- I work 10 hours days 4 1/2 days of the week as a vet tech. Some days I come home and just fall straight to bed after a long day, but others I'll come on. I also compete in obedience competitions with my dog, so a lot of my time is spent training with him. The weekends and Mondays are my best days to be on.

Maya laughed before running a hand through her hair, beginning to chat with her parents again as Hexus went to wander about the apartment again. They asked her if she really thought that it would be a good idea to keep him, wondering if she would even be able to take care of him with her school and what not. And, like always, she reassured them that he was in good hands. She was more than positive that their continuous attempts to get the anthro back into their house was only because they would dearly miss him, which she could understand, since she too desperately missed him while she was away.
When she heard a small whine, she whipped her attention over to the couch, smiling at the look that she was receiving from the wolf. She shook her head with a small laugh and walked over to him, sitting on the couch right next to him as she reached her hands out to undue the collar that was situated around his neck. "He'll be fine without it," Maya commented back after her parent's comment about if taking it off was such a good idea. "Besides, he's in here now, and it's obviously bothering him." She let the collar dangle from her fingers before she put it on the arm of the couch, her fingers threading through the hair that had been trapped under the material that was once around his neck. "Feel better?"
