*Tales of Orenthia*

The guards seemed to patrol the area forever. They walked back and forth in the same way, one pass the other. Tetsuri growled lowly, they were really pissing him off now. The trees rustled at little with his movement and one of the guards stopped. He looked directly at the bush and Tetsuri winced a bit. A bead of sweat formed on his left tempo and he ducked a bit more behind the bushes. The guard stared for a bit longer, then shrugged and began walking again.

A breathe of relief escaped Tetsuri's lips. That was way to close for comfort. His ears flickered a bit and he looked around the area for a place to move around. There wasn't a bush, pathway, or building that wasn't guarded by the Order soldiers. Alright, if he couldn't go through or around, he would just have to take take the high route. Tetsuri turned his attention to a building on his right. The guards were patrolling heavily around the building. He waited for the two turn their attention away from the building, then he dashed quickly behind them and jumped on the roof. Thanks to his cat-like reflexes, the landing was quiet and soft.

He took one peek back at the two soldiers, then dashed from rooftop to rooftop, towards the main courtyard of the Order's base.

The preparation for her marriage was a pleasurable one for the maids of the Order. They took delight into making Iliana look presentable for Terrios, giggling like giddy little school girls when they finally got a hold of Iliana. Terrios saw that Iliana was to be tossed into the maiden chamber to be prepped up. He made very sure to tell the maids that if Iliana so much as glanced in a bad direction, to page him on the radios that were stationed all over the compound of the chambers. A few of the maids raised their noses in disapproval of Iliana, wondering why the woman would fuss about being married to the great Terrios. Iliana decided not to humor them, keeping her eyes downcast to avoid any questions the maids planned on throwing towards her.

The makeup didn't even begin to touch over the bruises and rashes painted across her face. Iliana, for the moment, was a purple and auburn dalmatian, cuts and bruises blotched across her cheeks. Her left eye puffed up, closing around her pupil to make her look as if it had been closed the entire time. An oval of purple colored around her eye, masked a little bit by makeup, but not too much. Anyone with eyes would see that Iliana had a beating before her big day. The maids tried their hardest to make it look inconspicuous, but to no avail. Iliana stared at the ground with pursed lips as they weaved her around in around in the white dress.

White. Purple. Blue. Tetsuri.

The sting of oncoming tears threatened to break past the gates of her eyes. She didn't sniff through her nose or even whimper out like she would usually do when she was sad or upset. Iliana remained blank, hiding behind the facade that everything was okay. That nothing was wrong with the world and that everywhere she turned was peace. She thought about Ritesa and Xavien, how good they must be doing relaxing in some Orenthia paradise. She thought about Tetsuri, traveling to do his own thing with no care in the world. She was getting married, the highlight of a woman's life.

The blush on her cheek smeared behind a rolling tear. One of the maids gave Iliana an annoyed smile at her now ruined makeup looked on her. The woman's fingers reached for the radio Terrios pointed out earlier, shooting Iliana the same annoyed glare even as she looked towards the ground. Iliana's eyes slid off the floor and to the maid, paralyzing her in place. The maid's face twisted in regret and fear as Iliana returned her glare back to the ground. She would not be treated like some caged dog.

He still didn't understand it Why would his father do these things to them? Why would he turn his heart to darkness? What could have happened to him? He was so kind and gently. A man of peace and prosperity. Someone who only wanted to see the world for beauty and love. Now, he was nothing more than a tyrant who wanted to rule the land with hatred. Ever since his mother's disappearance, his father was always acting so strangely. It was as if he had something to do with it. At the time he was little, Tetsuri would spy on his father. He was always forcing himself upon the maids and worker girls.

Each one of them would beg him to stop, but it seemed that it only fueled his sickened desires. He wanted to help those women so badly, but he was a mere child. There was nothing he would have been able to do, even if opportunity gave way. To face his father as a child would have only ended in him face first on the floor with a boot resting on top of his head. Those images, those screams, they all sounded like Iliana now. Flashbacks played and instead of a little boy watching a woman being forced upon by his father, it was his present self. He watched it all, the woman who was placed against the counter. Her image couldn't be seen clearly. At first, it seemed to be the woman, but a closer look stunned him and shocked him. I-it was....It was.....I-Iliana....

She was....enjoying herself....Enjoying herself with his father. She called out his name as she gave a pleasurable moan. Tetsuri stood in shock as he shook in pain, clinching his heart and dropping to one knee. It was so intense. The feeling was like daggers that pierced though him, threatening to take his life. He looked down at the floor for a few seconds then back up at the two.

They were looking down at him, laughing and pointing at him. Their image grew and overshadowed him, then vanished as he ended the thoughts. He would be damned if he let that happen. It would be a cold chance in hell!

Tetsuri slid of the side of a building and landed behind it. He placed his back against the wall and placed his cloak over his mouth. The main building of the base was right next to the one he stood by. Now, it was time to take Iliana back. Tetsuri closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
I won't let that bastard do that to her.

Tetsuri turned around, then leaped up and landed on top of the main buildings glass, see-through roof.

The procession was ready to go, but Iliana was the last one that was cheering. As soon as all of the higher-ups made their way into the grand hall, people began to hoot and holler with cheers of giddy happiness. Iliana stood in the back, peering through a bruised eye and a good eye at all of the gay faces. They were seriously all happy that Terrios was now going to be wedded. They didn't know Iliana from a hole in the ground and probably had no idea that she was the Oni. Terrios would definitely not be the one to tell them, either. He would just pretend that Iliana was an average woman that he 'fell in love with.'

The sick bastard.

The wedding march began to play on a golden organ, made of real, authentic gold at that. Terrios made no mistake in getting the best for his special day. Once the second verse of the song hooted out of the pipes of the organs, a soldier behind Iliana gave her a hard push in her back with the butt of his gun. She kept the plastered look of disgust on her face as her feet shuffled off onto the carpet. The minute her body glowed in the dim, overhead chandelier, the crowd let out a loud roar of applause. Apparently, they didn't think nothing of the scowl on her face, the red and purple bruises lining her neck, and the large, red rash on her cheek from the earlier smack. There was a small cut on the right side of her upper lip that no one noticed. Her right eye fought to stay open, and yet they continued to cheer.

What is wrong with these people?, she thought, her eyes darting to Terrios who held the smuggest smile she had ever seen on his face before since her short time of meeting him. A sting of anger sniped through her lower abdomen, eyes dropping to a purple before lifting back to a dark orange, going unnoticed by everyone, including Terrios.

Iliana was getting mad.

She wasn't in the room that he looked in. It looked to be a dressing room. One much like his mother's dressing room. Wait, in fact, it was his mothers very own dressing room. There were the maids there, sitting on the bed in their black dresses and gossiping about things he couldn't hear. The room was a magnificent white, aligned with blew rugs that wore the Order's symbol. Upon the dressers were jewelry of the finest pearls and colors. Some were even made of Diamond and Gold. There was also his mothers bed, in the far left of the room, resting in between two Oak wood tables.

The bed had silver bed sheets, with silvers trimmings that rested over white bed spreads. That was the bed in which the maids sat on. He didn't look at the rest of the room. Only at those few things that reminded him of his mother and gave him memories. The others were just regular furniture. Tetsuri began to move slowly on the glass to the east. , where the next building room was.

Each step was careful, because it would have made a creaking noise, if he moved to fast. It took a few minutes, but he finally made it over to the next room. That is when what he saw angered him dearly. Down below him, there were people. All of those people were dressed in the finest of clothing. It was the type of clothing that they formally wore to....Wait a minute.....A wedding? There was a wedding going on, but with who? Who could be getting married at such a time like this. At the moment he could see a woman in a beautiful white dress. She looked about the same height as Iliana, but that didn't mean that it was her.

He examined a little closely.....There was blood on the dress. A look of shock crept up like a snake on his face. To the right was his father, dressed in a suit. He was smiling and all the others were too. Tetsuri became angry. He growled. He snarled. The power pulsated from Iliana, suddenly triggered something within him.

Something dark and cold. His eyes flashed red, then back to purple. His breathing became heavy, as his hair fell over his eyes.

Ili..ana...

"You all have been gathered here today to witness the birthing of a couple. The breath of love has filled the lungs of these two very people, and we are here to witness their bond in holy matrimony. Our dear Lord Terrios has found a woman who will stand beside him, cherish him, and praise him for who he is and what he has done for Orenthia. No other love like that could ever be found. Let this be an example for all who hope of finding their true love in the midst of their lives. Terrios and his wife were meant to be here today, together, hand in hand ,as they vow to spend the rest of eternity in each other's warm embrace."

A loud cheer went up once the preacher was finished with his little speech. A speech that made Iliana sick to the stomach. She couldn't keep her eyes off of Terrios and his malicious, smiling face. In his eyes, she saw evil, chaos, and destruction. He was out there sending soldiers to kill innocent people of various towns right now, but there the people were, cheering for him like he was some sort of god. Iliana took a sideways glance at the people cheering and frowned. It hurt her to see what that part of Orenthia had become. She desperately wanted to believe they were being brainwashed, but she just couldn't. There was no glazed look in their eyes. They were all happy for Terrios and Iliana.

They were rooting for chaos.

"And, without further ado, Do you, Lord Terrios, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold until Orenthia's fate bears down upon you, sending you both into an eternal slumber? Do you take her to be the Goddess to your God, the Queen to your Kingdomship, the Empress of your Empire?"

"I do." Terrios said smugly, bringing out another shout in the crowd. Iliana flinched but didn't say a word.

"And, do you, Iliana, take Lord Terrios to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold until Orenthia's fate bears down upon you, sending you both into an eternal slumber? Do you take him to be your God, your King, and your Emperor?" Iliana's orange eyes lifted up to the preacher's as she shook a bit. Her lips parted, her mouth opening, but nothing came out. Terrios was glaring at her, she could tell, and most of the crowd awaited her words on hushed breaths.

"I...I-I..."

There was a blast of cheers that echoed within the church. Tetsuri could feel the darkness slowly pumping its toxic within his body. It snaked around inside him, as the rage, hate and anger piled up. With each heartbeat, his chest would thump as if it were going to pop out of his chest. He could feel his teeth sharpen, return to normal multiple times. His eyes flashed red constantly and his claws grew long and pointy. He kept gasping. Gasping as if he couldn't breathe, as if he were slipping away. Darkness is what slowly began to appear before his eyes.

That is when he heard the priest. Those words he spoke had made him even more angry. Along with his father gladly agreeing to what the priest said. This was a travesty. It was a mockery. It was nothing more than an evil plan to get the Oni's power. His father didn't lover her. The marks and bruises upon her face represented that. He began to despise his father even more than he did. They did this to him. Rave and his father had turned him into something he had never asked for! It was because of him that everything in his life had fell apart. It was because of him that everything was fallen to hell and chaos. People like him had to be weeded out and destroyed in order to make the world safe!

How dare he stand there and speak as if he were so peaceful. It was a lie! Everything about his father was a lie! Tetsuri's blue aura began to surround him, only this time, blackness mixed in and twisted in snaking ling, that trailed down his face. The glass began to slowly crack under pressure with each pulse of his power. He was starting to lose control, but he didn't care. Everything his father did to him would be ended here and now!

The moment that he heard Iliana's voice, his head shot up and he looked down at her. If she completed that sentence, all of Orenthia was doomed.

"I...I-I..."

CRACKKKKKKK!!!!

Tetsuri broke through the glass ceiling and yelled at the top of his lungs as his tears trailed off behind him in straight lines.

"ILIANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"
He yelled out as he landed on his left knee, using his right hand to cushion the landing. Glass feel around him, and his cloak floated upward with the quick wind current, then rested on his back. The aura flared around Tetsuri like a wild fire. He stood up slowly, gritting his teeth and peering through his bangs with red, cold eyes.

His fangs were long and his claws were sharp. It was as if he wasn't himself, only he was.

"Father! You have brought chaos and nothing but pain! Many people have suffered and now this. How dare you defile our family name and do to to Iliana? Everything you taught me, everything you showed me. You were so much different back then. I don't know what happened to you, but you are mad with power and for that...I must....

He stopped himself and looked at Iliana.

"I must stop you here and now! Iliana, I am going to save you and bring you back with me safely!"

Iliana flinched when she heard the crash of the glass, but it didn't scare as much as it should of. She only figured it was Terrios controlling his men to do something incredibly ridiculous for his wedding.

It was when she heard her name...from his voice...

Iliana turned her head around slowly, orange hair filling her movement. It took one glance into the air to see that her conclusion was confirmed. There, following down with glass showering and raining around him, was the very guy who allowed her to be taken by the Order in the first place. Oddly enough, she was not thinking about that. She wasn't thinking about the former argument she held with him, how angry he seemed when she stormed away from him without so much as a goodbye. What she saw was Tetsuri's aura bursting out into a dazzling array of blue, black, and red.

"Tetsuri..."

"MEN! AT ARMS!" Iliana didn't have time to enjoy seeing Tetsuri's grand entrance when a soldier grabbed a fistful of her hair, yanking both the veil and her head back. She felt her neck crack slightly, yelling out in pain as her arms were pulled behind her back as well. The crowd suddenly realized that all of this was real...yet they didn't move. They all sat with shocked expressions, waiting to see how Terrios, their master, would take it.

"Tetsuri..!"she whimpered, but a cracking smack across her face from a soldier's gun got her to shut up, her newly healing lip busting open in blood again. She choked and coughed, her head whipping to the ground. Meanwhile, Terrios stood poised with a smile on his face, clapping slowly as Tetsuri finished his speaking.

"Ah, Son. You always talked to damn much for my tastes. Need I remind you who and what you're messing with?" Without moving at all, Terrios's aura cracked across his back, filling his entire body slowly before disappearing. Nothing but a simple act trying to scare Tetsuri. Iliana, still coughing, looked up, her dimly lit orange eyes filling with tears.

"Te-Tetsuri..."

Guns clicked. Soldiers readied themselves.
Everything seemed almost in slow motion, like an action film, or something from a superhero movie. Only this was reality. A reality that he didn't like. All that he could think of now was defeating his father and take back Iliana from his clutches. The people who attended the wedding were all still baffled by the intruder that crashed through the roof. When one of the soldiers cracked his gun across Iliana's face, another set of tears jerked from his eyes as a sharp pain hit his chest like a knife.

His aura was boiling. The ground beneath his feet pulsed with his power. The church shook only slightly. Iliana's pain was his fuel. This man that stood before him, how dare he.....How dare he take what was valuable to him in this world. Taking Iliana was like taking his world away from him. His father's voice echoed within his ears painfully.

His hands dropped at his sides, forming into fist that were masked in black aura as well. His fangs began to protrude once more and the room slowly became black, blocking out any and all that were around. It swallowed everything in his vision, which was also blackening like the night. He looked before him at the now grinning Iliana and Terrios. Those twisted looks that rested on their faces. Tetsuri's body jerked in any and all directions.

This wasn't her.

This Iliana was a fake.

She was much kinder that this.

She was one of the reasons that Orenthia needed to be saved.

.................

.................

NO! This is all a lie! This isn't how destiny wanted the two of them to be! Tetsuri raised his hands above his head and then threw them down at his side once more. With a mighty scream, the darkness shattered and Tetsuri's head shot up into the air as he screamed out.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The ground rumbled and began to shake intensely as Tetsuri's aura twisted and shot up through the roof of the church. Wings of black appeared on his back and he growled angrily. His body jerked and the aura dispersed, shooting throughout the building. He summoned his Aurioth Blades, which where now a crimson red. Tetsuri stood quietly. He looked over at the soldiers, who were at the ready and spoke in a cold, dark voice.

"Come."
