Location: The very edge of the Crowlithe sector, a contested part of space being fought over by the Terran Imperium (a human led empire) and "The True Reign", a coalition of alien species that seeks to keep other galactic powers out. Specifically, the rp starts at Wayfarers Star, a space station that caters to trade.
Basic Plot: Kal Artil, owner and pilot of the heavily modified ship,Ellipsis, has been contacted by a prospective employer (filled) who wishes to contract the services of the fast, heavily armed and armored freighter, for a job that they specialize in. Namely, this involves transporting cargo (of quite literally any kind, legal or not) into areas of heavily contested space. Kal has docked at the station to meet the employer in a small bar on the fifth level, along with the "cargo". Which turns out to be a pair of Celestrians. The employer wishes to transport these two to a certain location, wherethey can be sold. [Two other characters are needed, but the options are rather open. Suggestion include crew members of the Ellipsis, oreven a hitchhiker or stowaway. Other ideas are welcome, so long as they fit in the basic framework]

Celestians (by humans)
Cgulcequms (by themselves) (translates to The Star's own)
Physical Traits:
-fiery hair which can be any color and is in fact is only a little warm to the touch. It is manly to scare away larger species and beings. This is where they get their name.
- small statures. Average height of only 4'7". The high gravity of their planet resisted them from growing very large.
-very fair skin which glows under their hair and their all around beauty which is very similar to that of humans.
Other Distinctive Traits:
-high intelligence
-longevity
-Hydrogen based life forms
History:
When first discovered it was the early colonization of newly discovered planets by humans. The power hungry humans almost completely erradicate the species seeing their high intellect as a threat then they realized they could use then as slaves of all types instead. Thus, began the trade and high value of the race.

Kal Altir: (Jad)
Age: 26
Species: Human (Male)
Appearance:
Height: 7'2" (218cm)
Looks: Apart from his very large stature, Kal fits typical human looks. He has relatively short brown hair, and sports a beard. He has blue eyes, that are usually hidden behind a pair of dark sunglasses. A variety of tattoos cover his forearms. His skin is white. Physically he is a good deal stronger than expected from a human.
Clothing: While he dresses to match the occasion, Kal's usual clothing consists of any of a variety of t-shirts and a pair of vaguely military style pants fastened with a simple black belt. His boots are gray and utilitarian. When on duty or expecting trouble, he also adds a set of light armor plates over his usual clothes that protect his shoulders, chest, and knees, as well as holding munitions and equipment. Ever present is his signature baseball cap, embellished with a skull and crossbones.
Personality:
Kal is a rather quick witted man, who is not afraid to take big risks, provided that someone else is paying well for it. Always looking to make good pay, he accepts jobs from whomever has the dough regardless of the legality of his efforts. He is fiercely protective of both his ship and his crew, and is not reluctant to use force to defend either. A bit of a jokester, he has a good sense of humor which comes to light at odd times. He has little respect for authority, and believes in looking out for himself and his crew above all. Not one to pass judgement on clients or acquaintances alike, he prefers to see things for himself.
History:
Kal was born on Rial, a human colony world that was long forgotten by the Terran Imperium. Developing rather independently, it's people have adapted to the high gravity of the planet, growing much taller and stronger than most other humans. It was violently repossessed by the Imperium approximately 75 years ago, and Kal, like many other Rialians, has a distinct dislike of the Imperium government. His parents were both traders, and Kal often traveled with them. An accident at a fueling station left both dead when he was 12. Ownership of the Ellipsis passed to him, but operations were run by a close friend, a former mercenary named Tylas. Tylas raised Kal, and taught him the ropes of running a ship that played both sides of the legal lines. Over the years the two made many modifications to theElipsis, converting it into a very heavily armed and armored fast transport. Upon Kal's twentieth birthday, Tylas officially retired from the business, leaving Kal as the sole owner of the Ellipsis. Since then he has continued to ply his trade, travelling across the galaxy and specializing in transport jobs nobody else will take.
Notes: Kal runs an unusual business. Basically he takes cargo of any type or description and gets it into rather...contested areas. Think of it as a bit like an armored car that is available for hire.
Celestrian 1: (Megan)
Helilia
Age:
Developmental compared to humans: about 23
Year: 913
Species: Celestirans
Appearance:
Height: 4'6"
Looks: Normal characteristics of her kind with glowing fiery orange irises. She wears whatever she can at the time.
Personality:
Outer Layer: Helilia can have a very wise edge to her. She had seen many things over her years. She comes off as tired out and wore down from all the things she has been through. She does not speak a whole lot unless spoken to. She is very easy going and laid back.
Inner Layers: Helilia can be fun and energetic when she is given a reason. Her mind is still in the developmental stages of that of a 23 year old human female. She is very intelligent and would love to talk about anything about the composition of planets to the composition of governments. She really enjoys to pick apart and really think about what things are really made of. She has a really big heart and has suffered a great deal over the years because of it. It seems she has locked away a good deal of herself.
History:

Celestrian Two: (Dip)
Sh'Lquomn G'hzomz-Tek
Nickname: Solomon Gomez
Age
Age in Human Years: Roughly 26
Age in Celestrian Years: 1146
Species
Celestrian/*Giluionian Hybrid
*Giluionians are simply the closest things to Celestrians in modern time, minus a few characteristics. Things that really bring out the Giluionian trait in Solomon is his digitigrade legs, that seem to work much like a bird's leg does. Atop his avian-like legs is a medium length tail, that has an abundance of wayward hairs near the end of it's length, reminiscent of the hair on his head. The last trait is a simple case of severe blindness, that leaves his eyes to be nearly twice the size of a normal Celestrian. He wears large-framed glasses to try and help his worsening eye-sight, and can sometimes be seen pulling out a pair to simply read.
Appearance
Height: 5'3"
Looks: Besides the Giluionian genes from his fathers side, he is an average Celestrian male. He has flame-red hair that curls in all different directions, but is curiously shaved off of one entire half of his head. Stubble is simply found there, now. The fair glowing skin he possesses pulsates a beautiful orange color occasionally. His eyes, though quite large and alien-like, possess the orange faintness, as well.
Gender: Male
Clothing: He stands pathetically in a pair of stolen black boots, that reach a little above his calf, but fold over uselessly due to his legs. Solomon wears a pair of ripped, rolled-over, oil-stained, worn jeans, and it appears to be the only pair he possesses. He keeps them up with a black belt, and further upward yet is a simple white tank-top (also oil-streaked and dirty). He layers on a black pilots jacket (he stole it along with the boots-- gotta have a matching set, right?) with the sleeves rolled up part way. It buttons up, with a collar that stands out, but he currently keeps it unbuttoned. He carries the pilot's black hat in his back-pocket, but took off most of the buttons that the unknown pilot had earned. He is skilled at the art of stealing and replacing clothing, and can be seen changing into whatever he may find, but the pants are without-a-doubt his favorite.
Personality
All Around Personality: He's hard to chew and hard to swallow, that's for sure. For years he has been escaping slavery and slavery again, and is wanted in many parts of the region for rioting and anarchism. He is a free thinker, and good at thinking, too. He is sharp as a double-bladed knife, and can get out of any situation. But as wise as he is, he is also a little quick to judge. He wants no part in friendship or love, but if you get on his good side, you have a friend for life. He is protective of what he values, and is willing to fight to the end to protect what little he has.
History:
He was born in a manor that most people would simply call thunderous. From what little family he has, that little group claims that the hammer of the heavens came down and crashed upon the very spot he was born. The reason they say this is because he really wasn't suppose to be born to begin with.
His mother was a pure Celestrian, and his father was pure in his own kind. His father towered over her in more ways than one, and the likely hood of Solomon being born was a gift from the stars itself.
He enjoyed the life he had as shortly as he lived it, and even as he did he was called and outcast and a mutt. But that was nothing compared to what the humans did. They took his mother and sold her for cheap, and his father was forced to leave with what they had and as fast as possible.
It wasn't long after that till his father lost track of his beloved son, and he himself became a wayward vagabond. He spent his hears traveling, hiding, and keeping himself secure and occupied. There is little to be known of him, but he is anything besides seemingly harmless.
Employer: (Yiyel)
Name: Various (see species notes)
Nickname: Commonly called Magellan by humans
Age:
Human: 36
Years: 90
Species: Ruisk
Appearance: Large, humanoid creature with dry, rough skin covered by fur except for an area covering the chest, going up the neck and ending right under the eyes, covering the mouth and cheeks. Outside of the shade of the skins, the hair and the size, the differentiating factors from humans are an unusually flat nose (similar to a camel's if a camel had a flat face), the lack of visible ears and the solid two rows of interlocking, beak-like tooth.
Height: 6'10" (208cm)
Looks: Bulky, solid stature with defined, sleek muscle definition despite the fur (though much less massive than other Ruisks due to upbringing). Carbonsteel-colored eyes. Mars-red fur (trimmed to 2cm length, or three quarters of an inch) with underlying sawdust-colored skin. Thin lips colored like clay.
Clothing: Wears orange overalls made of what looks like a tightly woven fiber (which type of fiber exactly is hard to determine but looks like it could be vegetal) over a baggy yellow coverall while in private, but prefers to do his public dealings in a full-body maroon envirosuit (which, incidentally, makes him look simply like a large humanoid or even a genetically-modified human) equipped with a large "cargo compartment" (which is really just a large backpack made of rigid polymer) and complete with a yellow, frosted glass faceplate (of which the frosted layer can be removed for vision should the suit's power fail - otherwise, two small cameras to either side of the helmet provide visual feed).
Personality:
Outer: Grinning, snarky idiot who hides his wit until needed. Always ready for a laugh, but how quick he can change from being completely serious to being a complete fool and vice versa can be rather confusing if one is not used to Ruisks. Always entirely honest though.
History: Born on a small Ruisk asteroid outpost known as Mirrala to the outside community, Magellan had the upbringing most of his peer had (there isn't much options when your birthplace is only a few thousand strong and renowned to be the place to raise children to become explorers and merchants) - social skills, bartering and "blind" navigation. And so, once he got old enough, he passed the rite of maturity of Mirrala, which was to successfully barter his way to owning a ship (as there is two age ranges on Mirrala - the young ones who haven't reached maturity, and the old navigators who return to found a family), and set off to make his name in the intergalactic community... though he did not expect his name to be known in the dark markets, having hoped at first to make it as a legitimate tradesman. But such is the life of a Ruisk, and the profits are good. Though he realized he'd soon need the services of the Ellipsis...
SPECIES NOTES: Ruisks
Ruisks, socially, are strange creatures - they believe more strongly in the value of face than the value of identity (which was accentuated by slightly sub-par vision, very poor smell beyond three inches from the nose and/or tasting but increased auditory range, frequency bands and perception), and as such no Ruisk is born with a name - merely the sound or word the parents first identify it with, which might change as ages define the individual (such transitions are almost always noted in private to avoid confusion). As his age (and thus social circle) increases, the numbers of sounds and words (and voices associated with them - according to Ruisks, a person is as much the noise it's called with as the voice who calls) increases to staggering numbers, which would leave most other species baffled (maybe with an exception of species with avian properties, as the amount of sounds the Ruisk can differentiate and remember is almost fifty-fold compared to most other species). It gives other species the illusion of quick familiarization and friendship with Ruisks, who almost always call people with a given nickname when recognizing the voice (which can require a single interaction if the Ruisk knows contact with an individual will be frequent
