Name: Oneisha "Neesh" Williams
Age: 24
Gender: Not Specified
Appearance:
Description: 5'4" with dark hair, blue eyes, and a perpetually bronzed complexion, and is most often seen with a vague smile on her lips (or else muttering inventory numbers and requisition orders to herself)
Job: Logistics Officer
Personality: Neesh is surprisingly chipper considering what she has been and continues to go through. She's not one to dwell on what could have been or should have been, though she does let the weight of past events drive her future actions. She believes strongly in justice and yet also respects strength highly- which just means she wants to be strong so that she can help bring to justice those who would otherwise go unpunished.
She has a good head for numbers- to the point of having a nearly photographic memory when it comes to data, statistics, and the like. All her life she's had more of a fascination with the sciences than with socializing, as even her childhood toys were electronics and machinery components she could disassemble and study, rather than dolls.
History: Neesh came to Japan along with her family when her father was stationed at the naval base in Yokosuka eight years before the Fleet of Fog showed up. She joined up with the Navy as well and her schooling was top-notch, as well as the medical care, and by the time she had grown into a beautiful young woman she was well on her way toward establishing a career in naval supply logistics, an area she found she had quite the aptitude for. When the Fog struck, she lost both her parents- her father's surveillance plane was shot down while attempting to feed Fog ship positions to the fleet and the ferry that her mother was on during the evacuation effort afterward was sunk as part of the ruthless blockade of Japan.
This was hard for Neesh but she pushed on in her parents absence, doing her best to ration the dwindling supplies and even coordinating with brave blockade runners willing to risk being sunk by Fog frigates to bring much-needed goods to the island nation. Her reputation grew as time went on and through her contacts she heard about the lone brave ship, a turncoat Fog vessel willing to work with the humans. In spite of everything she should feel about these robotic outsiders who attacked their civilization and murdered both her parents along with many more humans, Neesh was captivated. She simply had to meet Sina, and pulled all the favors she had accumulated in order to get a position on board, to serve as the logistics specialist for the heavy cruiser. Now she puts her skills to work, bartering and scrounging for ammunition, nanomaterials, rations and of course- alcohol to keep the crew happy (not a whole lot of it to go around these days).
Note: She carries
this photo on her at all times, of a protester handing a flower to a policeman through a razor wire barrier
