Well, depending on where you're at... It is the season. Of course all of our pollen right now is yellow and looks like dust.
 
Oh that's an asthma nightmare. All of that pollen in the air!

To answer, yes it's "new" ( within the past decade)
 
Interesting. I might take a crack at it, the last musical I saw in person was Sweeny Todd and Phantom of the Opera (respectively I can't remember which was the most recent). So if it's up somewhere, I'll take a gander.
 
Similar to Ride The Cyclone, there totally isn't a tour/ student version on YouTube you can watch.
