Amongst the assembly men is one of much controversy, Arten Firlyth. Whispers on the streets and within the assembly say that is it not long before the Taliye tosses Arten out of the assembly. Why has this man received ill-will from his peers and the public? SImple. He advocated for better treatment of the Tribes on Qaybiyo and more restrictions on the relationship with Darnvia. Some of the more extremist Elves call him a traitor and desire the Firyth patriarchy's death. This treatment and her father's philosophies have affected Reeva- not only in her relations, but in her world views and relations with others. Her father began with public favor, and during that time, Reeva was a friendly child who was well liked amongst her social circle of fellow elites. Yet during the recent tension between Darnvia & Qaybiyo and the Assembly & her father, the same circles offer her catty remarks and sneers. Her father had turned her into a social pariah, and thus, most suitors of respectable means are distancing themselves with her. That's fine, of course, Reeva needs no partner. She had decided that her path was to complete her father's mission. Thus when Qaybiyo found the staff in the Ancient Royal Mounds several years prior (Reeva-18), the object was passed around the Royal family until it was found none had a pure enough heart to wield it. An Archbishop received a dream that it would go to the dark of night born in the sun- who will bring change for the better. Due to Reeva's birth during high noo(t)- a rariety of dark elves- it was determined the staff was hers to protect and improve Qaybiyo.

Biography:
Jun was more or less born into servitude. His mother was a servant at the Wiyung Estates, and as a single mother, she brought her child to work with her. Jun never really got an education other than 'this is how you fold a towel' or 'this is the proper way to prepare tea.' Thus, he was also destined to work at the Mansion. Now, as a young adult and an orphan, he desire more than servant work. He wants to own his own Estate, but there are very little opportunities presented to him. Because of that, he will use everyone for what they are worth, particularly through sexual means. His true goal, that he denies, is to be loved and have a stable, respectable life. Emma King was born to two lovely people, Heather and Samuel. Lovely people, however, do not always make for lovely parents. Her mother, a psychiatrist, did her best to follow standard protocal for rearing a child. A blend of dinners around a table, forced activities (like the violin), and positive reinforcement were implemented to ensure Emma grew up to be well adjusted and talented. Her schedule became rigorous, and nothing she did gave her enjoyment. Thinking she was lonely, Heather and Samuel sent their only child off to visit some cousins.

Needless to say, the cousins were not as well disciplined as Emma. Their life of partying drugs, and sex was addicting. She loved the feeling of losing control and seeing where the night would take her. On returning home, she swore she'd follow the straight and narrow, but, the temptation was too much to resist. She went out, as far as she could go, and lived it up. Eventually, she ran out of money to pay for the lifestyle. One of her fuck buddies suggested the escort business. Make a little money, get a little lovin'. The life. Part of Emma thinks she won't make it until her 22nd birthday, but she doesn't care.

They may not have spoken the same language, but judging by the salacious tone and looks, the savage was flirting with her. Rou scowled. Her face contorted into something ugly, and her body tension- drawn tight like and archer's bow. How dare he! How dare he underestimate her! Because she was a woman? Rage filled her. Everything that she had worked for, in this moment, felt like nothing. Like every woman, she had worked tirelessly to present themselves as equal. One would think that an enemy is an enemy on the battlefield.

So distracted was she, that she did not notice the limber viking cross the distance until he was right in front of her. Blows were exchanged back and forth. A strike to her foot crippled her movement, yet she persisted. However, a press on her blades from the larger, stronger man forced her back. Rou sharply exhaled, apprehensive at what his next would be. However, she did not expect a kick to the chest. The force pushed her back into the wall. Her head bobbed back, but thankfully, she pulled just forward enough to avoid a serious head injury. Her opponent seemed to move onto the others.

Roulan pulled herself into an upright position. Her lungs burned, protesting each movement. Fuck. Her ribs hurt. Her foot hurt. Nothing was going well. Grinding her teeth from pain, she did her best to turn herself to the viking's location. There was only one tool left in her arsenal, her blood bending. Usually she avoided using her talent, because focus is necessary to prevent losing control and killing her enemy. Killing, according to Master Wiyung, was frowned upon. Keeping that in mind, Rou began her focus on her opponent. She visualized the blood flowing through his left leg.

More focus and she imagined the blood clotting, slowing and limiting the flow. If she had done everything correctly, the limb would begin swelling and become more difficult to use. That would hopefully give Chih more time to react and gain the upper hand.

Jude's father did not want any children. He wanted to live, well, wildly. Trevor flitted around, slept with women, spent money he didn't have and generally lived his life the way he wanted to with little consideration for his family. On occasion, Trevor would return home to Boston for money. Little Jude was so excited but then heartbroken when his father treated him callously and left again. At times, he would pray that his mother would come and get him. All he wanted was a normal family, so that the kids at school wouldn't mock him for having a druggie-alcoholic father that didn't love him.

So, Jude was raised by his grandfather. It was the two of them for the longest time. Samuel, the grandfather, did his best to raise Jude, but Jude never got over the constant betrayal of his father and the absence of his father. In recent years, Samuel met a quirky older lady. She sort of adopted Jude as her own, and they all live pretty happily. When a seeker found Jude, he was pretty angry. He did not want to go to some stupid camp with other freaks. However, Samuel thought it was for the best. This summer is his second at camp, and he's not looking forward to it.

She can be incredibly impatient and hates when anyone does anything for her, she'd much rather do it herself. Olivia is a terrible liar. Absolute terrible due to her hardcore Catholic childhood. History:
The second child of Michael and Samantha Solomon, Olivia was the long awaited for child. The parents struggled to conceive as her old sister was born ten years prior. Michael was a Banker and most importantly, a man of God. Raised Catholic, Olivia followed the steps towards righteousness. She was confirmed and went to a Catholic primary school.

Her father, originally from Texas, brought his family back to care for his aging mother and father. The lack of 'appropriate' Catholic education nearby meant Olivia had to attend public school for Middle and High school. Olivia loved it. No uniforms meant an opportunity to get away from plaid skirts, and it was a great way to express herself. Despite being friends with the wildest group in town (in a good way), she managed to come out unscathed with a 4.0. Her extracurriculars and accolades allowed her attend her dream school- Johns Hopkins. Her experience at Hop was amazing, and everything only made her more excited to attend Med school.
