Infuriated by the death of his friend the friend one of the bowmen screams in rage and pulls back his bow almost until it breaks the arrow flying true and tearing through the newcomer's armor. The spearman and other bowman however seem frightened by his startling quickness with his large blade and thier attacks fall wide. The spearman that took the brunt of the beetle's attack turns to join the fight against Akio.
"I will end you." he bellows as he charges, "And I will wear your sword as a trophy."
Kuzan and Chiyome however are still embroiled in their own battles and the remaining swordsman still swinging at her with his sword. Kuzan however seems energized and parries their blows. Stabbing one of the bandits through the chest and with a sickening sound pushed him off with his foot as the bandit fell to the ground.
"Ha..." he says finally getting into the swing of the fight. "You attack a Kaeru and his partner and you pay the price..." he takes a moment to see his their mysterious comrade is doing in time to see the bandit cut in half and he flinches. Whoever their rescuer is he isn't one to trifle with.
