Oska sheathed her sword and folded her arms across her chest. Glaring at Jax and advancing on him. "Was there ever any man thus beaten out of season, when in the why and the wherefore is neither rhyme nor reason?!?!"

"Sonia, right?" Midori asked as he approached the Panda, "We're staying in a tunnel system over here." He pointed to the entrance, "I don't have the authority to let you stay with us, but I think that if you promise to help we shouldn't have a problem."

((Alright so that was fun. This particular, single, individual page, decided to not load the text editor. Every other page on iwaku gets it fine, but not this one. How odd. Anyway that's why it took so long to post. Sorry.))

Shirona scoffed when that girl she disliked brought up that writer she disliked for the billionth time. "Alright guys, I'm out. You should be too. I don't want a half-asleep team." With that, she strode off in the direction of the nearest bed.

(Post time skip)

A faint morning light filtered into the room through cracks in the wall and roof. Of course, it wasn't sunlight. As she correctly guessed, it was the light cast by the remaining embers that still flickered across the more flammable parts of the ruined hideout. She crawled off the bed and literally flopped onto the floor, not bothering to make the effort to stand until she had already crawled to the pile of clothes she had been wearing the day before. It surprised her sometimes how much of a habit she had for cleanliness, given her rather.. messy nature. After robing herself, she regained composure and headed to the agreed meeting place for the attack - the lower floor entrance hall of one of the smaller buildings on the outskirts of town. As she walked, she found herself wondering who, if anyone, would show up, and whether they were likely to bring items she could salvage if they died.

Kalros was on the floor seemingly meditating, his legs crossed and arms on his lap. The "morning" light of the skies illuminating his partly covered face. Just as he promised, he didn't sleep the night.

What he did do was prowling the rooftops of the city, occasionally stealing a bottle of energy drink or two (because you can't really walk into a coffee shop and ask for a cup if you're a known assassin) and sharpening his blades. Yes, all of them, even the emergency, back up, and spare ones in the cabinet in his room.

So no, he was not actually meditating, but sleeping and waking up every 5 minutes or so for two hours since he arrived here.

He held the handle of his blade tightly as he heard footsteps, but loosened his grip after seeing it was just the familiar, red-eyed albino.

"Shirona," He nodded, before going back to "microsleeping".

Midori woke up as Shirona was leaving. "It's morning then," he yawned, "time to kick some Demon ass." He stood up and put on his new jacket. He began preparing for the raid ahead. He filled his largest canteen with water, grabbed a few of the remaining rations, and grabbed some basic first aid supplies. On his way to the meeting place, something in the rubble caught his eye. He jumped up, manipulating the wind to launch himself right to the object. He moved the rubble to find a katana, still in perfect condition. He swung it a few times before deciding to keep it. He looked around until he found its sheath, which he slung around his shoulder, before finishing his journey to the meeting place.
