He could smell her sudden panic. And also she was starting to huff and puff. So he attempted to slow his steps." Well you seem to know the direction you are going. And I don't see a map." He shrugged slightly not really sure what more to say.
 
"I appreciate your help either way." She offered lamely.

They walked in silence for a while till the feilds came into view. It wouldn't be to much farther till they reached the city but it had gotten considerably darker since she'd last seen the actual sky.

"Wow." she mumbled to herself wondering if perhaps she should find a room to stay in for the night. The woods were a treacherous place after twilight. But then again she wouldn't want her mother and grandmother to worry much.

Her hand brushed his as they both stepped over a log and she tried to hide the blush on her face.
 
"Well I couldn't let an attractive woman get lost in the woods. Her boyfriend would get frantic. Plus people tromping around would make the forest dwellers mad." He explained why he was helping her. Looking away from her.

He could see it was getting darker. Looking down at the town he then glanced at her. This is the closest he had ever been. Told he would get killed on site of humans seen him. But maybe if he stayed human all would be ok to bring her closer?

The soft brush of her hand made him turn to her. Head tilted he decided it was not on purpose. Then he started walking down a rather steep hill. Stepping above buried rocks so he wouldn't slip.
 
Lilith felt flustered at the mention of a suitor. That was ludicrous. Her mother and grandmother always told her that men were dangerous. And of course she believed them. But... Wulf... He seemed.... Gentle almost.

"I don't have a boyfriend." she said following him. It wasn't long till she finished her buisness in town and they were starting back towards the woods.

"I hope your offer for an escort is still on the table." she said shyly as they approached the thick forest.
 
"You don't have one? But your gorgeous. Shouldn't they be breaking down your door?" He glanced at her and continued into town with her. Ignoring the looks he got from the humans. But he hated feeling their gaze on him. Once they left town he relaxed a little. Kind of upset now that he realized he was such an animal.

"Of course you need to be safe." He gave her a small smile. Feeling the witch angrily try to pull him back to her. Ignoring her attempts as he continued to walk with Lilith.
