THE PAST
1000 years have come and gone since the rule of King Bran the Broken. Within those years, everything was rebuilt, including the Red Keep and the Wall. Dragons went extinct once more, or so everyone was told, and House Bolton took the crown. People are thriving, farmland and animals are bountiful. But danger lurks just beyond that ice cold wall.
With winter coming again, people begin to panic. Will the White Walkers return from the Lands of Always Winter? Will Wildlings come and ransack their homes? Will they survive?
PRESENT DAY
King's Log
Day 36159
The cold is getting colder, if that makes any sense. It has been 99 years since we got stuck inside this atrocious castle. It's all I've ever known, my whole life has been reddish walls and ivy.
Food is low, people have resorted to eating their horses and beloved pets. Crops will grow indoors but only few see it through to the end. The Lord/Lady Paramount's and I are going to gather this evening and discuss what to do. With the White Walkers and their hoard closing in on King's Landing, I'm not sure there is much we CAN do. The public is scared, no one wants to die, but in the end, we may lose a few brave souls to the fight.
I wish Father was here, he would know what to do. I only pray he is guiding my hand. And Mother, she would know how to calm the people. Maybe a ball to celebrate our last days in this captivity? I miss them both dearly. They're both buried under the large willow in the garden, the spot they first met. I will visit them and ask their spirits for help.
That bastard born Baratheon is becoming a little leech to my side. I will keep him around for private reasons and possible train him to be a better sword-fighter, he seems a little clumsy on the battlefield. Maybe he is unsure of himself?
And that Baelish Girl, pretty thing she is. Quite the looker. Along with that Martell Princess and Kidwell Doll. I know father would want me to take a hand in marriage soon. I'll have my decision in a weeks time.
For the mean time, a ball would quell everyone's fears for now. I shall speak to the Council about it this morning.
