Grand Central Union is the youngest of the seven nations. It was first a small town created by Tyr located on a island not far from the eastern coast line. Tyr started the town when he was becoming more popular to the people of Tera Arise for his actions and strength. Tyr who's lastname is unknown came from a nomadic tribe known as Dra'frem the wyvern word for Dragon Follower. The Dra'frem followed elder dragons and worshiped them to a exalted status. They cared much about the protection of their secrets and habits. Records in the Grand Central Library indicate they had detailed knowledge of behaviors and practices. Records of Tyr indicate that he was out hunting for game when he came back to see the elder dragons attack his people. This caused Tyr to be consumed by anger and hate. He took his peoples knowledge and used it to his advantage.
Tyr was only 17 when his people were killed and became the last. He spent another four years to track and located elder dragons. He barely lived after fighting off his first elder dragon at the age of 25. When he came into Far Cae with the head of his first elder dragon people learned that he killed it himself. A daunting task that surprised even the high mages in Far Cae. He kept the skull and core to study and learned a year later that if he took their horns, teeth, and core and infused them into himself he could become stronger. His knowledge of this process is unknown as the only research notes that Far Cae of this seemed badly burnt and not readable. The only word translated was the wyvern word for core Het'ran which meant Heat Source. After Tyr infused the materials into his body he felt power surge in himself. The amount of arcane that coursed in his body changed him slowly. He began to hunt down more elder dragons and repeat this process. Due to these actions the people of Tera Arise heard and began to call him a dragon eater.
These actions also caught the eyes of the gods at the time. Specially one known as Ermak. Ermak was the god of life and nature. Tyr stumbled upon his dwellings while hunting down an elder dragon. Ermak who was impressed by his feats considered impossible to most granted him a boon to help further increase his strength. This was the moment that the first Wyvern was born. He was no longer human and began to fully utilize the hidden power that he was infusing into his body. Tyr at the time was just hitting his mid 30's and after his hunt took time to look into himself of what he was capable of.
Tyr kept detailed recordings of his findings reporting that he had an increased amount of blood flow, able to produce his own heat to stay warm or resist the heat from other sources, His skin hardened to be almost the same strength as a dragons scale. While he continued his hunts his power grew further and further with each infusion. He was then able to produce flames, he became tougher than a dragons scale and hide, his eye sight improved for both day and night, along with the amount of detail seen at a distance. By the time he was 40 he had nearly killed every elder dragon that existed in Tera Arise. Many people did not dare to fight him or anger him. They were starting to become terrified. He had then set up a small town to be called Hren'ok which ment Safe Home. He took in all types of people granting a safe place to stay and live. The same people became the first generation of the future city. Instead of him hunting elder dragons they began to hunt him. He went to protect his new home and continued his path. Only one elder dragon remains alive today in Tera Arise hiding out of pure fear.
Ermak had sent messengers to have Tyr come back to him. Impressed by his deeds Ermak convinced the other gods to all grant him a boon. The rite of passage to become a god. No one knows why the elder dragons attacked his people, but he rebuilt everything himself. By this time Tyr was already 120 years old. He didn't look a day over the age of 60. When he came back to tell the people of Hren'ok of the news, he began to grant boons to his people now three generations in. These became the first people to become wyverns. Tyr had spent his time to teach them everything he had known on the attributes of being a wyvern. However he noticed that they were far weaker than he had hoped for. It was then he noticed one female who had exceptional talent and a natural affinity. They soon had a child. This was Magnus Hellbane. Once his son had reach the age of 10, Tyr left the town to be under Caine's care. Caine was another great student of his who had proved his loyalty to their ways.
Caine had renamed Hren'ok to Grand Central once they were acknowledged by the other nations and was given land. This began the Grand Central Union.
