Tera Arise is a continent similar in shape to Pangaea. There are seven nations each with a different god of worship. They are all unique to each other in relation to setting, economy, culture, and history. So to start things off I will make separate posts of each nation and location to their relation and history. I will have it sorted out and easy to read for navigation purposes. The first nation I will talk about is my characters nation.

Nation: Grand Central Union
Capital: Grand Central
Commanders: Hal RavenHawk (Current) , Max Goldenbane (Former) , Magnus Hellbane (Former), Caine Vermillion (Former) , Tyr (Founder / Former )
God of worship: Tyr
God Race: First Wyverian

Grand Central Union is the youngest of the seven nations. It was first a small town created by Tyr located on a island not far from the eastern coast line. Tyr started the town when he was becoming more popular to the people of Tera Arise for his actions and strength. Tyr who's lastname is unknown came from a nomadic tribe known as Dra'frem the wyvern word for Dragon Follower. The Dra'frem followed elder dragons and worshiped them to a exalted status. They cared much about the protection of their secrets and habits. Records in the Grand Central Library indicate they had detailed knowledge of behaviors and practices. Records of Tyr indicate that he was out hunting for game when he came back to see the elder dragons attack his people. This caused Tyr to be consumed by anger and hate. He took his peoples knowledge and used it to his advantage.

Tyr was only 17 when his people were killed and became the last. He spent another four years to track and located elder dragons. He barely lived after fighting off his first elder dragon at the age of 25. When he came into Far Cae with the head of his first elder dragon people learned that he killed it himself. A daunting task that surprised even the high mages in Far Cae. He kept the skull and core to study and learned a year later that if he took their horns, teeth, and core and infused them into himself he could become stronger. His knowledge of this process is unknown as the only research notes that Far Cae of this seemed badly burnt and not readable. The only word translated was the wyvern word for core Het'ran which meant Heat Source. After Tyr infused the materials into his body he felt power surge in himself. The amount of arcane that coursed in his body changed him slowly. He began to hunt down more elder dragons and repeat this process. Due to these actions the people of Tera Arise heard and began to call him a dragon eater.

These actions also caught the eyes of the gods at the time. Specially one known as Ermak. Ermak was the god of life and nature. Tyr stumbled upon his dwellings while hunting down an elder dragon. Ermak who was impressed by his feats considered impossible to most granted him a boon to help further increase his strength. This was the moment that the first Wyvern was born. He was no longer human and began to fully utilize the hidden power that he was infusing into his body. Tyr at the time was just hitting his mid 30's and after his hunt took time to look into himself of what he was capable of.

Tyr kept detailed recordings of his findings reporting that he had an increased amount of blood flow, able to produce his own heat to stay warm or resist the heat from other sources, His skin hardened to be almost the same strength as a dragons scale. While he continued his hunts his power grew further and further with each infusion. He was then able to produce flames, he became tougher than a dragons scale and hide, his eye sight improved for both day and night, along with the amount of detail seen at a distance. By the time he was 40 he had nearly killed every elder dragon that existed in Tera Arise. Many people did not dare to fight him or anger him. They were starting to become terrified. He had then set up a small town to be called Hren'ok which ment Safe Home. He took in all types of people granting a safe place to stay and live. The same people became the first generation of the future city. Instead of him hunting elder dragons they began to hunt him. He went to protect his new home and continued his path. Only one elder dragon remains alive today in Tera Arise hiding out of pure fear.

Ermak had sent messengers to have Tyr come back to him. Impressed by his deeds Ermak convinced the other gods to all grant him a boon. The rite of passage to become a god. No one knows why the elder dragons attacked his people, but he rebuilt everything himself. By this time Tyr was already 120 years old. He didn't look a day over the age of 60. When he came back to tell the people of Hren'ok of the news, he began to grant boons to his people now three generations in. These became the first people to become wyverns. Tyr had spent his time to teach them everything he had known on the attributes of being a wyvern. However he noticed that they were far weaker than he had hoped for. It was then he noticed one female who had exceptional talent and a natural affinity. They soon had a child. This was Magnus Hellbane. Once his son had reach the age of 10, Tyr left the town to be under Caine's care. Caine was another great student of his who had proved his loyalty to their ways.

Caine had renamed Hren'ok to Grand Central once they were acknowledged by the other nations and was given land. This began the Grand Central Union.

Nation: Far Cae Mountains
Capital: Far Cae
Commander: Vera Cae
God of worship: Caerum
God Race: Elven

Far Cae Moutains is a region full of valleys and canyons. The region is west of Grand Central's borders. The area itself once had many elder dragons rest and was the main region of stay for the Dra'frem during the summer months. The Capital is surrounded by waterfalls and has a high concentration of arcane. Mages typically live here and various research projects are held. The city focuses on knowledge but has a good defense. Unlike most nations the leader is family bound and not decided on election or a choice of retainers. The city of Far Cae is also the richest in Tera Arise as their knowledge is well desired for all kinds of fields. Only four other nations use Far Cae as a source for advisors, and the nation is relatively neutral. Caerum the god they worship is a god of knowledge and cares only for such. The offerings by his people tend to be research notes and scrolls along with anything of high importance. Caerum had tried often to convince Tyr to tell him what the method of infusion he used was. Tyr has refused every time and knows that the information is of high value. Caerum has spoken on the matters before and says his theory of why Tyr refuses to budge is due to a potential dark secret or it has a weakness. Caerum had a part of Tyr's rise to become a god when Tyr asked for a metal that could easily pierce a dragons scales and hide. The only information he was given was look for a dark orange and black ore in Vorpal Arise. This metal was called Oracalite. It's a prime resource of Grand Central and only those of the Wyvern race can forge such metal. Tyr had told Caerum about it's properties and uses along with the needs of how to forge it. To his surprise it was impossible for anyone without the resistance that of a dragon to survive in the heat required. This later on made good deeds between the god and future god and helped Grand Central to grow.

Nation: Vorpal Arise
Capital: Rel'thak (Currently fallen)
Commander: (Deceased )
God: Voraxx
God race: Elemental

Vorpal Arise is a volcanic region to the south of Far Cae and Southwest of Grand Central. The land is barren and deserted of almost all life. Only golems seem to prowl the lands. Defenders of the once great city of Rel'thak. Rel'thak still stood when Tyr was human but fell a short few years before he became a god. The volcano erupted and caused mass destruction of the land. The ruins of Rel'thak are still seen in the distance at the foot of the volcano. The dark dwarfs who resided in the area were forced to move out and now live in the old mines. The leader is named Braz Hellforge. He is a skilled miner and leader for the dwarfs who live there. The primary resource they sell is ore and Oracalite is often sold to Grand Central and traded with supplies. Max Goldbane the previous leader has tried to negotiate with Braz to merge territories together but Braz has refused. Most of the information of Rel'thak and it's history has been lost since the great eruption. The rumored cause for it was due to Voraxx being angered that a mortal became a god. There has been no confirmation on it and Voraxx has not been seen nor heard since the eruption.

Nation: Nae Sha Jungle
Capital: Nae Sha
Commander: The Butcher
God: Fortuna
God race: Spectral

The Nae Sha Jungle nation is a notorious one at that.Located just Southwest of Far Cae and south of Vorpal Arise. The jungle that surrounds Nae Sha is not only a great defense but also contains one of their primary sources of income. They call the jungle The Thick because of how dense it is and only the bandits, cut-throats, and thieves know how to navigate without issue. Spring is dangerous for those unknown to the risks as the flowers begin to pollinate. Some are excellent poisons, others are aphrodisiacs strong enough to make even the largest of creatures go into a lustful frenzy. Some of the trees have sap that is harvested due to their properties of being a excellent choice with liqueur. Nae Sha is not a place for those of a good heart, and being nice get's you killed. Not only is the capital known for these but also in dealings with prostitution, slaves, and it's black market. They have one rule alone...do what you must to survive, do what you want when you want, there is no room for weakness. The current leader The Butcher is a savage one at that. People often try to overthrow is rule of power but fail constantly. He not only refuses to die but punishes those who attempt his life with a public brutal killing.

Nation: Aramid
Capital: Grand Wastes
Commander: T'mal
God: Sharaxxian
God race: Sandwyrm

The nation of Aramid is far to the west of Nae Sha and Vorpal Arise and located east of the western coast. It is a barren desert wasteland and was recorded to be a once beautiful land full of life. Now it has constant danger lurking in the sands. Grand Waste is one of the few actual cities in the area and the only place with confirmed safety from the dangers that lurk below. It is rumored that the Dra'frem originated here as the barren sands have ruins that show dragon burial grounds indicated signs that the Dra'frem had a part with the creation of such. Despite the harsh conditions the people of the Aramid nation are exceptional scavengers, and trackers. Other nations often hire their spell-swords for this reason to search into dangerous ruins and war torn battlegrounds. The primary resource they have is also glass making. Either it be for art, windows, or practical use they are well desired for their skill set by everyone.

Nation: Darkwaters
Capital: Lost Cove
Commander: Halycron Fairsteed
Goddess: Minvera
God race: Abyssal

The nation of Darkwaters lies in the entire western coast. Hal's mother is actually Minvera. Minvera fell in love with Magnus for his brutal force and combat style that he shown during the first war Grand Central was apart of when he was commander. His only goal was to show that he was just as strong as his father. Magnus spent some of his time here to travel to Aramid for training with Sharaxxian. This is when Minvera was starting to eye Magnus. The nation of Darkwaters primary resource is fishing, it often rains and has frequent storms which is why the capital of Lost Cove is located in the cliff side as with other towns to avoid being flooded. The Abyssal race that resides in the ocean often trade with the nation of Darkwaters. The nation itself refuses to talk about Abyssals to other nations as the race itself is not viewed in positive light by others. This is due to before Darkwaters became a nation the Abyssal race attacked settlers and refused to get along. Minvera did not agree to stop her kinds actions till Tyr became a god and talked her into being more supportive.

Nation: Forbidden
Capital: Tower of IX
Commander: Unknown
God: Marketh
God race: Undead

The swamp lands to the far north west of Tera Arise. A forbidden place of entry and one for good reason. It is a far more hostile region than that of Nae Sha and once consumed and smells of death. The last of the elder dragons is hiding in this area knowing well that not even Tyr would search for him there. The tower of IX has little information aside from nine people who control it. The followers to the council of IX are maniac worshipers who perform rituals of sacrifice often. The IX are the cause of the first Blight War. Max Goldbane was still a retainer for Magnus Hellbane during this time and is when he shown his worth to become the next commander of Grand Central. The first Blight War lasted for nearly four decades and desecrated much of the land. Currently now without the people of Tera Arise to know they are planning their next attack to start another war. The region before was once a lush forest area and was where the god Ermak lived. Till Marketh was partially revived. When Marketh was partially revived was when the blight war started. The goal was to take over the other nations and sacrifice the people to fully regain his power to destroy Tera Arise and kill off Ermak for banishing him. Marketh was banished for his lust of death and maniacal want for control. Markteth hates Tyr and Magnus with a passion as Tyr took his seat as a god and Magnus for banishing him once more.

Further details of certain characters who are critical to the story.

Max Goldbane: A Wyvern who came from nowhere it seemed. No one knew who his family was which was odd, he had no records and was very keen on avoiding the topic. He went under the alias of Smithy and raised Hal even training him most of his life to become the next commander. He wanted him to take his place and no one else. Max was adamant on this since Hal was born and no one knew why. The true identity of Max Goldbane is actually Tyr in disguise.

Ermak: A treant god of nature and life who resides now in the Fabled Woods which is in Grand Central Union territory. He has moved here since Marketh tried to kill him. He is the oldest of the gods and has the one thing Marketh wants the most. The Seed of Creation which has been used by Ermak to create the life in Tera Arise and who is responsible for creating new gods. After a god passes away a Demi-God is promoted after a vote with the others. The only exception to this was Tyr who was human.

Magnus Hellbane: Hal's father and a Demi-God. He has no interest in becoming a god as he loathed how people expected great things from him due to his father being Tyr. He earned the title Hellbane during his time training in Aramid. Normally Wyverns focus only on the fire magic and are experts in the field. He wanted to be different and began to look for Dra'frem artifacts. He found one he was keen a tome about the different dragons and elder dragons. Using this knowledge he figured out how to harness the earthen magic with Ermaks help. The title of Hellbane was given because during his training he made his fire into lava and it reminded people of Vorpal Arise.

Minvera: Hal's mother who is of the Abyssal race and a goddess. The only information he has about the race are the attributes. They tend to use thunder based magic and just like Wyverns can create their own element by harnessing arcane around them. Typically mages have to use tools to be able to cast magic for spells and those that have an element need something to use said element. Abyssals trade with Far Cae also as they are the only ones capable of creating magic items to store the thunder element.

The next post will be a detailed post on my character. This will explain his abilities, knowledge, and personality along with what he is capable of.

Hal RavenHawk
Race: Wyvern/Abyssal Minor-Demi-God
Height: 5' 8''
Weight: 140 IBS
Hair: White
Eye Color: Blue-Grey
Body Build: Slim but athletic
Penis length: 7 inches

Wyverns have a combat style known as Wyvern Arts. This combat style was created by Tyr and further enhanced by Magnus. They utilize the core which all Wyverns have. By creating heat inside their core they can increase blood flow to transfer it quickly around their body. This allows for them to radiate heat and produce flames. This was how the dragons in Tera Arise were able too also.

While this flow happens the skins harden further. Normally their skin is as strong as dragon hide and scales, but with the increase flow the only known metal to be able to pierce into the skin effectively with less force is Oracalite. They can still be cut by other metals but it takes more effort to critically wound them. The IX however found a way around this by creating the Blight which weakens their defense greatly.

The core has a downside. Too much heat and it's prone to cracking. This makes them go into an uncontrollable frenzy and is often deadly. The only Wyverns known to survive this are Tyr, Magnus, and Hal (Barely).

Wyverns often enough get better at controlling their core from training, practice, sex, combat, and endurance in hot temperatures. Hal is no where near as powerful as his father let alone his grandfather Tyr. Tyr wanted Hal to become the next commander because he has more potential than his father. This is due to the fact he is a mix of two races. Unlike Tyr and just like his father he has to train himself to become stronger. Even more so he has to overcome a greater challenge if he wants to be as strong as his grandfather. A feat many Wyverns say is impossible for him and only his father has the chance. Ermak knows Tyr is correct that he has more potential than his father and possibly even him. Ermak now wishes to focus his efforts with Tyr to train Hal as he can possibly kill Marketh.

During some of his training with Smithy(Tyr) and Ermak when his core cracked worried the two gods. His flame turned pitch black and the lighting he was capable of making turned a neon blue. This was how he gained the title Ravenhawk as the blackened flames were the same color and looked like the feathers of the bird and the neon blue lighting streaks looked like the shine and element the bird had. He had barely lived after the ordeal and it took weeks till his core was fully recovered from damage.

Most Wyverns tend to live up to 500 years in age. Hals father Magnus is around 700 and Tyr is around 820. Hal himself is only 26.
Despite their physical strength being stronger than a human on average Magnus his father has said he has met a few orcs who challenge even him in a fist fight. Golems in Vorpal Arise can easily bruise Magnus. Hal has only fought one golem for training and suffered from several injuries. It was during this training is what caused his core to crack. It was the only thing that helped him defeat a single golem but in the end he received several scars on his body. If he was like the average Wyvern he would have been killed before the core cracked.

His training is still going on and even my Smithy(Tyr) has told Hal if it were the Blight War a Blight Alpha would still easily kill him.
