This is only accurate when I am minding my Ps and Qs for whatever reason--usually in a controlled, hostile environment. Surely, for some it is possible to have a regional accent and still grasp the basic concepts of English diction. They're probably very lonely up there on their pedestals. (LOL did all of those sound the same?) :P
Everyone around me just says 'Coke' and that could be anything.
I say soda. And sometimes sodie water. But only if there is actual sodie water available. :|
