Today's adventure:

The Colosseum, the Pantheon, some churches, some shopping with my wife around the Piazza de Spagna, and I got to be like Alfred from Dark Knight Rises because I got to drink some Fernet Branca in Italy.

Check out Hadrian's Villa if you get a chance to go out of the city, I hear that it's hardly ever busy and really is a fine place to visit.

last day in rome!

pictures to come after I return to the states tomorrow...or probably the day after!

today, we saw the palatine hills, the roman forum, toured the inside of the Colosseum, walked along the Tiber river, and tried (but failed) to see the Mouth of Truth; there was what looked to be a huge line there

we also saw the fontana di trevi and a couple other monuments that i'll post up after all the traveling's done

also, i found a liquor store that had some fernet-branca, so i've been drinking that after dinner for the last 2 days

Holy fuckballs. I took 450 pics of Rome and 1 video of a champagne sabering/sabrage demonstration at our hotel.
