I'm not in the mood to waste your time so I'll keep this short.
Story:
You and I will be playing commonwealth citizens living in Fairline hill estates until something happens that forces us out be it either a raider attack or a swarm of ferals or whatever. Stuck out in the "Wealth", we'll be forced to travel to a proper new location to settle, as such we will spend time exploring the land and as extension exploring ourselves. It stands to reason we'll be coming in contact with many of the other factions and we'll be forced to choose a side sooner or later.
Timeline:
Shortly before the arrival of the sole survivor and after the quincy massacre.
