The Future rests in Secrets

The night was silent as Allister sat. His eyes remaining on the bright sky above him, a sort of longing look as the moon reflected in his eyes. With a deep breath, he closed them. Shutting out the light that seemed to be trying to pull him to another world almost. Again, he inhaled deeply. Finally opening his eyes to the bright site before him. Only to look away seconds later. Off in the distance, he could hear the small animals in the tree's. All finally settling down to sleep. The quiet rustling bringing a small, almost unnoticeable, smirk to his face. Slipping into another firm, he let his paws dig gently into the soft earth around him. Shaking his fur out as he was now a wolf again, slowly trudging through the forest. The scent of another wolf soon drifting through his nostrils. Twitching his nose a bit, he ignored it. Keeping on in that same direction.

As he went on, the scent seemed to be growing stronger. Though nothing about the upcoming presence seemed threatening in the least. So he continued to ignore it all. Relaxing to the sounds of small critters calling out for a mate of their own. His eyes closed as his dark figure went along through the tree's. Padded paws making little sound on the grassy floor. Finally, peeking his eyes open, the glowing silhouette he'd been smelling for some time came into view. The scent finally becoming a bit familiar as an image was put along with it. The all white wolf before him striking a bit of curiosity in him. As the look she gave didn't seem to be a happy one. Finally, as he was face to face with her, he came to a stop. Looking dead into the eyes that he normally found in a pair with two other wolfs. One being ms alpha and another male wolf that was always with the trio. Not deterring his gaze from her's, he nodded gently.

Feeling a bit awkward as she was left with no reply in the center of the pack, Juniper slouched a bit. Almost pouting as she turned and made her way back into the tree's. As she was not very tired at the moment and everyone else seemed to be going on about as if she wasn't there. Sighing softly, she looked up at the sky. Wondering if her stumbling in like that had upset the others around her. As she spaced out about it for some time, she eventually shrugged it off and smiled as best she could in wolf form. Her ears perked up as she trudged along through the tree's. Still fascinated with the bugs she'd continued to come across every so often, crawling along the forest floor. Inhaling deeply as a small breeze slowly grazed past her.

Pausing once more, she eagerly looked around. The smell of blood flowing along with the breeze. Wiggling her snout a bit, she wondered if it was her own imagination. Even taking the time to run her paws over her own snout a few times to be sure. With a bit of worry, she slowly sniffed at the air and made her way toward the smell. Though, without the breeze, it seemed a bit harder to track. A dull scent of something moist along with it. Which to her meant it was by the water, meaning her help probably wasn't much needed. Still, she was a bit concerned for whoever it was that may have gotten hurt. After a short walk, she came across the alpha and another wolf. Causing her to remain a small ways back from the two, and lay her snout down onto her paws. Her way of apologizing for intruding on the duo.

"I apologize, I just....caught the scent of blood," she mumbled out a bit. Though she wasn't sure, after the nights earlier events, if they'd even noticed her come around.
