I am curious. Does someone who creates an account, self-advertises, and then vanishes forever count as a spambot, or are they just... rude?
 
If it's for a roleplay site, it's fine! A little rude, yes, but, y'know... a roleplay site owner gotta do what they gotta do. XD
 
Okay. What about for a DeviantArt account?
 
Deviantart is okay too!

Anything that is a personal site is fine. O_O That's why we have the homepage section of the profile, etc. So peeps can share their stuff. People aren't usually registering with intent to spam those.

NOT okay = business and porn site spam links.

I never knew we had a Spambot problem... I guess Iwaku is just that cool! Since people want to spam here and such.
My eyes are peeled!
Although I can't guarantee any accurate findings...

The dramatic Cello and Piano Duet begins, as the hunt for the Spambots begin as the cannon fires into the air.
The party of four non-existent people nod at each other in silent farewell, for all they know, this could be the last hunt of their lives.
Two go to the left, into the thick of the Jungle, Two go to the right, toward the mountains.
May their hunt be filled with valor, spoils, and glory!

I have found quite a few who have no pic, no posts, no recent activity, no roleplay resume, no anything at all really. They have a birthday, patron, and gender, but nothing else. They also joined at least 2-3 months ago, at least. All but one didn't do anything after their first day, or after a few days.

(Idk if they would be spambots or not. Should I post links?)
 
Also, I have them in my ignores for quick reference. I shall continue searching.
 
Reference them against all the profiles in the first post to see if they have already been reported, then share some links!
