Misca

As far as she could tell, there was little in sight besides dessert and a few mountains way far off in the distance. Alice looked around herself and made the conclusion that she stood in the middle of this vast dessert area. She knew that she had little water as it was, and a big dessert like this could easily drown her of water quickly.
Alice walked straight, not entirely sure of which direction she was going, but she guessed it really didn't matter at that point, seeing that it was nothing but a dessert landscape around her.

She had walked for a few hours before stopping and drinking a few sips of water. The day was beginning to get hotter and Alice was beginning to dehydrate from it. She had found a little shady spot being formed from a pile of rocks and took a sit in it and let herself rest her head against the rocks where, although very hot and uncomfortable, she ended up falling asleep.

Something tickled her face and she woke up instantly, looking around. She noticed then, that slithering down her face was a ball of sweat. She wiped the sweat off and stood up as she drank a few sips of water. Alice picked up her sharpened-stick and began to walk forward, although she didn't walk for long when something caught her attention.

There, in the middle of her path, was a huge black cloud. At first, Alice thought she could go around it, but in trying to do so, she realized that the cloud was closing around her. She thought about walking through it, but it looked as if the inside of it was nothing but pitch darkness, and she wasn't sure if she'd be able to get out. The only opening Alice could see was at the top of the cloud, where there was a little hole. But she knew there was no way of reaching that, unless she could fly.

"Ah..So, just as I had hoped."The lord sat in his dark room looking at a small ball in his hands. In the ball, it showed the two humans being taken away from each other and them having to go on their own ways. "Let us see who will survive their task." The lord said quietly to himself as he watched the two humans begin to enter their most dangerous task of all.

Just then, the cloud that surrounded Alice, began to suck in like a vacuum cleaner. She knew then that something bad was about to happened as she felt herself be picked up and thrown into the air. Her body spun around quickly and her limbs were being knocked around like rag-dolls. As then, she found herself in a pitch of blackness, where her body began to shiver. Alice closed her eyes as she felt herself being thrown into the cloud and at the last moment, she felt herself hit hard on something that felt like concrete and then she blacked out.

When she awoke later, Alice could hardly believe what lay in front of her....

Keemaki's brains felt rattled and dislocated. As hard a he tried to push the memory of his transformation away, he found it to be no use, instead the thoughts of his demon self pushed through to the front line of his thoughts. He had transformed! He had seen the world through the eyes of a demon, no that wasn't right, he had seen the world through his own eyes in demon form. Still, at the same time, he felt like his normal, timid, caring self. He was split, but for now it seemed that his old self, the one he had known and loved his entire life was here to stay, but for how long he did not know.

He rubbed his head and stood up, looking around in an effort to clear his hazy vision. His memory came rushing back to him in a wave. He was in a land called Misca, sent on a mission to prove his "powers" he had had a companion, but they got separated and she was no where to be seen. There were others, dark men in long robes. They were the ones in charge here, but like the girl, they seemed to be gone too.

He stood and looked around. This was a barren place, nothing like the place he had been before. Here, sand covered everything. It reminded him of something from the movie "Mad Max" because remains of ancient structures lay rotted away all around him.

When he finally felt like his legs would hold him he began to walk. After a few minutes he realized something. He wasn't surrounded by ruined buildings…he was surrounded by buried buildings. It seemed that the dirt and sand that was all around had buried everything. Only the roofs and smoke stacks of chimneys were visible, and stuck out no higher than about waist level. It was like the lost city of Atlantis, except in the earth instead of at sea.

Whatever was going on, he assumed this was all part of the test. Only time would tell what was to come next.
