Shizuka blinked when the Mizukage told her that she still had the new dojutsu active. "Oh... right. I actually forgot about that..." She chuckled nervously as her sensei quickly moved her off to the training area and she visibly reacted to that speed. The genin took a moment to look around at the area before taking a few steps back from the Mizukage. Deep breath. 'I can do this. I need to show her what I can do...'

She pauses for a moment as she thinks on how to start the fight with the Mizukage. If this was to test her skills, maybe she should cycle through all her different abilities ."Ready, Mizukage-Sensei." A shiver went down her spine when she said it, but didn't let it show. 'Start with that one genjutsu I know...' The hands come together to the form the snake sign before moving onto the rat. After the jutsu was complete, she drew her sword and charged at the Mizukage.
 
Taking the earpiece and fitting it into his ear, Hibiki grinned. The microphones would definitely help them coordinate the attempt. Of course, Hibiki had a set of his own for the group once they had figured out what to do but he was more than happy to let Neji take the spotlight there; being prepared for such a thing was a hallmark of a good shinobi.

"Excellent work Neji. Recon is exactly what we need to do in a situation like this. It won't always be like this, but consider these two facts - Tora is well known for escaping Madam Shijimi and a cat. We can assume that she is not only agile but good at hiding and escaping. Perhaps not as much as a trained shinobi but a match for genin such as yourself. She has no jutsu or weapons to worry about, aside from her claws and teeth. So most injuries sustained during this mission will be due to your own faults, if not all of them.

"Keep in mind one thing - this is not an enemy shinobi but a cat, and a well-loved cat of the wife of the Fire Daimyo at that. We do our best not to harm her, which means you need to keep a firm hand on using most jutsus.

"So knowing all of this, were is the best place to start looking for information about Tora?"

Neji stood there as he tried to think where they should start looking for the cat. The leaf village was a pretty big place so the cat could be anywhere. He then began to come up with a few ideas.

"Well I figure we should head to the Main Street with all the restaurants. I bet you tora is hungry and maybe one of the restaurant owners has given Tora some food. I've seen plenty of stray cats walk up to restaurants and the owners throw them some scraps."
 
Both Kumiko and Akihiko knew that Neji was right. Where else would a cat choose to hang out besides an alley, and near some restaurants? Maybe on a roof trying to hunt down a bird... Or maybe on a fence. The twins didn't know where else a cat could possibly go to in Konohagakure. They've only been there for 3 years, and have only been around the places they really need to know, such as the grocery store, clothing and weapons, and a few restaurants near the Uzumaki compound. Akihiko and Kumiko didn't get out all that often...
 
"A good guess and good deduction. Similar skills like that will be needed if you are to determine where and enemy shinobi might be lurking. A water style user like myself might be underwater for example. Of course, such knowledge must be obtained first but being able to use it is just as important.

"Now then, the three of you should probably scatter off - going in a group won't let you cover as much ground, not to mention that Tora will see you coming from a mile away. She's well used to this by now. Remember to keep an open mike and communicate as much as possible - the quicker you get this done, the sooner you can go for another mission and the more you three get done, the quicker you can get to the harder ones. So... scatter!"

With that final word, he used Shunshin to vanish away, presumably to the restaurants. In actuality, he was watching them from a fair distance away, listening in to them with the ear piece. He would direct them one they had found where Tora was but this was for them to do their best to find out where she was - information gathering and teamwork.

The Senju had woken up late. Groaning, she pushed her cousin off of her bed and slowly got up. Almost tumbling down the stairs, Uzuki saw that her mother had already cleaned up breakfast and was sitting in the living room, meditating.

"Haha?" she called into the other room. Her mother's eyes shot open and a smile graced her delicate features. "Ah, look who decided to join the world today? Your chores await you, Uzuki." This earned an eye roll from the younger female, as she /clearly/ didn't want to do any work. Suddenly, a loud and cheerful voice sounded from up the stairs.

"Don't give her that look, ne! You barely did anything yesterday!"

"Now, now Yoko. I don't need any help. Go do your chores, Zuki. Then go out and find something to do. Train, maybe. It shan't be long 'till they assign you to a squad. I packed your lunch so, take that with you before you leave. Okay?"

"Hai, haha." The silver/white haired female bowed to her mother and left the room, going back upstairs to change into her blue robes and tie her hitai-ate around her waist. After slipping her sandals on, she went to weed the garden, repaired a couple of things on the house, went to the grocery store, and finally helped out around the clan complex.

When Uzuki finally returned to the house, her lunch was warm. She shrugged it off and left to go get a mission to do.
 
Reiko felt as the foreign chakra entered her chakra system before quickly putting her hands together and dispelling it. She then ran forward with half of her speed, which to the genin seemed like she appeared out of nowhere, she was sliding in a crouch when she appeared with her legs out to trip up the genin, before she suddenly slammed her foot down and pushed wind chakra to her back lifting her upwards as she threw out a kick with her other leg before continuing the combo with a left hand claw swipe at her head and a right hand claw swipe at her stomach. She charged in without thinking about what her opponent was capable of or making any contingency plans, though her speed is average and she holds that weapon with some skill, it was still reckless. I'll have to solve that during training. Reiko thought during the encounter.

Shizuka's eyes go wide when the Mizukage moves forward so fast and strikes her so quickly. She instinctively blocks with the attack to her face with her left hand, barely managing to deflect one of the three blows, but the arm still manages to smack her in the face. The attacks hit, and she felt them, but... there was no pain to them. 'Did the Mizukage use some sort of Genjutsu on me? Why didn't that hurt? No, I didn't see her do anything but block mine... ' It takes her a small moment for that shock to subside before she reaches out to grab the Mizukages's arm. With the sword still in one hand, she swings for her sensei with the blade again.
 
Neji looked over at Akihko and Kumiko. He had lived in the village his entire life. So he figured he should take the lead on this mission. "Okay you guys we need to split up. This stupid cat could be anywhere in the village by now. So I'll go look over In the uchiha district. Akihko I want you to go by Main Street. There are a lot of restaurants there so Check in the back alleys and the back of restaurants where they throw out their food. And Kumiko I want you to go check out the hot springs. Once you've looked in the area if you can't find tora then radio in and we will decide where to look next. Okay let's go!" And with that neji jumped onto the top of the building and headed towards his home the uchiha district to look for tora.

Both Akihiko and Kumiko paid attention to their teammate's commands. Both locations sounded easy enough; how far could one cat go? They shouldn't underestimate a cat's capability when it has been a repetitive problem, but how could they not? They were ninjas and Tora was one cat; how bad could this be? Both orange haired twins nodded before setting out for their designated locations.

It didn't take long for both to meet their destinations. Kumiko had begun searching around the Hot Springs, calling for the cat by clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth. Akihiko, on the other hand, was searching through the alleyways and even looking around the garbage cans. Especially around the restaurants. After all, runaway animals have to eat, do they not?
 
Listening in over the comm, Hibiki agreed with Neji's idea silently. Main Street would be most likely if Tora wanted to eat, the hot springs likely if she wanted to relax out of the way, and the Uchiha district covered a fair amount of land and had both of them, not to mention they were Neji's home turf. He chose to follow Akihiko, guessing himself that at this hour Tora would probably be scrounging a bit for food, having guessed she had skipped out on breakfast with Madam Shijimi in order to escape and Main Street was the most obvious place. Logically as well, the shop owners knew her by now and while they probably couldn't catch Tora, it ws likely they knew something about her whereabouts, probably even given her some food.

A clip or so behind Akihiko along the rooftops, Hibiki kept one eye on the genin and the other on the streets and alleyways he passed, looking for Tora himself.

Neji jumped from roof top to roof top looking down towards he ground for the infamous cat. He decided he wasn't getting anywhere with this, so he jumped down on the ground and started to head to restaurants In his home uchiha district to see if they had seen the cat. He went around to the local shop owners and asked them, but unfortunately none of them had seen the cat. Neji did a final search of the area with nothing. He sighed as it looked like she wasn't in the uchiha district. Hopefully his teammates were having better luck as he made his way out of the uchiha district he radioed in to his teammates. "Hey Akihko Kumiko tora is not in the uchiha district. Are you guys having any luck?"

Kumiko had been searching around the hot springs, searching for little cat prints around the area or any other places close by. It was hard not to look like a perverted teen girl trying to get a peek inside, but hopefully the people around would understand that someone like her wouldn't dare try to peek into the Hot Springs...

Akihiko was currently unaware of his teacher stalking him. Another Genin may say that Hibiki-sensei was just testing him and his abilities, but to the orange haired teen, it would be considered stalking. He scanned the dirt near the restaurants, but there were multiple cat, dog, and footprints scattered around. He had asked the nearby owners if they had seen a cat that matched Tora's description, but of course, to no luck. Those owners must see plenty of cats a day, how are they going to remember one. However, one restaurant employee did say they saw some stray cats walking around not too long ago.

After hearing Neji speak in the earpiece, Kumiko pushed the button to report. "No luck..."

Then Akihiko. "No Tora. One owner said they saw some strays not too long ago; there's a chance she came around here. Not a good one, but a chance."
 
Tora the Cat
If one were to look near Hibiki's location they would have seen a small black blur appear before him. Once the blur stopped it revealed a small black cat with a red bow on it's ear and a small bell tied to it's tail with a red ribbon. The cat stared at Hibiki for a moment, it's golden eyes darting to him, before it disappeared into a blur again, heading in the same direction of the market district to try and find some food.
 
Hibiki kept tabs on Akihiko, making a mental mark that the orange-haired boy seemed to have some tracking skills on his arsenal, having examined the tracks in the dirt. Of course in such a crowded area with a number of animals, it was useless but in the field it would be indispensable. Filing it away, he was about to being moving again when he heard a bell jingling at a fast pace. Titling his head slightly, he listened for the direction the sound came in, an unusual sound to say the least. When it stopped near him, he looked around slowly, his eyes scanning for the culprit. Ahead of him stood Tora, a bell on her tail and a red bow on her ear. Smirking, he was tempted to pounce on Tora himself and let the genin go off on a wild chase while he had Tora safe and ready but before he could enact that idea, she was off, heading towards the Market district.

"I've got a bead on Tora," he said into the mic, keeping his voice low but still audible. "She's heading into the Market District. Akihiko, you're probably closest so get over there and track her. Kumiko, Neji, move it; we'll need all three of you for this."

With that he was off along the rooftops, keeping eyes and ears open for Tora and following her along.

Neji listened in on his head set. "Yeah I'm on my way." Neji jumped along the rooftops as he made his way out of his home Uchiha district to the market district. This wasn't the type of mission he hoped to be doing for long, but he knew every ninja even the hokage had to do missions like this when they were genin.

He made it over to the market district as he looked for Tora.

Personality: Kumiko used to be a cheerful and joyous girl during their childhood. While enrolled in the Ninja academy at Amegakure, she and her brother didn't take their training all too seriously. She was not as talkative, but she wasn't invisible to the rest of the crowd. It was until that she and Akihiko witnessed their father dying in battle that their personalities did a complete 360. Both Akihiko and Kumiko listened to their sensei as he spoke, the elder twin now even more alert for Tora. "Understood." Akihiko responded, heading towards the Market District, which really wasn't that far away from him. He kept his senses sharp, watching and listening closely for Tora while searching for any evidence that she was there. "Right.." Kumiko murmured, seeing that she was a ways away from the Market District. The Hot Springs was more secluded for reasons both twins didn't know, which meant Kumiko had to use Chakra within her feet to jump along the rooftops towards the Market District. Akihiko had told her once that Chakra was her friend, and it was going to help her in many situations, life threatening or not.
 
The Mizukage allowed the genin to grab and watched as said genin pulled her into the slash but right before it hit she Kawarimi'd with a nearby branch, appearing on one of the tree's behind the genin. She got up and started doing handsigns before shouting " Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique!" and proceeded to spit out massive amounts of Water from her mouth that slowly built up into a huge stationary waterfall that stood at the least 20 feet tall, before all of a sudden it lurched forward as it fell, producing a massive wave of water heading towards Shizuka.

Tora the Cat
Tora was resting in a back alley near one of the restaurants, supposedly this one sold Fish and Ramen, and was currently munching on a fish the owner had graciously gifted her with. That was when Akihiko had appeared at the end of the Alleyway while Tora, red ribbon and bow holding the bell on her tail, continued to munch on the fish.
 
Bounding over alleyways, the sound of a bell jingling brought Hibiki's eyes down to the alleyway he had just passed. He saw Tora there, happily munching on a cooked fish that had obviously been given to her by the shop owner. Spinning as soon as he landed on the other rooftop, his crimson hair swirling about him, he crouched down, out of immediate view of anyone, especially Tora. He wasn't about to radio in the sighting just yet, giving the genin a chance to find Tora on their own before he stepped in.

Sure enough, Akihiko appeared in one of the entrances to the alleyway. With a satisfied grin, he awaited the orange haired boy's reaction.

Akihiko had kept his hazel eyes peeled for the brown cat, searching in between the alleyways until sighting a brown cat and a large red bow on her munching on the fish. He stopped in his tracks, not making any sudden movements since he didn't want to scare Tora away. He rose a hand to his earpiece then pressed the button. "I got sights on Tora, right in between a fish and ramen place and another grocery market. Try not to make too much noise when you get here." He informed his teammates, choosing not to go in until his teammates were there on the off chance that the cat slipped away from a solo attempt.

Kumiko heard her brother's voice nice and clear, though he had to lower his voice when he said it. She moved swiftly along the rooftops until catching sight of her twin brother where he stood. Instead of making a hard landing next to him, she took the more silent way by landing on the dirt roads a small distance away from Akihiko then approaching him.
