Welcome ta' Orre, visitor! Happy ta' say that you 'ain't such a rare sight here anymore, with Orre recovering more of it's natural beauty, wild pokemon, and spirit in general- Not that the Orre folk were ever thin skinned to begin with. Why, with the two Cipher attacks and Snagem, we needed skin harder than a Torkoal shell!
With the passing years, Orre has changed, all lands do. Seein' as how you seem new here and all, I might as well explain all the change, jus' ta' help you out a bit and so you don't go around askin' the wrong people- And trust me when I say that a lot of 'um tend to hang out here.
1. Pokémon HQ Lab

In case ya' haven't heard the news, Orre's been considered as being added as part of the league, with badges and the elite four and all that. It's exciting stuff I tell ya'. Bein' a part of the league would bring a lot of revenue from all the trainers, and it's justa' proud title to hold in general. However, there are some- Even from here if you can believe it- that argue that this region is 'too dangerous' and that we even forced Michael- who, if you don't know already, was the rather talented tike who saved us from second Cipher attack- to fight against the team in an attempt to 'copy' other regions. I think that they're just tryin' to snob us out with those claims cus' Orre ain't as 'fancy' as other regions, but it ain't like there isn't some bad history with the other regions...
Anyways, Professor Krane's been handing out 'starter packs' to some of the younger folks here, all having a parcel of a few random items and a pokemon. Though due to Orre not being an official part of the league yet, he can't get his hands on any of the usual starters like, oh you know, Bulbasaur, Chimchar, ect. So instead, he just hands out other first evolution Pokemon. I've also heard that he lets trainers go out in the back garden to meet them in person 'stead of just being handed a ball.
Since the shrine for purifying pokemon is long gone, he's been developin' something that would imitate the effects and purify shadow pokemon- Never hurts ta' be prepared, after all. [/SPOILI]
2. Gateon Port

Recently Gateon Port's becomin' more of a sort of 'business center', with people of different regions meeting there and all sorts of temporary stands for different products, sometimes they have things that cost less than what the pokemarts sell. They're even considerin' making the lighthouse a 'battle tower' of some sort.[/SPOILI]
3. Kaminko's House

Quite frankly, I don't know where Dr. Kaminko got all these crazy ideas for their inventions, and I don't think either of us wants to. 'Specially since most of them are pretty terrible, and worse is that he actually sells some of 'um. One time I bought an alarm clock from 'um, couldn't sleep for days even after I got rid'of it... You can try your luck, but I doubt that you'll find anything useful- But hey, maybe you'll find some use for 'um after all. It's a gamble really.
However, sometimes that assistant Chobin, who I swear has glasses that only make him blinder, might mistake ya' for a 'burglar' and attack ya'.[/SPOILI]
4. Agate Village

Agate Village is at a rather sad state at the moment. You see, it used to be thriving up until these thorny vines started growing. At first, a lot'of people disregarded 'um, seein' as how plants grew all over the place so it was only natural. A few of the elders sensed that somethin' was wrong, and boy did they predict somethin' horrible! The vines started to grow, their spikes only getting bigger, and more rapidly too. Eventually, some of 'um were as thick as tree trunks and went through some houses, which is when many of the residents moved away, an' I can only hope that all of them made it out alright. What's even weirder is that since it's been completely swamped with these vines, some of the land's been dryin' up and turnin' to desert land, and the river's almost dried up too, at best it's mud.
Anyways, if you are thinkin' of venturing out there, be careful. 'Cause it's not just that there's these freakishly big vines, but from what I've heard they seem to move daily too, almost as if they have minds of their own...[/SPOILI]
5. Challenge Isle, prev. known as 'Citadark Isle'.

Previously, this place used to be the main base for Cipher, but since it's been taken over by some of the toughest trainers around. Besides the occasional storm or two, it's fairly easy to get there, but the real challenge is handling all the trainers. There's even some rumors about it being used as the place for the Orre Elite four should we get one.[/SPOILI]
6. Oasis Poké Spot

Construction 'fer a resort is beginning, and some aren't happy 'cause it's likely to cause some damage to the environment, yet others argue that the wild pokemon are coming back in droves, so what's taking out a pokespot going to do, as they say. Plus, the resort might just drive some much-needed revenue to the region, yet it ain't like an oasis is a dime a' dozen, and let's say that some huge, damage is done to that small place there... 7. Orre Colosseum

Since the natural greenery of Orre has been returning, it's only natural that the once desertous colloseum be surrounded by it as well. And let me tell ya' that I've heard that the sight is simply stunning. However, only the most elite trainers are allowed to fight here. Will you be one of them? ... Sorry. Just tryin' ta be dramatic.[/SPOILI]
8. Pyrite City

Pyrite Town has since developed into a full on, bustling city with tall buildings (although they sort'of look like they were put together with scrap metal...). Though the crime rate's been going down, it's certainly still there, as it's always been, with thugs and thieves and such. However, you might be surprised ta' learn that most of the technological developments happen here, perhaps it's 'cause of all the spare parts around. They also have a rivalry with Realgam City, and there's always fierce battles between the two cities in the Phenac Colosseum; it'd be plain disastrous to have the battles in either of tha' cities Colosseum. 9. The Under

The under used ta' be an underground mining town that was taken over by Cipher, 'least until the citizens were liberated by Wes, our first hero who saved us from the first Cipher attack. It also used ta' be buried after that until it was dug up again, the people doin' it said it was fer' historical reasons. However, it was later abandoned, leaving the dug up city to the poor and criminal. I'd suggest to be very careful when walking down there, even though tha' local pawn shop might have some sort'of deal on things others have sold.
Also, I've been hearin' about the richer parts of Pyrite takin' interest in the Colosseum bein' re-opened, somethin' about the battles being more 'exciting', so be careful if you be plannin' on enterin' your pokemon.[/SPOILI]
10. Mt. Battle

If ya' ever feel that you need some more levels on your pokemon, this would be the place ta' go. The higher ya' get, the tougher it is. Recently they've sort'of scrapped the whole pokecoupon thing, apparently it's too costly ta' keep producing them or somethin'. Instead, after clearin' an area, you get a choice of TMs and items you can take, one'of each, and, of course, the higher you go, the better the items. Can't help but wonder what might be at the top. 11. Cole Mines, Prev. Cave Poké Spot

Since it was discovered that various minerals were buried here, an underground mine's been dug, even going into the volcano! Trainers are free to explore it, who knows, maybe you'll discover some sort'of treasure yourself![/SPOILI]
12. Shadow Pokemon Lab

If you might have already guessed, this lab was involved in the making of shadow pokemon years ago, and since the operation was shut down it's been supposedly abandoned. However... and don't tell anyone I said this, but I've been hearin' of sights of a man with a pokeball Afro goin' in and out of it, along with two crazily-dressed trainers.[/SPOILI]
13. Realgam City

Starting with a simple tower that served as both a relaxation spot and Colosseum at the top, it eventually grew to having a hotel built by it, and from there more and more structures were built until it became a city. It has a reputation of bein' friendly, suburban, and having this huge rivalry with Pyrite city, and as mentioned before, all the battles with them are held in tha' Phenac City Colosseum. The tower lies in the middle of the city and serves as the town hall, but also still has the Colosseum at the top. However, there's rumors of more organized crime going down in the downtown parts of it, do ya' think that it might have it's version of The Under? ... Nah, probably jus' speculation.[/SPOILI]
14. Phenac City

Surprisingly enough, Phenac City hasn't changed much, if anything it's become what Agate Village used to be: A place to preserve traditions and history. Many of the elders of Agate Village moved all the way here due to the similarities. However, when entering the Colosseum, you might be caught up in the rivalry between Pyrite and Realgam. There's also a Pre-Gym (a place for practice fer' the real thing, essentially), and should we become part'of the league, it might become an actual Gym. [/SPOILI]
15. Malachite Casino, Prev. Cipher Key Lair

This used ta' be a huge shadow pokemon makin' center, but since it was shut down the building was bought and made into a Casino, and also a rather fancy hotel. It's also rather exclusive with very high security. [/SPOILI]
16. Snagem Hideout

Quite frankly, I don't know why the whole gang hasn't been arrested by now. Guess either the police are too busy or there aren't enough to investigate. Anyways, this group used to help with snagging other trainers pokemon to shut their hearts and make them into the emotionless, unstable shadow pokemon- I know, absolutely despicable. However, that was years ago, and now they're on their own. Recently I've heard about them 'reforming' themselves into 'vigilantes', but with the history behind 'um I wouldn't trust any of them.[/SPOILI]
17. S.S. Libra Memorial

As part of Cipher's second attack, they used XD001 (a shadow Lugia essentially. I know, I can't believe it either!) to pick up a ship full of pokemon, but then dumped it in the desert. Seein' as how this is Cipher we're talkin' about, they had to have done that ta' get rid of tha' evidence, surely couldn't have been some mistake or anythin'.
Some of those on board... both pokemon and people, did not survive, probably having dropped in the ocean, or maybe somewhere in the desert... really unknown about what happened to them, 'specially since no bodies have been found. Out of the found wreckage, a memorial was made for the missing and presumed dead. [/SPOILI]

19. Outskirt Stand

This place can be described as a lone diner in the middle of nowhere, made from an abandoned train. It's often visited by various travelers, who knows, you might come upon yer'self. Tha' owner also sells various pokeballs not found anywhere else in Orre, and I've seen fer' myself that he's been growin' potted apricots and makin' pokeballs out of 'um like they do in Johto, though he says he'll cut ya' a deal if you provide the apricots. It's also a valuable place fer' hearin' rumors...[/SPOILI]
20. Aventurine Ind.

Right in the harshest part of Orre, where the sandstorms are at their worst, is a spherical greenhouse that houses Adventurine Ind. Apparently they're studying Orre's plant growth and how ta' improve it, along with if they can possibly grow anything out there. They're a rather friendly, eager ta' learn bunch. If ya' want, you can donate to their cause by buyin' some herbs or payin' a fee of $500 to go and catch'a pokemon and pick some berries in the greenhouse. They also happen ta' be studyin' the mysterious vines that are appearin' all over.[/SPOILI]
Hoped I helped you out some, traveler. Jus' be careful, never know if Cipher might make a third attack. It's unlikely but... still possible. And I have a gut feelin' that it might be soon...
Rules
1. You can, of course, have violence and love, but please keep it Iwaku appropriate.
2. NO GODMODDING! This means:
A. Controlling a character that isn't yours.
B. No auto-hitting, meaning that you can't have your character's attacks automatically connect, or hit another character. Like for example, you can't have this:
Nichole hit Sandy in the lower left jaw.
But rather, have this:
Nichole threw a punch at Sandy, aiming for the lower left jaw.
In pokemon battles, I will determine if something hit or not, and sometimes take control of the pokemon to indicate some statuses.
C. Making your character all powerful to the point of where they can't be beaten. The exception to this is if they're going against a character weaker than they are or are supposed to be powerful for plot reasons and other things like that.
D. Making your character know everything.
E. There are some other exceptions though, just ask if you really want to do something that might be godmodding and I'll say if it's okay or not.
3. Please make at least 3-4 lines in each post, though if you really can't think of anything and you've run out of material, then 1-2 lines is fine once in awhile, though if you do too many I'll warn you.
4. Use proper grammar and spelling. Little mistakes are okay, since I make those kinds of mistakes all the time. However posts like

Starting Trainers
These are the characters that will be going to Pokémon HQ Lab to get a starter pokemon. They are tied more closely with events and the story, and may also get certain special items, access to certain areas, and even some pokemon. You can choose the stater among three randomly generated pokemon, with one pokemon being a type of your choosing, one of said pokemon will not be a starter pokemon like Treeko. They also start out with $5000 and a parcel of random items.

Scooter Appearance: Her scooter has enough room to hold two people and has a metal basket on the front, the basket being something she attached herself. One of the mirrors appears to be taped on with duck tape, and already there are several scratch marks despite being only a month old. It is a red-pink color with several white, fire-like stripes on the side.
Appearance: Alesana is of average height and weight for her age. Her skin has a slight, natural tan to it due to sun exposure. Her hair is a pale blonde color that she often puts it into short pony tails. Her eyes are a light orange color.
She often wears a light and dark-green striped shirt, and over that is a light, dark blue jacket. She wears jeans that go up to her knees, and black boots. She also wears light pink glasses.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Personality: Alesana is a hyper, easily excitable individual who can go screaming in excitement over her victories and achievements and over even her friends' victories and achievements. She can get overly emotional over things sometimes, perhaps even over-reacting to things that she might not have given more than a glance at first, being one to usually judge by first impressions. It isn't that hard to get her riled up about something. Despite this, she doesn't like being alone, even if how she acts might annoy people to the point of where they might want to leave her alone. Since she's hyper, she's a fast talker and often acts quickly as well, getting into situations she might not understand. She has a strong sense of adventure and combined with her tendency to come up with the craziest ideas, this can lead to hilarity that she often drags her friends into. However, she usually tries to help others with good intentions... hopefully those 'good intentions' won't end in unforeseen consequences.
Bio: Originally from the Johto region, her family moved all the way to Orre in Agate Village due to her father's job, which took place all the way at Realgam City, helping to build the new structures. Alesana, having always been an adventurous girl, saw it as somewhere new to explore, even if she did miss her friends back in Johto. Even before they moved, she was always coming home with various scraps and scraps, and she loved Agate Village due to how much it was like her old home. Though the elders always found themselves exasperated with her.
Becoming a pokemon trainer had always been a dream of hers, but she was often told that she'd have to get away from Orre to ever amount to anything in such a career, though due to ferry fees she couldn't get out. Her parents were very supportive anyways, helping to foster her desire. However, she had to move to Realgam once the vines overwhelmed the village. Her father offered to move them to Phenac City, but to her it wouldn't be the same as having the forests to explore. Of course, her parents actively encouraged her to go all the way to the Pokémon HQ Lab to get a starter park, hoping that it might help her dream.

RP Sample: Kaylen carefully walked through the greenery, which appeared dark due to the sun just hitting it. Hugging her body, she looked all around her. The closest that she had ever gotten to a forest before was behind the confines of her garden, and seeing it up close like this was just... beautiful. She looked around herself, knowing that sometime her parents would be aware of her disappearance, she wasn't quite sure of how desperate they might be. Then again, with how they assumed that she couldn't survive elsewhere...
... Still, it wouldn't hurt to do a quick sketch, would it? It wouldn't be some artistic endeavor, just a scribble to remind herself of what she saw. Finding a rock to sit on, she set down her bag, bring out her sketch pad and pencil, and began to hurriedly draw a mess of lines that was supposedly a representation for what she saw.
