Jason was growing more and more frustrated with every passing second. This machine just didn't know when it was time to settle down and get out of his way! Not that Jason had any qualms over destroying it and murdering Celica but the longer they spent wandering around, it'd draw attention to them and then they'd only have more pests. Something Jason and Terumi could have both done without, especially since this current pest was rendering Jason the only one capable of doing something about it.
As Minerva activated her thrusters, Jason raised his arm across his chest as he was sent skidding across the ground. Wasn't the most pleasurable of sensations but Jason's reaction to such things had dulled somewhat after going as far as ripping his own arm/getting his own machete through the chest and out the back. This machine could dish out whatever it liked but Jason knew full well that it wouldn't be able to...
"...!"
What was the power this machine was putting off??? Reabsorbing his machete back into his mechanical arm, Jason held both arms across his chest in an 'x-like formation. As Minerva came in, the ground under Jason's feet was shattered. The shockwave continued to expand outwards as Jason's synthetic flesh was torn away at and blood and bits of metal were sent soaring through the air. He had made the mistake of underestimating his opponent and was paying the price for it. But as Jason was sent stumbling after every blow, before the coup de grace could come in, Jason had vanished in a cloud of lake mist.
Reappearing next to Terumi, Jason stood to his full height and it wasn't a pretty sight. His chest was a mess of torn apart flesh and shredded metal as far as the eye could see. The nanobots quickly set about doing their job to repair it but Jason was stunned. He had felt Minerva's potential through that hammer blow but to actually be taken aback by that rush was something Jason couldn't quite wrap his head around and neither could Terumi for that matter. Jason was nothing more than a big lumbering oaf as far as Terumi was concerned, yet he made the mistake of underestimating someone??
Well, it seemed like they'd both pay for their mistakes now..
