INFO Off-Site Ads: Rules, Info, & Link Back Buttons

Welcome to our Off-Site Ads forum! This is where you can advertise your roleplays from other sites, so long as they follow the rules down below. If they do not, your ad will be removed without warning.

All threads in this forum are archived after 90 days. Threads by inactive, banned, or deleted members are also archived. You can repost an ad thread any time your thread has been archived.

BANNED CONTENT

This is a non-exhaustive list of things that are just never allowed to be advertised here or elsewhere on Iwaku.

Sites that feature hate content, anti-trans, anti-gay, racist, or otherwise blatantly dangerous ideology.
Porn sites or sites that heavily feature graphic image and video of pornography.
Sites that partake in illegal activity, by US law standards. This includes things to do with drugs and torrenting/streaming copyrighted media.
Sites/chats meant for cybersex and real life hookups rather than roleplaying. If you don't understand the difference and aren't sure if your site/chat might break this rule, message an admin or Security staff member to check for you before you advertise. This will require the creation of an account, or you can use the Contact Us form and provide an email address for us to send an answer to.

Please note that these rules also generally apply to advertising off-site things elsewhere on Iwaku, including in your signature, on your profile wall, and on our Discord server.

ADVERTISING ETIQUETTE

It's only fair if we can come and advertise on your forum too! :D
You can bump your topic once a month if you really want to bump. As comments like 'bump' will get flagged as spam on the site, make sure to bump your threads with informative comments like 'still looking for members.'
We prefer if you only advertise roleplaying and writing forums, but it's okay to spam other stuff too.

HOW TO ADVERTISE IWAKU ACROSS OTHER SITES

1. Look for forums that have an Advertising link section just like Iwaku's.

2. Make sure to read their advertising rules, cause sometimes sites have weird rules.

3. If we can post, make sure we don't already have an Ad in there.

4. Guest name = Iwaku Roleplay

5. Thread title = Matching it to whatever the others are doing in that Ad forum.

6. Write a snazzy little recommendation for Iwaku or just post the cool banner. Just make sure it's super friendly and welcoming!

8. You can also replace the url with your referral links!
