In a region in Japan, invisible to the rest of the world, lies a city called Akumashi(悪魔氏). It may seem like your average Japanese city at first glance, but it keeps some secrets away from average people – demons. Yes, demons lurk inside the city at night time; some even at day. Those demons vary from all kinds of shapes, sizes, personalities, etc. They are just like a species of animals, much different than the rest. They have different powers, created just to kill human beings. But why do they want to kill them? Is it because they eat them and serve as their energy source? Or because they feel disgusted by humans? Maybe they see humans the way humans see cockroaches, mosquitoes, or any other kind of annoying insect? Or maybe they do it because it's FUN? Almost everything about them is unknown to human kind and they do their best to find as much about them as possible and even destroy the demons!
There are a lot of schools in Akumashi, but there are only a few, which specialize in the learning of these demons. The most popular of them all are two – Bouyakiru Koukou(棒やキル高校) and Joshikiru Koukou(女子キル高校). What makes them so famous is the fact that the students exterminate some of the demons, depending on their difficulty level, and are right against each other. They may even be considered as rivaling schools, as the two principals dislike each other, but it's unknown whether the students do so too.
This is just a Sign-ups thread, so all the other details and images will be left for the actual roleplay. My characters will be posted later on, too. Oh, and one more thing:

Demons come in different shapes, sizes, types, 'breeds', personalities, attitudes and may speak different languages. There are only a few demons that are capable of speaking English or, less likely, Japanese and they are able of walking around town during day time.
Although the demons are monsters, they can still look similar to humans, animals, plants, etc. They don't have specific forms, though, but have their specific types that will be learnt by studying at school.
The reason the come out only at night is because their skins are extremely sensitive towards the UV rays and cannot stand the sunlight for too long. BUTT there is, however, a small amount of demon population that have developed skin, close to the one humans or any other kinds of animals have, and are capable of walking around in a sunny day without covering their skin or feeling any pain.
No one can see demons. I repeat – NO ONE. They cannot be seen by the average human, nor felt by any other animal. Their skin is quite the interesting thing to learn about – it appears to have a scale-like surface that is really shiny and reflects absolutely everything. They also have some sort of sticky substance on the surface of their skin, which makes them see-through; the amount a demon has varies and factors such as shape, size or type don't matter when it comes to the amount of that particular substance they have. It's like a walking mirror, which is also transparent by that! There is, however, a way to see them, which will be uncovered later on.
Another thing about the substance is that the humans, who know about demons, refer to as "grease", since it is quite similar to grease. Demons produce it the same way we do as sweat – through their specificglands.
The reason why they kill people is still unknown. Some claim that they do that just for fun. Others think they may use humans as an energy source. Others suppose they may be disgusted by us the same way we are disgusted by cockroaches or centipedes, for example. Further research will be done on that.

Joshikiru Koukou, as being a pretty famous school for its elite female students, is the perfect place to send your daughter to start studying in all kinds of categories, varying from Geography, History, Math, Japanese and so on to Physical Education and Martial Arts. People wonder why and how this particular High School in Japan is a three-in-one, as it's also a Junior High and A University and students from the age of twelve can start studying there. Another question is why is it so… Luxurious? Where does the principal find all the money and materials to build up such an enormous school with nearly everything you can think of? It has ten floors, the lot it's built on is with the size of a billionaire's mansion, it has all sorts of facilities for fighting and defending skills, sports, studying, even living! Speaking of living, there are also dorms specifically for that school not too far away from it! Each room can hold from one to five students and there are a hundred of those in total!
Okay! So, back on the real deal! Something unknown to the parents of the students is what they're studying exactly – no one knows about demons, except the military forces and the students from the demon-specified schools. The parents pay a surprisingly small fee of a million yen for their kids to study their whole ten years of education there and leave them be afterwards, without even knowing what their child had studied through that time. Sounds pretty sweet, no?
And one other thing that is also unknown to the parents – the principal. They have never seen him and aren't allowed to do that. Then how do they enroll their kids in the school? They sign up their children for the school either through the official site http//:www.xxx.jp, call the vice-principal or personally speak with them to get the documents. It's rather weird as to how they even trust the principal, but hey! A cheap price for a glamorous school! Who wouldn't catch the bait? As for the principal, he will be uncovered later on~

The female students that have just joined will be able to choose their type of weapon a few days after the start of the school year. They will have to describe what exactly they want and how the plan to use it, fill out a form and then be introduced to their new weapon. All the forms will be shown on the first day of the school year.
The classes of the students will be announced at the beginning of the school year. Same goes for the dorms they will stay in, depending on their wish. It is preferred a student stays in a three-person to a five-person dorm, as they save a lot of money and also get more space. The one and two-person dorms are limited to more "special" students, such as the more elite ones, skilled ones, those with reputation in their family and so on. Such a 'special' student can choose with who they want to stay in a two-person dorm, no matter what the rank of their roommate is.
There are forty-six squads of five people each. Each squad has a letter of the alphabet. The first five squads are the 'elite' ones. They go with the letters a, i, u, e, o (あ、い、う、え、お), "a" containing the most skillful students. Their "skills" depend on their grades, knowledge, physical abilities, numbers of demons slain and reputation. It's extremely difficult to get in an elite squad, so don't trust on that. And it's not much of a good idea to mess with them, as they are really cocky, proud and aggressive at times. The last six squads are the bad ones, by the way. They go with the letters ya, yu, yo, wa, wo, n(や、ゆ、よ、わ、を、ん), "n" being the worst. You may have noticed that the alphabet wasn't right, since ra, ri, ru, re and ro weren't between yo and wa. Yes, that is intentional and no one knows why the principal had decided to leave it like that. The students in these squads are all in High School. 1. No offences, insults and so on, unless it was intended to be funny or a joke. If it sounds a bit too mean, I will notify you about it and will ask for an explanation of what you wanted to write.
2. Be ready to play as an NPC from time to time. There will always be such and they are allowed to be played by everyone. I know that this is on an Elementary level, but something from the Advanced will still be found here.
3. You are not allowed under any circumstances to roleplay as someone else's character. You can only roleplay as your own character, side characters – used or not – and repeat in your speech another character's actions. EXAMPLES:
- A: Wendy(the character) goes to the street and meets Linda.
B: Linda sees Wendy and shakes her hand.
A: Wendy smiles at Linda and introduces herself. THAT IS OKAY.
- A: Wendy goes to the street and meets Linda. Linda smiles at her and comes over. NOT OKAY
- A: Wendy goes to the street and after seeing Linda, introduces herself.
B: Linda smiles and introduces herself to Wendy. Then an unknown man pats her on the shoulder and asks her for directions.
A: Wendy looks at the man and he looks back at her. Then he goes between both of them and introduces himself. OKAY
4. No GMing. Even I am not allowed to do that, although I'm the host. Please keep in mind that no one and nothing is perfect, even the immortals in the roleplay. EXAMPLES:
- A: After infiltrating the demon's base, Wendy kills all the hundreds of tough demons, unlocks all the doors and finds a hidden treasure in the deepest part of their base all by herself. Then she knocks the ceiling and runs away back to the school with the booty without any difficulties. NO. JUST NO.
- A: After infiltrating the demon's base, Wendy calls her friends to help her out with defeating all the demons. They somehow manage to deal with the weaker ones, but the tougher ones were defeated by them with a lot of effort. It was almost impossible. After dealing with all that, the slightly injured girls find so many ways to either break or unlock the doors. Then they find a treasure chest and decide to take. Running all the way back to the exit, they continue to their school, a few of the girls carrying the chest, and then uncover its mysteries in a hidden place. They later try to heal their wounds and… THAT'S MUCH BETTER, NO?
5. This roleplay shouldn't consist of smut at all. If you want it to have explicit things, notify me and I will move it to the T-rated Libertine roleplays and check absolutely everything in it~
6. If you're not up for everything possible in this roleplay(ecchi, horror, action, thrill, romance and so on) please endure it or leave. Please note that these "descriptions"(the sentences that make obvious sense in the braces, maybe) are kind of answering some questions that may be asked. At one time I got incredibly lazy and stopped describing, cause YOLO(that one shop about owls, ya know). If you do not need these descriptions, there is absolutely no need to read them and you can go on to the other spoiler without them.
General Characteristics:
Full name: (Should contain given name and surname at the least. You can also add the nickname in the middleinquotes, or additional middle name/s.)
Nickname: (Names the character can be called as. Can be a cute shorter version of their real name, an offensive shorter version, a random word they can be called as to show you relationship with them or just to be nice/rude (like "bunny poo" or "toothpaste" or "horse face" ("Bunny poo" is supposed to be a cute compliment, by the way.), a long sentence (like "that crazy otaku guy, who is obsessed with moe and stuff like that" or "the b***h, who always kicks me in the a*s"(I totally need your opinion on swearing, as I do that too much but do my best not to XD)). Everything else works too (like "the commander", or "Miss All-Perfect~~~!!1!1!!11!!").)
Age: (If a student in either school, should range from 12 to 25. Best if in the middle of their teens. If a teacher in either school, should range from 19 to 65. If an extra character, should range from 0 to 120. If a demon, should range from 0 to 1000 (as their age span is still unknown and we'll leave it there). If a pet, check the life span of that particular animal (or human)(or plant) and choose an age from there.)
Type: (Can be human, demon(if you plan on making a demon, keep this for later on as I'd like for you to explain what type of demon it is and will explain those on a later date), an animal(and please include what animal if you plan on making some, plant, mushroom or whatever it is. Make sure it's a living creature, okay?)
Gender: (Can be male, female or a hermaphrodite naturally. If the characters have been through modifications, they can be transsexual (physically changed genitalia through surgery), transgender (act and look as the opposite gender without physically changing or modifying the genitalia; would prefer to be recognised as that particular gender they prefer to act as.), gender fluent (recognise themselves and act as both genders without actually minding being called neither "he" nor "she" (not quite sure about the last one)) or anything else of the sort.)
Sexuality: (Can be heterosexual (interested in the opposite gender), homosexual (interested in the same gender), bisexual (interested in both genders), pansexual (interested in character, disregarding the gender) and asexual (not interested in sexual things; sometimes not even in romantic things). If I missed a type of sexuality, please inform me.)
Birthday: (Should be in format as Day/Month/Year of birth.)
Zodiac sign: (Depending on the date of birth. Appearance:
Height: (How tall is your character. Can be in metres(m), centimeters(cm), feet(ft.) and/or inches(in).)
Weight: (How much do they weigh. Can be in kilograms(kg) or pounds(lbs.)
Figure: (Like slim, fat, skinny, roundish, slender. You can add if they are curvy, muscular or describe the form of the pet and/or demon.)
Hair style and hair colour: (Describe the way they keep their hair(or fur) and the colour of it. If it's dyed, it should be mentioned. And keep in mind that as much as this is fantasy, "natural pink hair with silver stripes" does not work here. But it can be dyed that way. And natural silver hair actually exists, but only amongst people from colder countries, so if you want it to be naturally silver, it's best if the character were a foreigner or their parents were foreigners and so on.)
Eye type and eye colour: (I am planning on keeping this manga-ish, so you could also say if the eyes are in continuous or non-continuous style. If you do not know what those are, then imagine the human eye. If you widen it mainly vertically, then it's non-continuous (such as in Angel Beats! or Sailor Moon). If you enlarge it , but still with a similar form as the original human eye, then it's continuous (like in Shingeki no Kyojin(Attack on Titan) or most characters in Bleach). Regarding the eye colour, the two main and natural are brown and blue. Recently, I found out there was this brown-ish substance in your eye that can be caught by either heritage or a rare sickness. They make your eyes appear green, gray, darker, or sometimes even red. It can also be found only in one eye, so different colour in each eye is allowed(as long as it's realistic). You can modify the eye colour by contact lenses or factors that will be mentioned later on.

Eye type and eye colour: (I am planning on keeping this manga-ish, so you could also say if the eyes are in continuous or non-continuous style. If you do not know what those are, then imagine the human eye. If you widen it mainly vertically, then it's non-continuous (such as in Angel Beats! or Sailor Moon). If you enlarge it , but still with a similar form as the original human eye, then it's continuous (like in Shingeki no Kyojin(Attack on Titan) or most characters in Bleach). Regarding the eye colour, the two main and natural are brown and blue. Recently, I found out there was this brown-ish substance in your eye that can be caught by either heritage or a rare sickness. They make your eyes appear green, gray, darker, or sometimes even red. It can also be found only in one eye, so different colour in each eye is allowed(as long as it's realistic). You can modify the eye colour by contact lenses or factors that will be mentioned later on.
