Arisa Honda

She listened to the Presidents speech and filled the vowels missing internally. It was a skill she'd had to learn quickly. Otherwise it could take more time than necessary to understand him. At first Arisa would need a couple seconds to put everything together but she was at a point where she simply added the vowels as he spoke. It was an unconscious action as well. If a person had asked her how she understood the President she'd first and foremost look out for Imara. Her second action, however, would be to tilt her head. Understanding him came as natural as a tidal wave and as smoothly as a brook.

Arisa had spaced out a bit but Ryo's words snapped her back into reality. She hopped of the table and skipped a few steps to catch up. "It definitely could!" Arisa returned his smile. The girl walked slightly ahead of him put the classroom. She would be at his pace then bounce a step forward on accident and end up ahead. She was rather excited about the investigation which led to her sub-par walking skills.

Yuuki Miyamoto
After the club president had finished speaking, it seemed that the club would be investigating the storeroom at that instant. Yuuki sighed softly to himself before standing up and walking out of the room, straggling behind the main group. He absentmindedly kept rubbing the luck charm as he followed the group, the feel of the bright red fabric bringing him enough relief to think clearly as the others chattered. Hands grabbing young girls in a storeroom during the middle of the day. Well, that certainly didn't sound like a ghost to him. An angered spirit? Maybe. A mischievous yokai? Much more likely. The young man hadn't yet encountered a yokai, not that he'd known of at least. If it was a yokai of some sort and not a spirit, he wondered just how much the rest of the group would rely on him for some sort of knowledge. Sure, a lot of the members had a good idea of what different yokai were and how they worked, but did they feel like he was more qualified to deal with one just because he was training to be a shrine priest? Yuuki certainly hoped not, but it would have to be one of those calls that came in the midst of the moment. He slipped the luck charm into his yukata before trotting to catch up with the rest of the club. The young man purposefully kept himself at the rear, if only because he'd accidentally come into contact with Satchai's lamp once and it hadn't been a pleasant experience.

Shuichiro shrugged. He knew he wasn't going to get anywhere, so why even bother?

"Bye," he said flatly, as he went to join the others.

---

The door slammed open as Kenji made his way out into the hall. His head turned idly toward the window as he walked, and he stared out into the courtyard until he came to the stairwell.

He made a small leap from the second step from the bottom. It was a force of habit that he'd picked up when he was young, when he'd been visiting Akane over the summer. Who needed the first step? She'd said that while grinning wide. Just thinking about her made him pause at the bottom of the steps for a second. Soon, though, he made his way outside the building.

Kenji made his way over to the fields, towards the storeroom. He stopped in front of the storeroom, staring hard at the door. He turned to the group, mentally doing a head count.

"S'erryone here?"

He patted the door to the storeroom.

"W'r about t' see what da hecks goin' on inside," he said, grinning. Then, putting on a fake grimace, he added, "If'n any of ya needs t' use th' washroom, I s'gest ya go now."

Yes, because I came all this way just to wet myself on account of some pervy hands, Ryo thought, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. I'm more likely to break the fingers. The first real chance at seeing something actually interesting in this town and Kenji thought they were scared? Well, no sense wasting a good setup, silly though it may be. "Don't worry, girls," Ryo said confidently, "if some ghost gets too grabby, I'll remind it of its manners." He cracked his knuckles to illustrate the point, paused, then looked at the male members of the club. "Oh, and you guys too, I guess." Whether that meant he would protect them too or that they should watch their own hands was a question he left them to ponder. For now he gestured toward the door in a polite 'after you' manner.

Arisa Honda

"You're absolutely all of our heroes." Arisa gave a small but teasing smirk to Ryo for the manly gesture. Not that she didn't at all appreciate it. She was a small girl and she knew she couldn't defend very well against any sort of hands grabbing at her. Though she was certainly no wimp and would sure as everything try to stop the hands herself if she needed too. Ryo's declaration was a little comforting however just in case she needed it. She simply liked to tease everyone at least a little bit. Arisa made the connection between a washroom and a bathroom a second later and clicked her tongue indignantly. "Nobody is wetting themselves." She rolled her eyes.
