male she'd taken. The darkness in his soul had gone straight to her head like good scotch would to a human. She leaned against the back of the elevator wall and sighed happily pulling the phone from her dress and smiled before nuzzling it. She could almost smell him off of it, he must carry it often.
The bell dinged for her floor, she made her way to her new home kicking off her shoes as she locked it behind her. She wandered to the fish tank stroking the glass as the fish and a few young sharks swam close to greet her. She made her way back to her room striping out of the clothes that she'd worn that night and fell onto her bed naked. As a creature not of the land she thought of clothes as unnessicary but the satin sheets of her bed made her greatful for the discovery of cloth.
Scarlett curled up under her blanket and drifted off to sleep with Ian's phone clutched in her hand.

Nervously paced around as he held the phone in his hands. Should he call her now? Would she be awake now? Maybe she would still be asleep? God, this was difficult. He stared at the clock for a good minute before deciding to just dial. As he pressed the phone to his ears, hearing the ringing of the other line, he held his breath. Here we go.

Scarlett woke with a start, the phone clutched in her hand ringing some tune she yet didnt know. She glanced at the number curiously and smirked at the 'home'.

"Good morning, Ian. I see you realized you forgot something?" Her voice was husky from the sleep she'd jumped out of. She sat up stretching, bitting back a yawn, and then throwing the covers off to walk to her kitchen. "When would you like me to go return it to you today?"
