Welcome to Aurora Nova Academy for Superhuman Beings, or more commonly known as Super Hero High. Here, our experienced professors are dedicated to teaching our students everything they need to know to become excellent superheroes in the future. Our students may participate in any of our after school activities and inter-school sports. We encourage teamwork and harmony between students, and hope every pupil to walk through the gates of our prestigious academy will thrive as excellent superheroes in the future.

THE SCHOOL

The classrooms; Our simple yet effective classrooms provide a balanced environment of education, social time and fun for our students. Our dedicated professors provide entertaining, informative, practical lessons that are guaranteed to leave the students wanting more.

The cafeteria; Our large, clean cafeteria provides a friendly, social environment for our students. The chatter, friendly gossip and study going on in here almost -- almost -- excuses the terrible food.

The lockers; At Super Hero High we take the maintenance of our school property very seriously. Over the years, we have kept our lockers in pristine condition. Any vandalism of a school locker will result in immediate suspension.

The library; We provide the best possible library facilities for our pupils. The two floors of shelves contain books on a wide variety of subjects, from the physics of flight powers to exotic Amazonian tree frogs. The library is a quiet, tranquil place. Any and all noisemakers will be punished severely.

The change rooms; with the same strict rules regarding the lockers, the change rooms of our school remain in the tip-top condition they were built in.

The gym; Our shiny gym is open to all students during lunch and recess. A wide variety of sports, both normal and super, can be played in the gym.

The football field; Even a superhero school has a football field! Located behind the football field is another oval, where other sports are played.

THE RULES (MUST READ)

1. Please only use realistic images for your characters.
2. Your character may only have three super powers. You may use any superpower you can think of, but you must describe it in detail.
3. You may not play your own boyfriend/girlfriend/crush. I'm sorry, this just really annoys me for some reason.
4. Write 'mechtat' at the bottom of your character skeleton to prove you have read the rules.
5. Please try to be active at least once every two days. If you are going to be away for an extended period of time, please let everybody know in the OOC.
6. Respect one another OOC.
7. I have the right to reject any character I believe is not up to my standard. I also have the right to ask you to change anything about your character.

Any and all ice she creates will never melt, unless she wills it away. She can trap anyone in a prison of ice, and freeze anything on contact, which is why she wears gloves. Due to her ice powers, Mischa naturally emits cold from her body, although she is personally immune to it and cannot feel it. Mischa and Paul were always quite close; starting from when Mischa was five, Paul would let Mischa dress him up in her princess gowns and makeup, and, in turn, Mischa would play soccer and video games with her brother. Mischa and Paul never had close relationships with their younger siblings, Danica, Andy and Nina, as they did with each other.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#808080]Superpowers were never an abnormal thing in the Vauschen household. Both Anna and Mikhail possessed superpowers; Anna had super speed, and Mikhail has super strength. However, Mischa was the only child who developed superpowers. Mischa discovered her powers at age eight, when she touched a PlayStation remote and it froze. Since then, Mischa has always been wearing her gloves. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#808080]Mikhail, who's sister, Maria, had possessed an earth ability similar to Mischa's powers, trained Mischa to use and control her ice powers. He has two types of mist; one paralyses anyone and anything that comes into contact with it, and the other kills anyone who comes into contact with it. The mist is conjured from his hands. He can control how fast the mist moves, how much of it is conjured and who it affects; if he were in a crowded place, he can except his allies from his mist. [/BCOLOR]

He can cause anybody immense pain -- pain that strongly resembles being burned at the stake. The pain leaves no physical marks, as it is all in the victim's head. He has huge red marks around his eyes, which is an actual medical condition called Dark Eye Syndrome. [BCOLOR=#00ff00]Isaac never met his mother or father, so he has no idea who he inherited the super gene. His mother dumped him on the front doorstep of an orphanage in Britain. The women who ran the orphanage took him in, but after about four years of Isaac living there, they could see something was wrong with him. Things went strange when Isaac was involved; other orphans would get hurt, yet no physical marks would appear on their skin. They would become still and silent, yet no one could explain why.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#00ff00]When Isaac was fifteen, a representative of the school found him when she was looking for a child to adopt. She immediately adopted Isaac, seeing that the boy possessed superpowers. Standing at five feet and three inches, Terry's on the shorter side, and also rather slim. She inherited her father's dark gray eyes and curly black hair, and she has a tattoo of a pair of wings on her back. They're angel wings, and they are a watercolor tattoo and purple in color. Her hair is very soft.

She wears a black tunic with long sleeves that end in fingerless gloves, a pair of dark gray leggings, combat boots, her black beanie, and a black mask.

She's a bit reckless and irresponsible, and she tends to be overprotective of people she cares about. She has a habit of forgetting about schoolwork, and she tends to dive into battle without waiting to see if anyone else is ready, or if there's a plan or anything. She's a 'do now, apologize later' kind of person. She's also not the most social person--she can be very brusque to new people, or people in general, who she doesn't know, and she doesn't trust easily. However, if you do become friends with her, she's a very loyal friend and she's very protective of her friends, to the point that some of them get annoyed with her because she'll be constantly watching out for you. She also refuses to let anyone talk shit about her friends, and she will kick the crap out of anyone who tries. Terry's most overprotective and loyal to her twin sister, Mattie, and if anyone so much as says something mean to Mattie, Terry's probably going to try and attack them on the spot. Despite her tendency to be rude to people who try to talk to her initially, she is a pretty okay person if you get to know her, but she has a thick outer shell to get past first. Mattie's constantly telling people that her sister "is a nice person, really!" because people rarely see it initially. Terry often seems to be annoyed or angry, and she is generally very bitter about life, and this is part of what leads her to be rude to new people and not trust people. Terry also happens to like getting her way, and is very stubborn and headstrong, and has a tendency to use her powers to get what she wants, and also as a defense mechanism against people she deems dangerous.

When Terry and Mattie were five, they were in a restaurant when a man with a bomb burst in, shot and killed their parents and several other people, and threatened to blow the place up. Terry and Mattie hid under the table for several hours as police negotiated the situation, and Terry was forever changed by the experience of watching her parents die in front of her and having to hide in fear for hours, not knowing what was going to happen. She grew up more cynical than she might have, believing that the world is full of people who don't mean well. When she was eight, she discovered her powers in an argument with another kid, when she grabbed their arm and tried to make them give her the toy they were arguing over, and suddenly their face went slack and they handed her the toy. She wasn't sure what was going on at first, but her mother had had superpowers and Terry's aunt realized right away that Terry had some kind of superpower. Terry became enamored with the idea of getting what she wanted, and started using her superpower on other kids to make them leave her alone until Mattie made her stop. Terry still has a tendency to use her powers when things start to get out of hand with people, or when people are bothering her, or as a defense mechanism. Terry has PTSD from what happened when she was five, and she has panic attacks now and then.
Terry met Love when Terry made a rude remark and Love retaliated with a remark, and they got into a squabble and made up in detention. They've been friends since, although Mattie disapproves of the friendship, and when Terry's around Love she can't help the temptation of messing with her twin's mind a bit so that Mattie will stop being so disapproving all the time.

Mattie's very friendly and responsible, with a very strong sense of right and wrong. She makes friends easily and has a near-constant happiness that tends to make other people around her happy, and she's a very caring person who always listens to what everyone has to say. She's good at advising people on what to do, and if you want advice, she's great to talk to, or even if you just want to vent, she's great at listening. She's a good problem solver. Mattie is also always the one cleaning up after other people, particularly her sister, and she's always the one who looks out for Terry's well-being and reminds her to do things like her homework and eat food and things Terry sometimes forgets about doing. Mattie's always there for her friends and her sister, and she always sticks up for her sister no matter what, and if her sister is ever in trouble, Mattie will be there in a heartbeat. She protects her sister no matter what, although she won't attack people who are mean to Terry the way Terry will; Mattie protects her sister by keeping her safe, watching her back, and reprimanding those who talk about Terry behind her back, and being there for Terry in the event of a panic attack. Mattie and her sister went through the same thing, and while it traumatized Mattie and gave her PTSD as well from having a shot fired right over her head, she's worked with a therapist to get over her PTSD and rarely has panic attacks anymore. She learned of her powers when she was eight as well, because she was trying to diffuse a situation between her sister and another person, and suddenly she managed to force calm on everyone. Her aunt realized Mattie, too, had powers, but Mattie is scared of her powers to this day because she dislikes the idea of manipulating people's emotions and she rarely uses them unless she absolutely has to. Mattie grew up much less cynical than Terry and still believes good things have to happen to balance out the bad things. She probably turned out like this because she got therapy, while Terry absolutely refused it.
Mattie met Mischa when Terry was in detention, and Mischa began talking to her. The two of them kept seeing each other around and eventually they became friends.

Melancholy is one word to describe her, as is quiet. Growing up one of eight sisters, she's used to not really getting much of a say in things, although she's also used to having a lot of people around to talk to and gets lonely easily. She has severe depression that affects everything she does, and she often seems sad, even on days when she's doing okay, and she's generally very low energy. She's also kind of shy, because she's used to having her sisters around to talk for her and introduce her to people. Powers are very common in her family--her mother, Alaula, is photokinetic and can control light, her father can create mists and fog, her sister Halida has super speed, her sister Casey has a personal reality power, her sister Litsea can shapeshift, her sister Danny can speak in any language, her sister Kyra can speak to animals, her sister Annika can fly, and her sister Ashbelle has pyrokinesis, the ability to control fire. • Animal Manipulation: An ability to manipulate any animal however he wants, this type of power allows Angelo to ultimately have and do the following: Taming and Empathy (the ability to understand and/or feel the emotions of animals), Mind control over animalistic beings or forms as well as mentally link to them (form strong bonds), Sensory scurrying (Perceive through animal senses), and 'zoolinguism' an ability to verbally communicate with other animals if telepathy with them doesn't work. However such things are limited in a way as Angelo is still new with his powers slightly and is currently still experimenting around and improving his powers more.
• Animal imitation: Another one of Angelo's special powers, he is able to imitate other animals and their own abilities. Be it running like an ostrich, Swinging and climbing like a monkey, track like a dog, etc, he is able to have those abilities without transforming into an actual animal as that is called shape shifting and he cannot shapeshift. The power itself only enables him to mimic animalistic traits while still keeping his form but this power is very limited for Angelo as he is only able to mimic the animals he observes (NOT just mimic any animal he wants, it must be an animal he has seen or actually observed), and may experience different weaknesses of the animals he mimics. Like for example, a cat getting easily distracted by other things seen, however he can get over this if he trains hard enough to resist and get through such trivial things.
• Animal Morphing: Animal morphing allows Angelo to transform into animals--Extinct or still here, as well as use the abilities, traits and appearance/physiology of animals by rearranging his own DNA structure. He can fully form into them or just have some traits needed temporarily. Yet, It's not a simple task as he had just discovered this power very recently and since he's a beginner at it he is especially trying to get better at this hard ability. You may think 'well, Angelo can easily shift into an animal within seconds' but that kinda isn't the case exactly. Right now, Angelo similar to his animal manipulation and imitation, it's a must for him to observe animals carefully, and as for the extinct ones learn about them from what ever he could get his hands on. The more time he takes to practice and improve, the longer he can handle himself morphing into an animal without problem, as well as the more accurate he'll look. He can't just simply morph into an animal without having a specific small flaw, so accuracy and true morphing is a big thing for him. Like say he sees a stripeless tiger for example -yes they're real!- and there are no black prints seen, one flaw will be a black spot behind the ears or so, easily pointing him out, and easily making him give up the morphing act and turn back to normal. That is why he has an observing and more keen personality trait that's natural for him now. He can only look, and turn rather than visualize and turn into his desired morph. As for lasting long, Angelo can last fairly long but if a flaw is pointed out or he is caught in some trap he will naturally turn back to his human form. Such things to turn him back would be intense pain unless he can adapt himself to it.

Angelo is a slightly built and tall male who stands exactly at 6"0 with dark brown hair and solid icy eyes, often somehow mistaken as a blue green color. He has a signature yet natural pompadour or a 'quiff' hairstyle almost and it seems to be often done up, when in fact that's not the case as he doesn't always do his hair. It grows up and stays up. Although he appears lean, he's pretty built under all those clothing due to the fact that he has to stay fit for his shapeshifting, even if he doesn't have the costume on (others).

Blue Eyes: Angelo's eyes are a complete giveaway really, depending how smart you are and focused to make a connection that the animal man is him. His blue eyes are very very eye catching and alluring--Much like his mother's so it's pretty easy to tell that they're definitely related. He often dislikes his eyes due to the fact that it ruins the whole secret identity thing--But he also likes them. Complete mixed feelings about them.
Jawline: Angelo has sharp features, but another point besides eyes would be the shaping of his face and those powerful jawlines he bares.
Birthmark: Ironically, Angelo was born with a paw shaped birthmark under his left wrist. People often ask if it was a tattoo, to which he goes through the annoying event of explain how its a birthmark. This is also why he wears a wrist-length glove on his left hand in order to conceal it away while in combat. However, the mark appears in his animal forms.

Costume wise though as his alias, 'Bestial', he dons a Red and black outfit that's not to dark or light. Though it seems like just regular clothes, it's actually somewhat specially made to be more durable and somewhat elemental proof. Angelo wears a light armor under it and simply covers it up for more of a full and complete look affect wearing sleek looking yet stretchable red pants -with knee pads and shin pads- that adjusts to whatever movement he makes whether in intense combat or not and also wears some ankle high custom black and red men's boots. That's just the bottom part, as for the top part he seems to wear a black half long sleeved shirt which would be the light armor that is mostly located around his torso and shoulders mainly focusing in guarding his upper body more. By 'half long sleeve' I mean that one side -his right side- is a full sleeve and glove as one while his left side is a half sleeve stopping at the middle of his arm around his elbow. He separately wears another glove on his left and to summarize the torso wear, it's a sleeveless looking hoodie with large pockets and a snap button at the edges of the collar to button them together where it's fitted around his neck or to unbutton it. There seems to be a light neck guard around the back and sides of his neck only to support his neck incase large impacts are made and it has proven somewhat useful, yet can still break -just not really easily-.

As for the mask it is connected to his sleeveless hoodie to the neck padding which is also firmly stuck on the sleeveless hoodie. This blocks his facial identity ultimately and is connected to the hoodie because a 'separate mask' is an easy advantage to reveal ones identity. People may call the outfit trivial, but he's just trying to play it safe. Although he does wear a red domino mask sometimes depending on the weather and such.

Angelo is a pretty intelligent male. He is easy to talk to and quite laid back about things then he should be. Typically, he is a very approachable person depending how you view him as. Talking is a natural thing for him, and he is quite naturally very nice to others in truth. Being polite and all, as well as apologizing for little things he does and such.

Naturally you will see that Angelo has an instinct to help others out. Almost like a animalistic maternal instinct sort of thing you can say. Be it physically, mentally, etc due to his animal-like senses. Don't be alarmed that he's trying to bump into your business deliberately in a caring and concerning way while you're down or heavily angered. Somehow he has the uncanny ability with others socially and his words. He has many sixth senses, thus in a way can detect emotions. Often people mistaken his ways -especially women- as being a flirt and trying really hard to be their friend to date them later, when in fact that isn't the case. He's just a young man trying to help out really.

But this male.. is quite unpredictable. Yes, he is very warm-hearted seemingly and sociable but beware for if he doesn't like you, he'll talk about you behind your back. Of course he's very civil on the outside, but he's also just like any other person with standards on who he should hang with and who he shouldn't (not to be a stuck-up male or anything). And when the situation calls for it, he can be pretty manipulative for personal gain and such. He also has the tendency to complain about lots of things to his best friends, which they somehow tolerate. Some would say he's like a whiny fox.

Born as the bastard child of unmarried parents, It was in truth quite risky to have Angelo-Especially when his mother is a powerful sorcerous. When Angelo was finally born, he had most of his mother's power at first which strengthen his and weakened hers a bit. It was a painful and hard birth and with elders of the magical realm, they attempted to seal the large power within Angelo until he came of age--But the ritual was ultimately interrupted by Aleksander out of rage and greed.

He was angered beyond belief that his sister was conceiving a child with a shape shifter, and a powerful child at that. Before the birth, while pregnant he had asked his sister to give him a majority of her powers rather than the child, knowing that once conceived she would be in a very weakened state. But she refused and had held a grudge for months until the birth of Angelo. During the birth were the elders of sorcery, and Angelo's large wolf pack as well as 1 other one that was lead by a dear friend and ranked second powerful.

While Aleksander interrupted the ritual of sealing the power within Angelo until he came of age, Aleksander attempted to kill his sister and kidnap the child but failed when the elders stepped in to protect the woman. Although he failed to kill his sister, he managed to kidnap the child, Aleksander had in a way imprinted the child so that he would be able to find Angelo in the future and attempted to place a curse on him. But Alcide and his pack intruded as well and thus the man disappeared and left the child with the wolves who brought him back to his mother, who was both angered and relieved.

As months went by, it was pretty hard trying to figure out ways to conceal Angelo at first. Believe it or not, he had both his parent's powers when he was born. The symptoms of his magical side? Well--When he cried, chaos happened supposedly, and when he laughed happiness happened as his mother would put it. And his shapeshifting side? Well since his father had dominant wolf genes, Angelo also had a naturally physically dominant wolf-pup form growing up, When excited, he turned into a wolf pup by instinct, and when distressed he would bark and such. It was quite a stressful mix!

Angelo had a ravenous apetite, the tendency to accidentally use his hex powers, having powerful emotions that lead to him accidentally using his powers, and instincts of a wolf. He howled at night, bullied the other animals when he didn't mean to, and caused havoc at home. He was barely suitable to socialize with other humans it seemed but his mother and father tried hard to teach him lots of things about the 'human world'.

The family lived in a peculiar town. The population was filled with magical beings secretly and superhuman beings and such along with humans too. Further down was land and forests, which they actually lived in amongst Alcide's large wolf pack and elders at the perimeter. Although the spell of concealing the power's of Angelo worked. But it only took 5 years for Aleksander to comeback and reclaim the child. He had managed to kidnap his sister and put her in a weakened state again before battling the elders and pack. Alcide had successfully been kidnapped and Aleksander gained new powers because of his sister and the child.

Aleksander did his own ritual hurriedly, sure not to kill the kid and took out a manifestation of the child's magical powers, trapping it within his own being as it mixed with his own magical genes and made him stronger, and darker. Although he took most of Angelo's energy, Angelo's magical energy is believed to be in a comatose state and that when he was a few years old, it was his instincts that reacted and shut down a part of his powers to which Aleksander couldn't tell and took the rest he felt which weren't comatose.

He felt more powerful, and had technically won the battle as he handed back Waverlyn and Angelo. From then on he became wicked, and after that battle Waverlyn used everything she could to erase the terrible memory for Angelo with her own powers. She was still powerful, but not as powerful as before and now her brother was equal to her -power wise and all-.

With memories like that erased and the fact that he ever had hex powers like his mom, Angelo always thought that he was born more as a shapeshifter/wolf and that his hex powers are in a comatose state. But over time its been building up on its own really, and very slowly. As it builds up, The power Aleksander stole is weak against his and possibly getting weaker.

ALCIDE HERVEAUX | HERO, AKA; Fenrir | Father
Although Alcide was a hero, he didn't have a particular name. However whatever name he was given, it always meant 'wolf'--Seeing as one of his eye-catching morphing was a large wolf 'the size of a horse' which was often white. Alcide is a known shape-shifting hero/superhuman but unlike his son, he isn't limited to animals. He can transform into other humans as well and even objects for a certain amount of time. Believe it or nit, Alcide is more wolf (He comes from a family of wolves ; his mother was the shapeshifter).
His relationship with his son, Angelo is quite good. He disciplines the kid, and also helps train his son.

WAVERLYN MARTINELLI | HERO, AKA; White Witch | Mother
Waverlyn, also a famous superhero. or at least mystical being among the magical world and such. Her skills are quite powerful, and when she fell in love with Alcide she obviously conceived Angelo. Angelo's 'magical hex powers' are believed to be in a comatose state somewhat, however he seems to connect with his father's shapeshifting sides more. She is a sexy and cunning woman, usually using words as power and backwards speak her various spells.
Waverlyn also has a brother, who is villainous and her much more darker counterpart. Her relationship with Angelo is also very good.

ALEKSANDER MARTINELLI | VILLAIN, AKA; (name) | Uncle
Aleksander is the black sheep of the family. He is the twin brother of Waverlyn but is the exact opposite. His strength being dark magic while knowing some light magic here and there as well, and such. • When morphing, A main flaw Angelo cannot get rid of would be a paw shaped birthmark he has -and coincidentally he gets animal related powers, ironic right?- located under his left wrist. Some mistaken it as a small tattoo, but no matter how much Angelo will be accurate in his morphing skills, the birthmark will always remain somewhere. IE, if he's a dog it'll be around his ears, if he's a cat it'll be on his tail, etc. However most people don't notice it when he's 'bestial' possibly very few people do. The placement of his birthmark when he morphs to a desired animal varies.

For example the costume he wears, his mother put a spell on it so that it would 'disappear' and 'reappear' whenever he morphed back and fourth from human to animal. However if he wears anything other than his magical costume, he has to strip down and loosen his bottom-clothing (similar to his father). Thats why having a built body is really preferred.

Such as huffing or making odd noises like his father (be it out of frustration, anger, etc), Using his eyes to show emotion like his mother (widening them when surprised, or trying to get something out of someone), showing attitude/sassy gestured if irritated (mother), doing lots and lots of hand gestures while speaking (father and mother XD).

She's a bit reckless and irresponsible, and she tends to be overprotective of people she cares about. She's a 'do now, apologize later' kind of person. She's also not the most social person--she can be very brusque to new people, or people in general, who she doesn't know, and she doesn't trust easily. However, if you do become friends with her, she's a very loyal friend and she's very protective of her friends, to the point that some of them get annoyed with her because she'll be constantly watching out for you. She also refuses to let anyone talk shit about her friends, and she will kick the crap out of anyone who tries. Terry's most overprotective and loyal to her twin sister, Mattie, and if anyone so much as says something mean to Mattie, Terry's probably going to try and attack them on the spot. Despite her tendency to be rude to people who try to talk to her initially, she is a pretty okay person if you get to know her, but she has a thick outer shell to get past first. Mattie's constantly telling people that her sister "is a nice person, really!" because people rarely see it initially. Terry often seems to be annoyed or angry, and she is generally very bitter about life, and this is part of what leads her to be rude to new people and not trust people. Terry also happens to like getting her way, and is very stubborn and headstrong, and has a tendency to use her powers to get what she wants, and also as a defense mechanism against people she deems dangerous.

When Terry and Mattie were five, they were in a restaurant when a man with a bomb burst in, shot and killed their parents and several other people, and threatened to blow the place up. Terry and Mattie hid under the table for several hours as police negotiated the situation, and Terry was forever changed by the experience of watching her parents die in front of her and having to hide in fear for hours, not knowing what was going to happen. She grew up more cynical than she might have, believing that the world is full of people who don't mean well. When she was eight, she discovered her powers in an argument with another kid, when she grabbed their arm and tried to make them give her the toy they were arguing over, and suddenly their face went slack and they handed her the toy. She wasn't sure what was going on at first, but her mother had had superpowers and Terry's aunt realized right away that Terry had some kind of superpower. Terry became enamored with the idea of getting what she wanted, and started using her superpower on other kids to make them leave her alone until Mattie made her stop. Terry still has a tendency to use her powers when things start to get out of hand with people, or when people are bothering her, or as a defense mechanism. Terry has PTSD from what happened when she was five, and she has panic attacks now and then.

Mattie's very friendly and responsible, with a very strong sense of right and wrong. She makes friends easily and has a near-constant happiness that tends to make other people around her happy, and she's a very caring person who always listens to what everyone has to say. She's good at advising people on what to do, and if you want advice, she's great to talk to, or even if you just want to vent, she's great at listening. She's a good problem solver. Mattie is also always the one cleaning up after other people, particularly her sister, and she's always the one who looks out for Terry's well-being and reminds her to do things like her homework and eat food and things Terry sometimes forgets about doing. Mattie's always there for her friends and her sister, and she always sticks up for her sister no matter what, and if her sister is ever in trouble, Mattie will be there in a heartbeat. She protects her sister no matter what, although she won't attack people who are mean to Terry the way Terry will; Mattie protects her sister by keeping her safe, watching her back, and reprimanding those who talk about Terry behind her back, and being there for Terry in the event of a panic attack. Mattie also keeps an eye on her sister and makes sure Terry doesn't use her powers too much on others when she panics.

Mattie and her sister went through the same thing, and while it traumatized Mattie and gave her PTSD as well from having a shot fired right over her head, she's worked with a therapist to get over her PTSD and rarely has panic attacks anymore. She learned of her powers when she was eight as well, because she was trying to diffuse a situation between her sister and another person, and suddenly she managed to force calm on everyone. Her aunt realized Mattie, too, had powers, but Mattie is scared of her powers to this day because she dislikes the idea of manipulating people's emotions and she rarely uses them unless she absolutely has to. Mattie grew up much less cynical than Terry and still believes good things have to happen to balance out the bad things. She probably turned out like this because she got therapy, while Terry absolutely refused it.

Melancholy is one word to describe her, as is quiet. Growing up one of eight sisters, she's used to not really getting much of a say in things, although she's also used to having a lot of people around to talk to and gets lonely easily. She likes roughhousing with friends and family members, but even on a good day she doesn't smile much. She has severe depression that affects everything she does, and she often seems sad, even on days when she's doing okay, and she's generally very low energy. She's also kind of shy, because she's used to having her sisters around to talk for her and introduce her to people. She's also an easy target for bullying because she's always had seven sisters to stand up for her and stop people from bullying her, and she doesn't know how to deal with it on her own. Nelsea was born into a family of seven sisters, and she is the youngest eighth sister. Powers are very common in her family--her mother, Alaula, is photokinetic and can control light, her father can create mists and fog, her sister Halida has super speed, her sister Casey has a personal reality power, her sister Litsea can shapeshift, her sister Danny can speak in any language, her sister Kyra can speak to animals, her sister Annika can fly, and her sister Ashbelle has pyrokinesis, the ability to control fire. So needless to say, powers were very, very common, and no one was surprised when Nelsea developed umbrakinesis at age three and was found in her room playing with a ball of shadow. So she grew up with her powers mostly accepted and she learned from a young age how to control them. Jinx Inducement – Hex has the ability to manipulate probability via his "hexes." These hexes are relatively short range, and are limited to his line of sight. Casting a hex causes his eye to glow a bright blue and requires a gesture and concentration on his part, though the gestures are largely a focus for the concentration. These hexes can only manifest "bad luck" effects. They have been known to alter the molecular composition and physical state of physical objects, negate or distort physical laws, and to cause various forms of energy to spontaneously appear or disappear. He has an affinity with natural elements and phenomena, and has often used his hexes to cause electrical systems to malfunction, deflect projectiles, to light flammable objects, contain or remove air from a particular volume, stop the momentum of projectiles, open doors, and explode objects or to cause enemies to stumble or otherwise suffer the effects of unnatural occurrences (i.e bad luck). Unfortunately, the hexes are not under Hex's direct control, although he can influence the nature of their effects with great concentration and effort.

Energy Projection – Hex also uses his power to produce bursts of concussive blue energy (often manifesting physically as "hex spheres", "hex bolts", or "hex waves"). He can hurl this energy which he uses to knock his opponents off their feet or blast through objects.

Jesse is 5'8 and weighs about 140 pounds. He is Caucasian with handsome features, porcelain skin, and dyed blonde hair. His eyes are a crisp blue that glow even brighter when activating his abilities. He is by no means an ugly person with his exaggerated jawline and chiseled features. Most often, Jesse has a resting bitch face that often intimidates others at first glance. He rarely smiles, but when he does it's the most devilishly angelic thing there is with pearly white straight teeth.

All he really needs is a broom and he fits the part.

Personal History:
Jesse was oddly enough born to a superhero mom and a villain dad. His mom was the White Witch while his father was Mr. Pain. Both of his parents were sworn enemies and hated each other for years. That was until a freak accident happened that forced his mother to be trapped with the mad man for hours. His mother in a way developed Stockholm Syndrome and fell for the man. The two soon began dating and Jesse' father reluctantly gave up being a villain, especially after their son was born.

Jesse grew up on the spoiled side since he was an only child. He most of the time got what he wanted and always got into trouble where ever he could find it. Jesse discovered his powers relatively early and found that he took after his mom. His mother's abilities specialized in magic and probability while his father caused explosive blasts. Jesse's power worked a little different as he could manipulate bad luck and was basically a walking jinx. Everywhere he went, bad things happened until he learned to channel it the way his mother channeled magic. He used his jinx inducement as a weapon to cause bad things to happen to people he didn't like. It wasn't long after that he took after his dad and used his primary power to create blasts the could do more damage.

A lot of kids his age feared what he could do and tried to stay away from him. That was until his parents decided to enroll him into some super hero school to get a better understanding of his powers and to shape his future. Jesse, now dubbed Hex by his mother, didn't really want to become a hero or a villain. He just wanted to do what he wanted. After enrolling in school, he was deemed a villain and a bad kid by his personality and the cruel pranks he would pull on the student by making them trip and fall, or making their chairs collapse beneath them. Nothing too big even though he could go as far as cause a freak weather disaster if need be. Because of his jinx powers, he is known as a witch in the school just like his mother.

One would usually look at one's eyebrows to tell what their natural hair color is but Blaise is an exception for his eyebrows change color as well. But, if asked, he'd tell you that the chestnut brown is his natural hair color. The teenager's skin is a pale complexion, which looks even lighter when he has his blond hair.
