Comfort food? Definitely Pao de Queijo-- it's a type of Brasilian cheese bread. Yum!

I know this is gonna sound strange, but grilled chicken coated in hot sauce. Like, a lot of hot sauce. It might even be that I enjoy the burning sensation more than the food itself; for some reason feeling that heat on my tongue just makes me feel good.

Pasta of any sort. A 3-cheese baked macaroni and cheese would be the most effective at comforting me, especially if there's bacon and/or toasted breadcrumbs involved.

... Sounds so good right now. *writes up her next grocery list*

Matzo-ball Soup is honestly my favorite. It just makes me smile and tastes amazingly good. Sadly this is also a dish that my family rarely ever cooks, though I've never had an unhappy time eating it. I think it's mainly because Matzo-balls taste a bit more sweet than noodles, and remind me a bit of dipping buttered bread into my soup. All in all, I think the matzo-balls are my favorite part of the soup overall.
