Korin hummed a soft, agreeable note, eyes open enough to see how tired Olivia looked and hoping she would fall asleep if she needed to, that he wasn't keeping her up even as he was almost trying not to sleep. "A lot of work sometimes, but I wanted to help it grow. . . Is an orchard a very big garden? What kinds of things do you grow?"
Part of him wondered if he would ever see something like that, a garden that stretched far enough he had trouble seeing the end, plants as vast as the sea. If nothing else it was very pretty imagery.
"Oh - them?" He asked a little more softly, a little more confused. "Your family?" He assumed that was what she meant, when she said 'we' were growing things. He still wondered what it was like to have a real family. It was too soon to let himself think at all of what his own might have been like.
