General Cloud watched the Hybrids interact and snickered. He decided they'd been mingling long enough, picking up an intercom speaker he held down a red button and shouted into the microphone. "Hybrids fall in!" It was time to get this project underway. The whole point of this mission was teamwork and to see if it could test the bonds these Hybrids had with each other. As everyone came over, he looked down and scanned over them. "Each of you were picked because of a special ability you hold and your strengths. Even some of the bonds you have with each other. For the testing, we are going to do you weaknesses. Each of you has something mentally or physically disabling to you and these tests are going to, well, exploit that weakness." He grinned. "We are going to start with each group." A group of military men came into the Rec Room followed by a group of different scientists new to the building. "First up is our Stealth group, then Aerial, Ground Support, Brute, and last is Rubin's team." He watched the Hybrids for a moment before taking a deep breath in. "NOW GET INTO YOUR GROUPS!" He shouted. His voice echoed throughout the Rec room many times. It was an echoy room to begin with.

"I hope to avoid death for any of my friends..." Ella looked down. Losing any of her friends who be heart breaking, it had been in the past. Riley was her oldest friend now, and she was friends with most people, but some of the good ones she used to have were dead down. She sighed and shook her head. "This god dam-" Ella jumped when the General's voice broke into the Rec Room over the speakers. Why was she so jumpy lately? Her feathers puffed out as a natural reaction and she growled at herself. "Stupid wings..." Ella murmured and walked over to the area that they were gathering to listen to the general. 'Exploit their weaknesses? Didn't this place do that daily?' Ella thought, she didn't have to guess for herself where she'd be tested. "This is gonna hurt..." Ella whispered to herself. She wasn't extremely physically strong and was better at problem solving. So Physical exploitation it would probably be.

Unlike a few others, Maeve's ear merely flicked backwards when she heard a click over the intercom then the General's annoyingly booming voice. With a roll of her eyes, Mae looked down. She had reached it to the top of the 40 ft rope just a minute ago and now she had to make a quick departure. Looking around, she noticed the monkey bars. After judging the distance carefully, Maeve swung her body a few times, before releasing the rope. One back flip later, she landed on the monkey bar. She then looked around for the next thing to leap onto. She noticed one of the dummies and leaped atop of it's head. The stupid thing activated so Mae quickly flipped off and landed on her hands. The thing came at her but she had no time to play. She jumped onto her hands then sprung off the ground and her body flew into the robot. A minute later, she stood on it and had it turned off. Once that little problem was finished, the panther girl sprinted to her group. Surprisingly, she was the first of her team. She stood the same way she had in the Rec Room and faced her General. Turned out the Stealth Team was going first. However, Maeve was physically capable an mentally strong. The only thing was that she had trust problems. Her greatest weakness yet her greatest strength. Well, that's how she saw it. Although she knew the General was gonna get her weakness, she was ready for it. After all, he couldn't use that against her as she had always been alone and independent.

Nikolai heard the General speak and turned his head to the direction of the intercom. When he heard the General's plan to exploit the Hybrids weaknesses, both physical and mental he grumbled. This was stupid. He was an efficient machine, he could kill, he could break shit, no one on this mission could ruin that. He outweighed and outgunned everyone in the facility, maybe Barnabas could put up a fight but that croc would be a pair of boots if he came at Nikolai.

"Easy..." Nikolai said as he formed up with his group, nothing the General could throw at him would mess him up. He was going to be on his game today. That stunt in the briefing room would be swept under the rug after this mission. He wasnt going soft, he was a killer. No way would he be called pathetic by a man like the General, Nikolai could tear him in two.

Alondra just listened as her teammates spoke about death so calmly. She couldn't disconnect herself like some of these hybrids seemed to be able to and the thought of someone dying lingered on her mind. The more she thought about it the more she realized that with how many hybrids there were on such a dangerous mission, the odds were notably against them when it came to their safety and health. Someone was mostly likely going to get hurt or killed. At this last thought her blue eyes scanned the room for Jamie, catching him on the gymnastics bars working effortlessly. The thought of losing him or seeing him get hurt made her sick to her stomach. But she had only herself to blame. She was the one who had allowed herself to get close enough to him to make a connection. Her face flushed and she hoped he would be fine, telling herself that his aerial job gave him extra safety.

Lost in her thoughts again, Alondra blinked in surprise as the General's loud voice boomed over the speaker with an announcement. He wanted to test their weaknesses. Was this to weed out those possibly not fit for the mission? She couldn't fail. The thought of getting her kicked off the team made her determined to pass this new test, whatever it might be. Surely she had seen it all?

Alondra moved to her group, Rubin's team, and waited for further instructions.

Burn it up!

RILEY

Riley sighed at the fact that death was a bothersome topic and she noticed some of the others shifting in their spot. She knew people hated thinking about such a thing--but it wasn't something to be taken lightly. Death was all around and they were just going to have to get over it. For god's sake, everyone did. Everyone had to face the fact that everyone was going to die at least once. She found herself clenching a fist when her thoughts finally died down. Jumping slightly at the sudden noise she looked over and people were getting into their groups. Her heart started to race suddenly. She went on a thousand missions before, but this one gave her a different sensation. Shaking her head and clearing her thoughts, she got into Rubin's group and waited.
And ignite

Haidan heard the General yell for everyone to gather in their groups, not wanting to keep him wait she hurridly made her way down the climbing wall, when she was about five feet from the floor, she jumped down landing on the balls of her feet. She lightly jogged over to a neutral spot waiting for the members of her team. She noticed as everyone else was gathered into their groups. She hoped that she would at least get along with her team members. She didn't want any more conflict. She didn't even want to go on this mission at all, but not like she really had a choice.

She looked around the room, she noticed that Dr Quinn had finally calmed herself down. She was glad. She didn't like that evil look she had in her eyes. Not that she blamed her, that general was a jerk.

Dr. Quinn watched as all the hybrids started to form into their groups. She sighed. She really hoped that this would go well. She didn't mind having to patch them up when they got back form missions, but it was doing the coroners report on the deceased that came in that really bothered her. And especially the few times that the higher ups made her do autopsy on them to figure out if they were close to making the perfect hybrid or what exactly killed them, to make the next ones better. She knew that being heartless kind of came with this job because who the hell else would want to torture creatures like this and then not care when they showed up dead. But sometimes she thought that some of the higher ups and other scientists weren't even human. Logically, everyone who worked here had to be human, but that doesn't mean that their mind has to act entirely human. Sometimes, she really thought they were more animal than the hybrids were.
