"It was two weeks ago. Other than that, it has been quiet. The structure just kind of...sits there. Truly unnerving, if you ask me." Said the messenger.
Those were the last words that were spoken, to the young priest. Soon, he departed the secondary camp that he arrived yet after nearly a month at sea. It was a bit of a dragging experience. The crew on the ship did naught but poke fun at him, as ruffian people often do. While that didn't give too much of an issue, they ended up getting hit with storm after storm. Which thankfully they were ready for, but it put him below deck most of the time.
When he finally arrived onto the shore of Florania, it was only a short ride to the camp. After gathering what information he could, it turns out some sort gate just sprouted out of some rocks. Nothing seemed terribly wrong until villainous creatures poured out and started attacking the team of excavators that were attempting to uncover a mysterious object radiating magic about three months before. However, that is not why the man of the light was here.
That gate not only was described as something that someone had to search in old books for, but the brand of evil that it unleashed was exactly the kind that his church preferred to be dragged into the light. He was sent in for a preliminary investigation and to see if the rumors were true.
Sounds like they were....
