How Things Work

Fighting Aging LOOT Families Clans/Bloodlines Progression Summoning Contracts Special Projects

  Fighting in this RP goes in rounds, meaning 1 player will post an Action post (but won't post the result) and then the next player will post the Result post along with their own Actions and then the next player will post the Result post along with their own Actions, and so on.
  
  When fighting NPC's i will be posting the NPC's Result (in the case of being attacked) and Action (in case of attacking) posts!
  
  Keep in mind that naturally your character will 'die' (sent to hospital in their village or in the case of Missing-Nin, die permanently.) if taking life threatening wounds or running out of chakra.
  
  Keep track of how much chakra you have throughout the fight so you do not accidentally kill your character

  Your character will age due to 2 things. The player deciding when that characters Birthday is (player deciding to age their character whenever they want) or through other means (like special LOOT that you might find.)
• 
  
  
  LOOT is what the items and such are called when searching an enemies body/ies, finding un-explored area's and exploring them, or anything like the previous examples.
  
  Once your character finds LOOT you CANNOT post what that LOOT is, you MUST let a GM Post what the LOOT is. (IE when searching dead enemies bodies don't post what you got from the bodies, just that you searched them, then the GM will decide what you got.)

  A Player can marry/date/have children with another player, sexuality doesn't matter here. Anything 18+ goes into Libertine Forums. When 2 Players or when a player adopts they can get a 2nd/3rd players permission for that 2nd/3rd player to be listed as his/her/their child. If a player/s have children but no other player wants to become his/her/their child than an NPC child that he/her/they control is born.

  A Clan can be founded by anyone that is the only possessor of 1 or more bloodlines (if they're that lucky.)

    Skill progression happens when you send your character to learn a Jutsu or to train to up their skills in a specific Category (Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Ninjutsu ect.).
    
    A GM (AKA Me at the moment.) will do a Roll for a percentage in that skill/jutsu/ect, the percentage will vary from 0% to 50% for that Training Session, and a GM will tell you the Percentage Requirement needed in order to Learn that Jutsu/Increase in that Skill. (The higher the letter rank, the bigger the percentage, the more training sessions.)

    Ninja Rank progression works in Exams, in which the Kage of every village (but since there are none, I will decide for now.) will decide when said exams are. A Requirement in order to enter these exams will be posted alongside the post that tells when that Exam is.
    
    The requirements to become a Special Rank like Anbu and Hunting Nin are decided by that villages Kage, though only Jounin and above can apply for a Special Rank unless said otherwise by a Kage.
    
    Letter Rank progression works in skill. A GM will tell you when your character has ranked up in Letter Rank. There aren't any special Requirements in order to up in Letter Rank other than your Threat Level (which is an Invisible Stat that i manage.) and Skill Level (another Invisible Stat that i manage)
• Basic Info Summoning Chakra Costs

    There are 2 types of summoning contracts, Normal and Special.
    
    Normal contracts are basic, you can learn their clan jutsu and their Sage Mode, but it won't be as strong as a Special contracts, the summons will also be weaker than a Special one's, and though it costs considerably less chakra to summon those from a Normal contract.
    
    Special contracts are special in many different ways that vary between contracts. Their special effect could be anything from being a mythical beast to having exceedingly strong summons, though those from Special contracts are stronger than those from Normal contracts.
    
    Every animal has a Special Contract and a Normal contract, AKA their's a Special Fox Contract and a Normal Fox Contract, as an example.
    
    Once someone signs and Summoning contract for the first time 1 of 2 things will happen.
    
    1) The boss summon will appear (that the GM will control only during the first meeting.) and tell you the conditions for being able to use the contract.
    
    2) The signer will be reverse summoned to that summons realm in front of the Boss Summon, who will then tell you the conditions for being able to use the contract.
    
    Please take in your surroundings and condition when signing a contract, because either of those 2 options will happen immediately after signing one.
    
    I will only be controlling the Boss Summons when they appear the first time and give the conditions (though under certain circumstances i will have to control them longer than that time period, like for example they give the signer a test.) afterwards the player will be controlling the summons from that contract.
    
    The player will decide their Sage Mode abilities once they achieve it, though keep in mind that a Normal contracts Sage Mode is much weaker than a Special Contracts Sage Mode. The player will also decide what physical changes happen to their character/s when using that Summoning Contracts Sage Mode.
    
    The Player will also decide what jutsu that clan knows and can be taught to the player. Keep in mind that their are some justu that only the summons will be able to use, to which i will tell you when/if you create them if your character can learn it or if only the animals from that summoning contract can know them.

    5,000 - 10,000 for a baby/small summon (what they can do is up to you, like tracking or delivering messages, or basic combat (Genin level) summons.)
    
    10,000 - 25,000 for a medium/teenage summon (Chuunin to Jounin level.)
    
    25,000 - 50,000 for a Large/Adult summon(Jounin to Kage)
    
    50,000 - 75,000 for a Titan/Giant/Elder summon (A-Rank Kage Level.)
    
    100,000 for the Boss Summon (tend to be the same size as a Titan/Giant/Elder summon but are much stronger.(S-Rank Kage Level)
    
    1,000-5,000 for the Chief Summon (Chief/s of that summon clan, much weaker than any other summons by themselves but are exetremely helpful when assisting summoner. This/These summon/s are also the only one's who can teach your Character their Sage Mode, and their special Jutsu.)

  (For Kage or those really explorative Missing Nin (IE Missing Nin wanting to be like Orochimaru for example))
  
  In order to start a Special Project 1 of 2 items must be used. A Blueprint (something only Kage can acquire, these only affect that Kage's Village though.) or Special Notes (in the case of everyone else. These only affect Players though.)
  
  A Blueprint only affects the village of the user and can only be obtained by a Kage. A Blueprint can be used 2 different ways. The first is to start building a new building in that village (though it must be unlocked by a Special Project first.) The second is to start a Special Project.
  
  Special Notes can be obtained by anyone and affects only the players character/s.
  
  When starting a Special Project, the user will decide what that special project is. The GM will then Decide it's percentage requirement in order to finish it and any other special requirements. If it's a Blueprint that's being used for a Special Project than anyone in the village it's being used it that is Chuunin or higher can contribute to it. If it's a Special Notes being used to do a Special Project on a character than only that Character and anyone they tell about it can contribute to it.
  
  When someone contributes to a special project a GM will roll the percentage (which can range anywhere from 0% to 100%) and add that on to it's current Percentage, once it reaches the required percentage and all other requirements are also fulfilled than that Special Project is complete.
  
  In the case of Repairing damaged buildings in Villages, you don't need to use a Blueprint to rebuild something, though the percentage effect will come into play here like a Blueprint does, meaning anyone can contribute to it from the village and it will require a certain percentage in order for it to be fully repaired.

Keep in mind that ANYTHING can happen and be done in this game



A Players first post on this thread must be their characters Inventory and stats, (basically just copy/paste your Character Sheets Skill Just and Stat sections, than add ---Inventory--- to it) makes it much easier to manage.

Hibiki was already up and about, fully dressed and equipped on the balcony of his private apartment in the Nogitsune clan complex. He was lounging in a chair with a steaming mug of what smelled like coffee but looked more like milk in his hand. Ahead, he could see the rays of sunlight, already an hour or so old, spreading across Konohagakure. His trained eyes could spot the movements of several of his fellow ninja as they went about early morning duties and he couldn't help but smile. Even if he was up early, he wasn't up as early as they were, not since he was now leading a team of genin.

Fresh out of the academy they were; fresh meat for him. It was his first team and he was just a touch apprehensive about it. Combat was fine, killing was fine, but teaching children? That was a new problem altogether. Not helping that was the fact that he had never lead a genin team before, always having more important Clan business to take care of since his father's untimely death. After four years though, everything was pretty much running as well as it had been and people knew what they were doing under his command, freeing up a fair amount of his time. Time to be spent turning genin into proper ninja apparently.

Sipping at his coffee, he smiled. As it was, he only knew their names - Uzumaki Kumiko, Uzumaki AKihiko, and Uchiha Neji. All of them from prestigious clans with a history of kekkai genkai like himself. In a way, they were lucky to have someone who understood both the stigmata and power that came with a kekkai genkai, along with the responsibilities and training. With any luck, he might be able to help them achieve proficiency with them. That is, if they were lucky enough to have one.

He lazed about for some time more, taking in the nice, slow morning, for him at least, and finished off the mug before heading into the kitchen, rinsing it out and setting it to dry. Locking up the front door, he went back to the balcony, rolled his shoulders to loosen up, and leapt off of it onto the roof of a nearby building. It was in such fluid movements that his clan's best attributes came out; his movements were lithe and agile, his balance impeccable and he was prone to showing off just a little bit, flipping and twisting between buildings. He might not have been the Nine-Tailed Fox, but he was as close to it as he could be without being a bijuu.

His path led straight to the third training ground, the one assigned to his team as a starting training ground - something simple for genin that lent itself to easy terrain to practice their skills and work as a team. The three genin should have already received their assignment alongside his name. He smirked, the thought of what their thoughts might be at having him for a team leader might be.

A blank faced Uzuki sat up in a tree by her house. She had just awoken and was not fully functioning but she could still fully comprehend her cousin's annoying voice: "Zuki! Zuukkiii-chan!!" The younger female looked down at her, rolling her eyes and climbing down. "Did you have to wake me up?" came a snappy voice in an airy tone. Yoko gave her a closed eyed smile. "Yeah, silly! Hey! You should be thanking me; if I hadn't woken you up, you would have fallen right out of the tree." The short-haired, brunette girl giggled as she punched her fed-up looking relative. "Some ninja you are."
"SHUT UP!"
"Okay." came the weak response.

Uzuki rubbed her eyes while Yoko pouted at her. She frowned. "Okay, okay Yoko! I'm sorry! I'm just a bit cranky." Uzuki yawned and Yoko cheered. The two headed inside where Zuki's mother was making breakfast.

Snapping out of her funk, Uzuki slid up to the table, trying to act cool )and mainly redeem her earlier embarrassing moment). She slid too far and fell face first into the ground. Her cousin and mother started to laugh hysterically. The red eyed girl, however, was not amused. She picked herself up, brushed herself off, and simply asked: "What's for breakfast?" Her mother smiled and pointed to the stove. Her eyes widened. Eggs, sticky rice, and honey- her favorite! Yoko watched the smile on her cousin's face grow but, she just sighed, not being very fond of honey and eggs. Paying no more attention to the food, she poked her head outside of the still wide open door. She saw a red blur in the distance.
"Zuki-chan! Look!"
Uzuki followed Yoko's gaze but didn't catch it. "You're crazy." she said, rolling her eyes again. The two eventually sat down and enjoyed their breakfast together in silence.

It was until that he and Kumiko witnessed their father dying in battle that their personalities did a complete 360. He is now a quiet, stoic child that cares for no one other than his sister. He doesn't even care about his aunt, even though she gave them a place to live.

Two deep orange haired children sat across from one another at the dining table, silently drinking their herbal tea in a dimly lit room as early morning was approaching. This was part of their normal routine; waking up, getting dressed and fully equipped, then sitting across from one another for their time of peace. To others, it may seem tedious to do such a thing every morning, but to the twins, it was a natural routine. Uzumaki Akihiko and Uzumaki Kumiko had only each other to rely on in Konohagakure. Sure, the apartment was under their aunt's name, and she had given them a home in the Uzumaki clan area, but she was never there. She was a busy woman, so she would stop around every month from Amegakure to check on the twins and help with whatever they needed. It was getting more and more difficult for them to even remember her name.

It wasn't easy to help with the Kagome clan and be there for the Uzumaki children. But both of them understood; Clan before family.

Akihiko looked down at the bronze liquid in his cup before looking back up to his burnt orange haired sister. She could feel her brother's eyes on her, but refused to return the gaze. Every time he looked at those metallic purple rings of her Rinnegan, he was reminded of the faithful day that the two of them lost their father, leaving them as the 'Uzumaki orphans'. It had been three long years since then, but Akihiko was still not used to seeing metallic silvery purple over hazel eyes like his own. Kumiko used to hold bright hazel eyes alongside her brother, but now... each time he looked at them, he felt nothing but a twinge of pain in his chest, and Kumiko could see it as clear as day. It hurt to know that the Rinnegan could never go away; it hurt the female of the two dearly.

For three years, the elder brother had to keep an eye on his sister. He had to be the rock, for both of their sakes. The Rinnegan was one of the rarest Kekkei Genkai an Uzumaki could ever obtain, and that was a problem. Akihiko was by no means jealous, but was more concerned for his sister than anything else. Kumiko's eyes made her a potential target for kidnappers and bandits. Seeing as she was the only one in Konohagakure that held the Rinnegan (that he knew of), Kumiko was a rare sight. Rare, and valuable. Hell, even just as valuable as a Jinchuuriki, and to be a Genin gave those bandits an incredible advantage against her. Unfortunately for her, once again, she was the only one who held it. That meant her Rinnegan was inexperienced and would take a long time to master, but she couldn't do it by herself. The two of them mercilessly trained and sparred together to become stronger, but Akihiko could do nothing for her when it came to the Kekkei Genkai. Using the eyes' ability was only for a life or death situation; neither of them knew the outcome of it, and weren't eager to find out.

Which was another reason why they had this tea drinking tradition of theirs. They never knew when they were going to die.

"Kumiko.. Look at me.." Akihiko murmured to his sister, who obeyed him after a moment's hesitation. The twinge from very brief flashbacks occurred, but brushed them off to not concern the girl. "Today, you and I are officially Genin... We're going to be put at risk at all times... A D rank mission could easily turn into an S rank with a snap of the fingers.." Something like that happening was very rare, but one could never be too cautious. The elder twin put his cup down, now finished and waiting for his sister to finish hers. "And one of these days... One of us might not come back from a mission.."

The orange haired girl took another gulp, finishing the rest of her drink before putting the cup down. She knew as well as he did the risks of being a ninja in general, but despite those risks,they decided to go for it anyway. Now, they were to meet their new Sensei at the assigned training grounds. Metallic purple eyes met hazel, though a small smile did come across her brother's features. "But for now, we're going to make the best of being a Shinobi and Kunoichi. Understood?" He asked the other, extending a hand to her. Kumiko offered her own smile in return and gave her brother's hand a light shake. It was their own promise to one another, and considering it was rare to see Akihiko smile, he intended on keeping it.

"Understood.." She murmured barely above a whisper. Kumiko didn't like to give the impression that she was shy, but she just wasn't as talkative. One could say her voice was underused ever since that day.

Akihiko took both empty cups and placed them in the sink with water, finishing up any last preparations (such as brushing the tea taste out of their mouths) before giving a head gesture to his sister. With that, Kumiko nodded and headed out the door with him, locking up before going down the Konohagakure path to the training grounds. They wouldn't want to be tardy on their first day of training; The male twin hated giving bad impressions. It didn't take long for the both of them to be arriving, and at the very least the two of them weren't late. The first thing both twins noticed was a person with very long crimson hair, even longer than Kumiko's (which reached just below her waist but was tied in a low ponytail).

"Is that Hibiki-sensei?" He asked his sister, who nodded her head once. 'He looks to spend more time on his hair than he does training.. But I can't underestimate him. Underestimating an enemy is their biggest advantage.' Akihiko thought to himself as the two of them arrived. Pretty hair didn't make this man their sensei, after all.

Neji awoke that morning officially a genin. It was finally his first step in becoming a shinobi and he was really excited for this day. Menu comes from the famed Uchiha clan, a lot of people in the clan have thought very highly of Neji and expect him to do great things. He does not intend on disappointing them. He got up got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. His father was already gone on a mission, so it was just him and his mother who just got back from a mission. She smiled as she made him breakfast. "Oh good morning Neji are you excited for your first day of being a genin."

Neji smiled back at her. "Yea mom I can't wait!" Neji sat Down and quickly are his breakfast. Once he was done he decided to activate his sharnigan fora minute. He was so happy that he had it, and that he now had two tomoe in each eye. He gathered up his gear, said good bye to his mom and started to head to the training field. Neji lived in the center of the Uchiha compound in the village. He smiled as he said hi to people he passed on his way to the training ground.

When he got there he noticed that his teammates and sensai were already there. His teammates were the uzumaki twins and his sensai was the meander if the senju. So the big three of konohas clans would be represented with this team. He smiled as he walked over to them. "Good Morning sensai, good morning Akihiko and Kumiko."

Having arrived early, Hibiki was already munching on one of his many apples when the genin arrived, the Uzumaki siblings arriving first. He was content to wait until the Uchiha boy arrived before he went through anything, finishing the now mostly mutilated apple and tossing away the mangled core. Rubbing his hands together in an almost malicious manner, he grinned at the trio of genin, his sharp teeth evident. He could tell that two of them had kekkai genkai immediately, the Rinnegan of Kumiko and Neji's Sharingan both being evident in their eyes. The older of the Uzumakis didn't appear to have one but Hibiki's experience told him that he could very well have the latent potential for it to be unlocked later. That however wasn't part of his job, as much fun as it might be to put him in mortal danger.

"Well then," he said as soon as the three genin had come together. "I see that I have my work cut out for me. Not only do I have a Sharingan but a Rinnegan in my team. But that's no issue for me - kekkai genkai are familiar. The real question is how well the two of you control it, but that comes at a later time. For right now though, the main issue is the fact that the three of you are a team now and if there's one thing that needs to be addressed, it's what you bring to the table in the form of your skillset. I admit, I don't know much about the three of you beyond your names and your clans so why don't you tell the rest of us what you're actually good at. Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, whatever the case may be. And if you feel like it, you can add anything else you want. Your likes, your dislikes, favourite food, whatever.

"And in the greater interest, you know I'm Nogitsune Hibiki. My specialty is drinking your blood. I prefer it fresh and human over beast. Preferably from the neck."

Both twins gave a half hearted wave to the Uchiha as a greeting. Akihiko and Kumiko were currently indifferent of their teammate, but he was a fellow ninja, so they would treat him just like any other genin. The two of them knew right away from seeing their sensei that he was a man of apples (and possibly insane). The man had demolished the poor thing as though he were starving. Kumiko kept a mental note that the crimson haired man enjoyed the fruit, in case the information was needed later on. And once the trio was paying attention to them, they were revealed the man's sharp teeth. Both twins felt a slight shiver of fear towards the other man. Hibiki-sensei was downright creepy if he seriously enjoyed human blood. He was going to be the death of them one of these days.

Akihiko inwardly collected the information about the two of them that he could tell the other man. Considering he has sparred with his sister more than he could count, he knew quite a bit about her and vice versa. "Kumiko and I are decent with Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, but we need more training in everything else..." He answered his sensei before adding. "She doesn't talk much." Akihiko didn't need his teammates thinking that she was a mute. She had a nice and sweet voice, but hearing it was as rare as her brother smiling fully. Favorites, likes, and dislikes were not important right now.

Neji listened to their Sensai. Something seemed a little off about him, but he was their Sensai so he figured he would get use to him eventually. Neji then heard him say that one of the uzumakis had the rinnegan. Neji was in shock, Neji never thought he would see the rinnegan especially from one of his genin teammates. Neji though was confident in his sharnigan that he could do fine against the rinnegan. Neji smiled after listening to his teammate talk about their skills.

Neji looked at those Sensai. "Well my taijutsu and ninjutsu are very good for a genin and now that my sharnigan has two tomoe I hope to start to become better with genjutsu as well. I graduated number one in our class at the academy and I Expect my skills to keep getting better. One day I dream of becoming head of the uchiha family and hokage of our great village!"

"An admirable goal Neji...but the path to it is drenched in blood and I won't always be around to lick it up for you. First and foremost among my job is to show the three of you what to expect. The twins listened to their teacher speak, absorbing his words like sponges. Ever since that day, the two of them were very well aware of the violence and bloodshed that the team would have to endure. Be it their own, or the opponent's, being a Shinobi without coming in contact with blood was impossible. Their father spilled blood in Amegakure and their mother in Konohagakure. Akihiko or Kumiko didn't hold a grudge against Konoha responsible for their mother's death, for they had managed to save the younger instead of letting both girls die. Their work allowed one of the rarest Uzumakis to live on, and the elder twin was grateful for that. It was Konoha that delivered the two of them, and Amegakure was the village that granted them a decent childhood and basic education in the Shinobi arts.

"Are you willing to kill? And...do you think you can when the time comes to it? In cold blood?"

Those questions echoed in both Uzumakis' heads, causing their chests a twinge of emotional pain from three years ago. They didn't go into deep conversation about ruthlessly killing someone for the sake of their village, they had both agreed that when the time came, they would do it. They still didn't know if they could actually do such a thing when the time came. Both Kumiko and Akihiko had only been in the leaf village for 3 years while they watched the never ending rain that was Amegakure for 10. It was difficult to protect a village that they didn't share many fond memories in. However, that didn't matter anymore; not after they became Genin. Neji listened to his Sensai and took everything he had said to heart. He knew that becoming a shinobi would mean that he would have to kill people and asking a kid of twelve years old to understand and be okay With the fact that he would have to kill people is tough, but Neji was prepared to do this. He wants nothing more than to be hokage one day and he knows that he will have to kill or be killed and he was fine with that.

Neji wants to protect his village his clan and his loved ones and he knows that to do that he must kill and he is prepared for that fact. "Yes sensai I am prepared to do whatever is needed of me to protect my village, my clan and my commrades."

"Good, good..." Hibiki said, turning on them and slowly walking away, his blade tapping against his shoulder.

"However, as I'm sure the three of you know by now, saying and doing are two very different things. You can say you have the conviction to kill all you want but can you muster the strength to? So I'd like you to prove that to me. Each of you. All you have to do is make a mark on me. Anything visible. A cut, a scratch, a burn, a bruise... One for each of you. If you don't come after me with the intent to kill though... you'll find it an impossible task. I on the other hand... expect the three of you to bleed. Whether by your own mistakes... or by me..."

There was a twist and a flash of silver. The chainblade was now rocketing towards Akihiko with enough speed to kill the boy if he didn't move, or so it seemed. Hibiki knew well his range and as he spoke, he had walked out far enough that the worse the Uzumaki boy would get would be a cut to the cheek. That is, unless he went and did something stupid. That had another grin on Hibiki's lips.

Hazel and Rinnegan eyes watched as the Jonin moved, listening to his words further. Killing someone in cold blood was much easier said than done, as the other had told them. Both twins were smart enough to know that. Then suddenly, one of Hibiki's blades came rushing towards Akihiko. He tossed his head to the side to dodge the incoming blade, though it was narrow and resulted in him getting a cut to his ear and losing a few strands of hair. The burnt orange haired boy had involuntarily pushed his sister out of the way as well, showing signs of his protective nature. Kumiko was quick to regain her balance, her Rinnegan eyes now focusing on her sensei this time. She didn't want to, but it would seem that she would have to be using her Rinnegan's power for this. This was her sensei, after all, and he wanted them to come at him like they would at an opponent. Her ability was going to require quite a bit of Chakra if she wanted to inflict damage on her sensei.

'Gathering the Chakra is going to take some time... Akihiko, Neji, and I will have to rush him.' Kumiko thought to herself, stealing a glance to both of her teammates.

"We have to work as a team...I know you both can see it..." Akihiko murmured to both teammates. "If we go in there without a plan, we're just going to be a mess of uncoordination... If we take too long, sensei will rip us apart.."

Neji had heard his sensais words and watched as he slowly walked away from the group. Right then Neji activated his sharnigan, his eyes lit up red with two tomoe in each eye. With his sharnigan Neji could read movements and could tell what an opponent was about to do. Neji could also copy someone's jutsu with a two tomoe sharnigan.

Neji saw what their sensai was about to do and Neji yelled. "Akihiko get out of the way!" Just as he said that their sensai shot his blade at Akihiko who moved just in time.

Neji looked over at Kumiko as his sharnigan eyes met her rinnegan eyes. "Yes you're right the three of us need to come up with a plan if we want to stand any chance against him. So how should we go about this?" Neji looked at the two twins as they all tried to think of a plan together. "We need to get him surrounded and attack as one from all different sides of him. I know he's a jonin but if we overwhelm him then we can take the advantage."

Hibiki inhaled slowly, the sharp tang of Akihiko's blood reaching his finely tuned senses.

"Mmmm....Not enough, not enough..."

Even though all he could hear were the soft murmurings between them, the jounin had already guessed their plan: a multiple-front attack. It really was their only option if they wanted to succeed at their skill level. Of course... they each had to get one mark on him. Someone would be on the losing side unless the trio were extremely lucky to get them all in an instant. No doubt the trio would also be giving their all - no less would be expected - and that meant there was a Sharingan assumed to be active.

Whipping his blade back he formed the ram hand seal and disappeared in a flash of crimson tinged silver before their eyes. He reappeared just as quickly a short distance behind them, his back to the river of the Third Training Ground, his blade held towards the genin between his hands in the snake seal.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"

In the time it had taken him to move, Hibiki had performed the first four handseals, the final one as he appeared. Now the gust of wind burst forward towards the genin at high speed, the intent to knock them back evident.

Before the three of them could come up with a solid plan, their sensei had disappeared from their sight. Hazel and Rinnegan eyes widened from the amount of speed Hibiki held, but they couldn't expect any less from him. 'What the-!?' Kumiko thought to herself, taking a quick second to observe her surrounds for the crimson haired Jonin. 'He's not above, not to the left, not to the right, so he must be-' She thought to herself as her head turned in those directions, her thoughts nearly cluttered. Both her and her brother had the same thoughts before it clicked at the same time. And at that moment, Hibiki exclaimed the name of his jutsu.

'Shit!' Akihiko inwardly exclaimed as both of them managed to look over their shoulder just in time for the technique. The huge gust of wind caused both twins to fly forward, Akihiko moved more to the left than his sister, who had flown further due to being lighter. The elder twin landed on his finger tips first then his feet, skidding a couple of feet from where he had originally landed. Hazel eyes immediately returned to watch his sensei while his sister had landed within the bushes a good distance away from him. He hadn't even looked around to see where Neji had went, since he didn't want to lose track of the opponent. He had separated from his sister which left the Genin to mentally curse.

'Shit.. Of course Hibiki-sensei wouldn't make this easy for any of us. Taking the time to figure out a plan is useless. If I can get Kumiko to use her Syrup Capture Field Jutsu the second I use a smoke bomb or Hidden Mist, we might be able to catch him for just a split moment. Neji can use his Sharingan to find him and even land a hit or two, leaving Kumiko and I to get one for ourselves. He can't possibly defend himself fully while he's stuck, can he?' Akihiko thought to himself before the problem struck. 'But how the hell am I going to get the word out to both teammates without the opponent hearing? The full on rush Neji said is our only plan, but one plan isn't good enough.'

'...Sensei saw right through us... How do we get a mark on him without killing ourselves?' Kumiko thought to herself, getting back up and out of the bushes. 'My Rinnegan... What can I do? It's my best bet, but I don't want to hit Akihiko or Neji..'

Neji with his sharnigan tracked their Sensai as he vanished and then appeared behind them. Neji could see what he was planning. Neji jumped into the air and landed in a tree dodging the attack that their Sensai had sent at them. Neji stood in the tree looking down at his Sensai and then looking over at the twins. He was trying to figure out a way that they could go about attacking their Sensai, maybe if Neji made the first move he could hold his own enough to distract their Sensai allowing the twins to attack while Neji is distracting him.

Neji decided to go for it. He threw down two smoke bombs at their Sensai and it covered the area in smoke. He then took 2 kunai blades and with his sharnigan he was able to see his Sensai in the smoke, he threw both of them at their Sensai. He then jumped down into the smoke. He threw a punch right at where his sensai's face was according to his sharnigan and was hoping to hit him.

Hibiki smirked as the smoke enveloped him; the Uchiha boy more than likely and there was an attack imminent; that much was certain. At this range though, he had exactly what he needed. A quick shift to form the tiger seal and he had summoned a water clone just in front of him. A short leap back behind it made certain he was out of the way. As expected, there was an attack, in the form of a pair of thrown kunai followed by a punch right at the clone's face.

Interesting. The jounin had only known what was publicly known about the Sharingan - that it couldn't tell the difference between a clone and the real ninja... This was a useful tidbit of information. Mentally filing it away, Hibiki formed the four seals for Decapitating Airwaves in quick succession, his clone mimicing it before both of them let loose with the blasts of air right at Neji, Hibiki's ten times more powerful than the clone's.

Land of Noodles​

It was very intriguing just how well the names of the different lands fit them like a glove. Masaru Goya thought so at least - his companion seemed to be more engrossed in the spirals of the kamaboko in her noodles. Still, he had to wonder at the lack of creativity in the founders of the land. Fire, Water, Wind, Noodles - they all worked very well, to be sure but Masaru couldn't help but feel as if it needed that extra pizzazz some days. He sighed before taking a big mouthful of ramen in his mouth. It'd been a while since they'd eaten out like this and he eagerly accepted the professionally made food over the half cooked meals they'd eaten while laying low.

Salt, spice, fresh scallions - and to think that a few days ago they'd been gnawing on burnt squirrel. Halfway throughout his meal, Masaru turned to face his friend whose bowl remained practically untouched. "Eat. You don't know when we'll be tracked down and you need to keep your strength up." He paused, slurping up the last of his noodles before frowning at her unbroken silence. Masaru shrugged, before reaching around her to take her bowl. He knew better than to push her. "Well, if you're not going to eat..." Although he'd just had a bowl, if there was anything this land prided itself on, it was the different varieties of noodles they offered. As it was, Masaru hadn't grown tired of their food yet and he found himself eagerly digging in once again.

A few minutes passed filled with only the approving sounds of his eating before he was finished. He tossed a few ryo on the counter, thought better of it and palmed his gold back into his pouch before leading them out into the streets. Many people came to eat here, some specifically travelling only for that purpose. What did it matter if they gave out two meals for free? Besides, Masaru needed to save his gold. He couldn't exactly complete missions anymore, being a missing-nin. All in all, the Land of Noodles was a very sleepy area in his opinion. Their presence would change that if they were found, which is why Masaru was careful never to stay too long in one place.

It was too dangerous to just stride along the main path, for many the Land of Noodles received too many foreigners for them to take the chance. Instead, Masaru and his fellow missing-nin stuck to the back roads more often than not. Finding solace in an empty storage room, they sat down to discuss their next plan of action.

"We can't stay here forever, Shika."

Shika Yukimura inwardly rolled her eyes. For all his supposed genius, sometimes Masaru could be a real Captain Obvious. Still, she had no right to speak out against him. She'd gotten them into this mess and although the Land of Noodles wasn't her idea of a hiding place, it was working so far.

"I know. I'm surprised that Kimigakure hasn't found us yet."

"Benefits of hiding just next door. They probably assumed we'd make our way to the Fire Country. As if we could seek any leniency there."

"Mmm." Though she doubted that they would be actively seeking out a missing-nin from Kirigakure, she knew a kunoichi with Genin blood on her hands wouldn't exactly be welcomed with open arms. Open fire, maybe.

"Anyway, we'd better make sure we leave here tonight. We've overstayed our welcome - Kirigakure is bound to have this place searched in no time."

Shika watched Masaru plan out their route, rations, protocol in case they were ambushed with and so on and so forth with listless eyes. How it was possible for him to keep on going, she didn't know. There was nothing to live for, no goal for her to strive towards and this made her care less and less as time went on. Shika had to admit, even as a Jounin in Kirigakure, that she'd always wondered about her future. While others were finding their own way she had always been on the fence - never happy with taking orders but finding no other way to live. Now, with all her options open, Shika had expected to find something to work towards but found nothing but survival itself. She envied Masaru, who even now seemed to walk with purpose in his step.

"... and when we're done that, I think you should cut your hair. Take up ninjutsu and put down the bow. It'll help you blend in more, which'll make it harder for Kirigakure to detect us."

Shika blinked. A small spark of resistance lit up in her and she shook her head in defiance. "No. I won't change who I am just for another day of my life. Let them find me - I'll kill them."

Masaru seemed to be taken aback slightly before he tapped her lightly on the cheek. "Now there's the Shika I used to know. Ready to move?"

In that moment, she knew she had more reason besides mere survival to carry on but she couldn't quite place her finger on it. There was no more time to dwell on it however, as they continued on their journey.

"So, where are we headed to?"

Masaru sighed. "Weren't listening, were you Shika? I went over this twenty minutes ago - we're hiding out in the Fire Country."

Shika paused in her step. "It'll be like stepping into Kirigakure."

It was true the sharnigan along with the byukugan and rinnegan could not tell the difference between a clone and a real person. The reason being that the clones all shared chakra from the caster so they all had chakra. When Neji punched the water clone he knew right away it was not his real Sensai. His sharnigan picked up another wind attack from his Sensai coming.

Neji could see the attack coming and Tried getting out of the way, but he could not fully dodge it. His lower left leg got hit by the attack as he could not completely dodge it, he did escape the full blunt of the attack though which was good for him. He fell to the ground for a moment as his leg was in pain, but he got him self up and jumped over to Akihiko. "Hey we need to come up with something or we will get a mark on him. He is to strong to face him one on one even with my sharnigan I could not even hold him off, so the three of us need to try attacking from different fronts all at once and we need to move fast before he has time to attack." Neji looked over at his comrade.
