And I was thinking they'd all be lethal if fired upon naked skin (humans, anyway).
I was thinking along your lines mixed with heat. Like, I pretty much ripped off how star colours are related to their temperature and applied it to laser guns.

Just a quick update so people know I'm not dead:
I'm planning on having an OOC up by the next two to three days. It's going to have a more detailed description of the town, some details on the gangs leaking in from the slums, and other "important" NPCs such as a tavern owner, mayor, officers, etc.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to put this on hiatus. Things have come up and my family's going to be needing me more lol.
Sorry for disappointing but I'm grateful for all the interest you guys showed in this RP.
