Heh, I've had the idea for mine for years. Like TK said - it means something to me. The reason I'm getting it done when I turn 18 is because it's my "escape", my wings symbolizing my freedom.

There are others that I plan to get as well, but I'm still mulling these over and they've been planned far more recently so I will , probably wait to get them.
Jumi, I like. I didn't know you had tattoos.

Tegan - is that one of yours? Any story behind yours?

Too many skin problems, though. And I don't want ink to still be there when I'm old and wrinkly. T___T
Cool tattoo you wanna get Kitti! Too many people are into the angel wings but that suits you.
 
I'm saving this awesome celtic knot design I found for when I finally snap some day, gonna have in inked in rust red at the base of my spine.
 
got a quote and at $250 the mermaid is slated for sometime between this month and the middle of next month. first tat! w00t!
